Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

funky that's hilarious! I always dreamed of that happening to us and fantasised about having to call the fc! Anyway, whatever he has been through, that's nothing compared to what you're going to go through! I always think of jules Oliver's book when I think of jizz tests. She says the receptionist was all star struck when she realised who Jamie was and stood there talking to him with it in her hand for ages!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 07:34

RP?

Thunderpantsarego · 16/11/2013 09:00

Morning all, barking I'm sorry you had such a low moment last night but glad you could talk about it with someone. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be more fun now x

barkingtreefrog · 16/11/2013 09:07

Ha! I'm here to check on rp as well merk!!
Come on rp we need bfp/af updates!

thunder I had a long chat with my mate after we'd gone to bed. Feel better now there's someone to look out for me!

SidneyBristow · 16/11/2013 09:15

Thanks barking glad last night turned itself around. Hoping today is easier for you now that you've confided in your friend.

rp? Anything?

Cd30 here and FF puts AF as arriving today; am usually 28 days so not sure if I'm late or maybe that the clomid wonked me up a bit. Either way not testing til tomorrow at the earliest. Polyp removal set for tues so if AF is coming, she needs to get a move on - if not, I'll be that much more ecstatic bc I'll get to cancel the procedure!!

Scared shitless really to even hope. My brain knows it'll start later today as it always does, but I can't help but hope I'm wrong. Feeling tearful about it already.

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 09:29

Sid think lots of people's cycles got longer on clomid x
Barking sorry I missed your shitty night, hope its better from here
RP is sticking her head in the sand, her temp is still up this morn Grin

yorkiebilb · 16/11/2013 09:36

Has anyone else ever had a ovarian cyst? I've just started AF and was only on day 22 of my cycle. Tmi but I've stood up a couple of times and literally felt the blood gushing out of me. It doesn't feel normal in the slightest Sad

So sorry you had such a tough night barking Glad you spoke to your mate and hopefully you'll feel a bit better knowing that someone else is in the know and can help steer those conversations onto something else.

Fx for sid and rp
sid do you know when you ovulated?

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 09:37

Yorkie I have no experience of that but I'm sure I read somewhere if blood flow was more than a certain amount that you should go to emergency doc/hospital

yorkiebilb · 16/11/2013 09:47

sorry I'm probably making it sound much worse than it is. It's not gushing all the time. Just a couple of times last night and in the middle of the night I could feel it coming out. Sorry tmi. I emailed my consultant yesterday to ask if early AF was due to iui or cyst but she didn't get back to me.

barkingtreefrog · 16/11/2013 09:55

yorkie I had an ovarian cyst (years ago) but it was nothing to do with bleeding, I was in excruciating pain and got admitted to hospital via ambulance (was camping with friends at the time) with suspected kidney stones. Thankfully I didn't need the op as it sorted itself out and was absorbed. I don't know whether there's a difference between the cyst I had and the cysts the fertility consultant said could be caused by pg (he wanted me to have a scan to check before I took the provera and went back on the clomid).
I'd definitely want to get that checked out, doesn't seem right to me disclaimer, I don't actually have any medical knowledge to base my 'not right' feeling on

merk my temps don't drop until cd3 ish, but isn't rp late now?

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 10:01

I think RP was due on Thur (based on previous LPs) and FF thinks Tuesday. It's impossible she O'd later than I think based on her chart so yes i would say she's def late unless her LP has magically lengthened for no reason! Last month her temps dropped on CD2 but even now her temps are much higher than they are normally
Just sayin....

Bunnygirlie · 16/11/2013 10:08

barking hope you have a better day Smile

sid hugs for you, we are here if it is AF or not

yorkie keep an eye on that my dear, maybe call the NHS helpline?

merk I am worried about you, you are obsessed woman! Wink

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 10:10

Meant to say, who was it who had the super high immune results? Any update? I read that there's a clinic in Epsom that specialises in immune stuff

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 10:11

bunny I am the same for all the berries... Hoping my positivity and will power can steer you into the chopper! I clearly need more chart links to obsess over though

yorkiebilb · 16/11/2013 10:34

Thanks barking that sounds horrible. I haven't been in horrendous pain at all, just had a dull AF type ache for past few weeks, nauseau and sore breasts. All the pg symptoms without the actual pg! I'm more concern as to why my cycle is so short and the effect it has had on my hormones. Out of interest and you may not have had that close an eye on your cycles then but did it make any difference to your cycle length?

I love that merk keeps an eye on all of us and offers some very valuable advice!

Yep I'm the one with mega high immune test results merk my body is falling apart I think! Thanks for the recommendation and will bear that in mind.

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 10:49

Yorkie Don't be under any illusions that I offer any advice other than to pimp! Hope you're feeling better soon

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 10:59

Scared shitless really to even hope. My brain knows it'll start later today as it always does, but I can't help but hope I'm wrong. Feeling tearful about it already.

^This.

No AF yet but I am CD29 - I believe I OV on CD16, so I'm 13dpo. My previous LP have been (ish) 11/12 days so I might be a tad late but then my LP doesn't seem to be stable. Also I felt soooo AFish last night and although my temps are high, they are dropping a bit over the last few days. Also-also-ALSO Merk thanks so much for the info on triphasic temperature curves - but I was triphasic last month too and no dice :( I didn't know it was called that but I remember seeing the change and being all 'oooh what's that about?' - but it was nothing.

I just keep feeling like AF is on the way. If nothing has appeared by the end of the day I may buy a test on my way home. Sid testing pact for tomorrow morning, if....?

For some reason just feel like I know I'm not and can't take the inevitable bfn. Right, supposed to be off being all bright n chirpy at University open day now. The last time I got AF there was one of these on, must be some kind of freakin' curse Hmm

Cats congrats on your folly and barking hope you are feeling better in the morning sunshine.

yorkiebilb · 16/11/2013 10:59

merk you are more than just a 'pimp suggester'!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 11:03

RP last months chart wasn't tri phasic, it had a peak but not a phase.
Anyway, just remember that testing does not change the outcome. You know your body best and if you feel like AF is coming then don't test. Try not to stress or worry or hope. Have a good day x

barkingtreefrog · 16/11/2013 11:43

Thanks rp, try not to stress Wink please read with irony

yorkie I was on the pill at the time so no noticeable effect on cycle (and I wouldn't have been looking at the time as you say).

Having the most laid back hen do ever. Just eating breakfast now.... Feeling better now my mates know (told the other two in our apartment this morning before the hen & others came back round).

BlueBirdy · 16/11/2013 13:25

Yorkie can't be of any help, but do hope you get it figured out, can't be nice at all Sad

Barking glad things have got better, hope you have a good weekend!

Merk (or anyone with any knowledge of cycles and bbt) do you know much about 'implantation dips'? I get these every now and again, but am never (obvs) pregnant Hmm It always gets my hopes up, but then AF arrives right on schedule. Any insight would really be appreciated!

So, had 1st FC appt yesterday, need to have a scan to make sure everything is ok (as I tend to get cramps throughout my cycle) but have an appt booked 27 Dec so they can go through all things IVF with us! Kind of nervous that we are going straight on to that, will be more than likely ICSI. Turns out that an op to release an undescended ball when my DH was a tot is probably responsible for the woeful semen.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 14:20

Hey blue fertility friend says there's a reasonable amount of people of have a 'dip' without it relating to pregnancy. It's probably due to the drop in progesterone mid LP. fertility friend study here I would guess on a bfp cycle you probably wouldn't see a dip at all, your prog prob drops in the LP and it wouldn't in a pregnancy cycle
Glad to hear things are moving with the clinic

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 15:18

Ahhh thanks Merk. I know testing won't change things but it feels like jinxing! I really just need to woman up and do it.

yorkie that sounds scary but tbf I have felt something like what you are describing before on heavy periods and it was never anything. Hope you can get it checked out though and it's all fine.

Pipbin · 16/11/2013 16:20

Hurrah for Funky, it seems ages since we've had a Berry BFP.

Feather sounds like a fairly positive outcome. Does it mean that the tube is OK?

All those embarking on IVF; the injections are really easy and very very painless. I was really worried about doing them and I was surprised at how easy it was.

I've got my next IVF appointment on Tuesday and my next cycle should start when AF comes next weekend.

We need a new list.

Pipbin - 38 - TTC since April 2011 - about to start second IVF cycle - AF due 23rd Nov

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 16:40

Pip - sorry if I'm being dim - but how do you know you're not pg already? Are you just antijinxing assuming like me?

Right. Cannot work as too distracted. Going home and going to buy test and also beer on the way home. Then either way I'll have something to occupy myself.

Confused Grin
