Hi ladies, thanks for the lovely messages!! Great to see a bit of activity on the thread too Grin
I've done another test this morning, and although the line is still there it's no darker... When I tested obsessively at the beginning of dd's pregnancy the lines got darker each day, and with each pg that didn't work out the lines stayed faint. I'm wondering if this isn't meant to be Sad

Will come back later & post properly but must get some breakfast as feeling queasy x

Neeko · 29/05/2015 07:14

Keeping everything crossed for you chintaria xx

Lamaitresse · 29/05/2015 07:18

Thanks neeko Smile

Here's a pic for those wearing white coats...

Lamaitresse · 29/05/2015 08:00

Ps neeko are you feeling any better? Hope the antibiotics are helping x

Neeko · 29/05/2015 09:01

Now I think that line IS darker. Smile Give it a couple of days. Lots of things can change the line colour such as how much you had to drink yesterday. The fact is that you have HCG in your urine and are pregnant. Hold on to that xx

Not feeling much better. Have another appt at 10.40 to double check before the weekend. Just want to feel normal again. Hmm

4everhopeful · 29/05/2015 15:33

Aww Chintaria I think that line looks darker too.. I know you will drive yourself crazy these next few days, weeks and months(!) Wink But feeling sick is a great sign too.. Sending you hand squeezes, sand, cotton wool, and one of my old bubble wrap dresses.. Wink

Oh Neeko hope it improves soon, never suffered from a uti, but it sounds painful..

Still struggling myself, 2 weeks today since op, compression stockings and strips off all 20 incisions! Starting to feel big improvement, and come down with blummin laryngitis! I sound like Phil Mitchell! Grin

Neeko · 29/05/2015 17:50

Hope you are better soon 4ever. We are the walking wounded (literally in your case) Grin

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 09:16

Oh poor you 4ever, your op sounds really painful! And laryngitis on top Sad Hope you're feeling better?

Neeko any improvement on the uti? Really hope thing are starting to improve, must be horrible for you Sad

All progressing okay here for the moment - getting a darker line now & feeling very nauseous. There's already loads of food that I can't stomach so am in trouble I think...

Hope anyone reading this is having a good weekend & hello to any lurkers Smile

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 09:17

CloudOfStarlings · 31/05/2015 20:04

Grin thanks so much! I think it's 17th Jan so not much between us! I'm feeling ok, just really really tired this last week..keep dozing on the sofa and ds1 keeps asking why I'm so sleepy!
It doesn't feel real to me yet! I'm excited and scared at the same time Confused

OP posts:
CloudOfStarlings · 31/05/2015 20:05

Ps really hope the sickness isn't too awful this time around for you EnvyConfused

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 20:41

Ooh that's near dd's birthday! Great time of year to be born Wink Poor you feeling so tired - I felt like that yesterday, really struggled to pick myself up.
I'm starting to get a bit scared (and excited!) but I think because this was a surprise I just feel so grateful to be in this position.
Thanks re sickness, today's been much easier so not sure whether to panic or just feel grateful for a slight reprieve! Am worried about how on earth to look after dd if it does get v bad - am looking into getting a nanny for a few months. Just hope we'll need it iykwim!
Will you be having an early scan or will you wait for 12 week one? I'm going to ring the hospital in the morning so suspect it'll be in a couple of weeks. I want to see what's going on but want to try to get to around 7 weeks so we'll hopefully see a heartbeat (fx!)
Have you been feeling sick at all?

Neeko · 31/05/2015 21:02

Oh wow! GrinGrinGrin Cloud!!!GrinGrinGrin So pleased for you.

Yay! I knew it was worth keeping this thread ticking over Smile.

Well I'm pulling up my chair and preparing myself for hand holding as and when required over the next 7-8 months.
I'm actually super excited for you both.

Chintaria. My uti is much better today, thanks. The second lot of antibiotics seem to have done the trick, thankfully.

Moon. Hope your long weekend is going well and J is through that phase. Been thinking of you.

4ever. Ouchy, ouchy, that sounds sore. Hope you are feeling 100% again soon

Rumours · 31/05/2015 21:08

Grin Grin Grin Grin congratulations cloudGrin Grin Grin Grin

I found out today, yes a sunday!!, that I may have epilepsy. I have to stop driving which is the worst part! Not sure it will work out, but will just have to manage Sad

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 21:20

Oh rumours you poor thing Sad What a nightmare for you. I know virtually nothing about epilepsy but can imagine it must be a very scary time. Did you get any other information today? Do they think they will be able to get it under control? Sending you a big hug xxx

Neeko · 31/05/2015 21:28

Oh Rumours! Hmm That's quite worrying for you.
My cousin has it and still drives but I believe you have to be a year without a seizure before you are able to drive again. She has not had one for several years, despite a pregnancy and madly fluctuating hormone levels. I believe there is some excellent medication for controlling the condition these days.
All that doesn't really help you today though.
Huge hugs to you. Feel free to text me if you need someone to chat to.

CloudOfStarlings · 31/05/2015 22:55

Thanks so much ladies, wanted to share it with you as you'd all been such a big part of my journey before now!
No sickness chintaria and so grateful for that, it must be horrible Confused glad you've had some reprieve though! No don't think I will get an early scan (unless something goes wrong god forbid) they don't offer them at our hospital unless there's pain etc..

rumours hope you're ok that must be scary! And so inconvenient not to be able to drive ! Hope that goes ok and you have some people offer to help out!

moon hope you're ok too, my ds both do the same thing to dh which he finds really hard because he doesn't see them all day long, then they both scream for me at bath/bedtime.. it's usually when they're really tired. I hope you've had some lovely quality time with J .

4ever hugs to you, my MIL had both legs done for varicose veins about a year ago and it was a really hard recovery but she's so much better now than before the op so it'a def worth it!

Congrats to both Chintaria and Cloud GrinGrinGrin

Hugs to Rumours and Moon and hope you're feeling better 4everThanks

Sorry this is a flying visit but had to write a quick post. Zain's going to be 2 in a couple of weeks can you believe!

SabsFabulous · 31/05/2015 23:00

Oh and hope you're feeling better too Neeko

Waves to any other fellow lurkers

4everhopeful · 01/06/2015 10:58

Oh my goodness Cloud!!! GrinGrinGrin Massive congratulations to you! Grin I was actually thinking of you the other day as you were my pregnancy buddy with Summer! So that means J must be about to turn 5 too? Such great news for your family! Grin So pleased for you all!

Still absolutely beaming for Chintaria too! Grin Did you manage to get a scan booked today?

Who's gonna round it up to thread tradition and make it 3?! Wink Come on you lurkers, anything you wanna share? Wink Love how we are still here all these years on rekindling a buzz of activity for fabulous news! Smile

Although Rumours not so fabulous for you at the moment, bet you're feeling floored, life keeps throwing you these damn curveballs, know you're very deft at dealing with them, but come on, give the girl a break eh? If it's any consolation, I've also a very close friend with it, who controls it just fine with meds, and also still drives, hope that's some solice... Have you had seizures then? Must of been v scary for you.. Is there a chance it could still be down to anything else? I was tested in my teens/twenties and it was found to be hypoglycaemia, non diabetes related, just gotta eat regularly and that's it.. Fingers xd it could still be something like that.. How's your lovely boys getting on?

Sabs I was also thinking of you recently too my fellow pregnancy buddy, our boys are nearly 2! Shock It really has flown this time round hasn't it? Have you something nice planned for Z?

Neekoare you feeling better now?

Moon how was the wedding? Have your little man and you enjoyed some quality time and are you feeling better about things? X

Back to school today, normality resuming, DH dad took Summer the week after my op as just couldn't manage it, then we've had half term, so really nice to be getting back to our proper routine again Smile

Love to everyone and I will be back soon.
Ps. There must be a 3rd baby on the way, these things always come in 3s?
