Very exciting to be waking in your own house for Christmas though.

DD2 has chickenpox . She got it yesterday. Still crossing fingers for a mild dose.

Hey all been meaning to check in too.. Not to worry Cloud.. Thanks for your words.. Sorry to hear about your friend.. One of the mums at the school I've become good friends with and I both announced our unexpected pregnancies to each other, hers would of been her 6th she was wonderfully sympathetic when I mc, and sadly this week she has mc'd too.. Obviously it's good I can offer support but sad for her, though of course the 5 she's got (under the age of 7 ) are keeping her distracted!

Lovely to hear about your Christmas at home Cloud what Christmas film you watching? I always think of Blue & Love Actually at Christmas! We all have our Christmas PJs brought and ready too! Presents are practically all wrapped, Turkey ordered, ridiculously excited! I love Christmas!

Summer had her nativity, based on Frozen singing all the songs! Talk about in her element! She was an Eskimo, and her and 2 others sang Do You Wanna Build a Snowman! Soooo proud!

Very ready for the holidays, we are all full of a rotten cough and cold..

Neeko oh no to chicken pox! Talk about bad timing! Will keep fingers xd it's mild! That's what you call sods law, hopefully all done and dusted by Christmas.. bet you're counting the seconds til you break up? Is the dining room all finished and everything you wished for?

Thanks 4ever. She has been in good spirits so far and work have allowed me two days of parental leave which really helps. She is missing her dancing display, visit to Santa and nativity and the jury is still out on the nursery trip. Better now than at school though.

Neeko you are totally awesome but it's not awesome that dd2 is poorly, I was horrified when I saw what it'd put! All good here thanks had a rotten cold all weekend but sods law am much better for work today! Hope alls well with you too.

Sorry you have been unwell and that you have to go to work today I have the day off to look after DD2. She is getting bossy and argumentative so is clearly feeling better. Only a few spots left to dry up. Thankfully we have had an easy dose this time.

I overthink everything! Queen of worriers here dd2 sounds like she's feeling better by all accounts!

Hi Neeko stacked to the roof with large plastic toys here! Why is it toddler toys are just all so big and chunky? Whole new realm of pirate ships, rockets and cars! With a bucketload of Frozen stuff thrown into the mix of course! Hobby horse each were winners though, very cute seeing them running round together neighing!

Combination of teeth coming/cold/unexplained rash/frustrations at talking but not quite getting his point across..... and more! Night times hard work so off to bed to catch some sleep while I can.

We had a new addition to our family today. My nephew was born 5 weeks early. Both he and mum are doing ok. It was a tense morning!

Hi moon. He does have a name but it doesn't feel right for me to post it here since he's not mine. He is still in special care but I got in to see him today and he is gorgeous.
