Oh that's great Rumours. Well done DS2! It must be a relief to you with the school, not least to get a little bit more time to yourself. Smile

Rumours · 25/11/2014 13:24

It is Neeko, but I really don't know how all you working mums manage it? Hats off to you all Smile

Neeko · 25/11/2014 21:15

Ah Rumours, we all just do what we have to do. Some days being at work is far easier. Smile

moonmrs · 25/11/2014 21:33

rumours I agree with neeko its hard work but you do just get on with it. I hated it when I first went back as J was so tiny, but we have ourselves in a routine now. I am lucky in that dh stays at home with J so it could be a lot worse. I do feel like I miss out on a lot though. But yes, sometimes being at work is easier, you can wee in peace, have a hot drink, not need eyes in the back of your head and the bit I enjoy most is my (new, now not a whole hour) 25 min drive home on my own with my music on. Its swings and roundabouts. You do an amazing job with your boys.

Rumours · 26/11/2014 06:43

Thankyou moon and neeko Smile Smile
It's very cold up here this morning. I'm sitting in bed with the electric blanket on while the boys watch telly, awesome mum I am Grin Grin

4ever how're you doing? Smile

Neeko · 26/11/2014 07:41

Oh I totally agree to the drive to and from work. I keep turning down offers to car share because that time gives me head space and I can listen to my cheesy music and sing along loudly in peace!

Rumours- sounds like perfect parenting to me! They are fed, clean and happy. Job done Smile

4ever- I also hope you are doing ok.

4everhopeful · 30/11/2014 22:21

Hi ladies.. Sorry been meaning to do a quick update but tbh so disheartened and p'd off with the whole thing not wanted to keep bleating on about the sorry saga.. Bloods last Monday hadn't moved, still plateauing, had a new woman at EPU (cow) who was rather unfeeling & told me off for going back a couple days early as had been sending myself insane about rupture Hmm Though next day was a little reassured by my original lovely lady, who explained that levels are low and as not risen, the potential that it's a failed ectopic, so chance of rupture very unlikely, as opposed to if it was still growing. . She said that expectant management in these cases is the norm now, so more bloods tomorrow and the desperate hope they are finally dropping.. However, never simple, this weekend the bleeding has become really badly heavy again, tmi, but gushing. . So now worrying also about infection. . Confused Agh.. Just want this damn crap over with. . Sorry for ramble. .

Neeko · 30/11/2014 22:48

So sorry to hear that 4ever. Hope tomorrow gives you the answers you need. Are you taking iron for the blood loss?

Rumours · 01/12/2014 06:30

Hope you get some reassuring results today 4ever.

shroomboom · 01/12/2014 07:13

Ah 4ever sorry to hear it's still ongoing, but do you think the increased blood loss will perhaps reduce your hcg levels more? Good luck today, let us know how it goes xxx

moonmrs · 01/12/2014 13:49

So sorry things are crap for you right now 4ever, I was hoping that physically you'd be over the worst. It is rubbish when you dont have proper answers and feel a bit stuck in limbo land. You poor thing you've been so brave and I wish we could make it all better. Dont feel bad for rambling or feeling like you dont want to 'keep going on about it' no one here sees it like that at all, we've all been there and know how important the support you get from here is. Rant away and let us help. Look after yourself xxxx

Neeko · 01/12/2014 17:29

How are you today 4ever?

Hello shroom, rumours and moon. Do you have your tree up yet? Smile

4everhopeful · 01/12/2014 18:39

Hooray hooray my levels have dropped from around the 300 mark to 12!!!! Grin Soooo relieved and happy it's over! Grin Scan showed nearly normal looking uterus, still pregnancy of unknown location, and was pretty certainly ectopic, but it looks like a resolved one, and my body's doing what it should be... Full blood count too and amazingly not anaemic, and no infection either..phew..Such a huge relief to be almost over.. Shroom you are right, looks like the excessive bleeding over the weekend is my body finally fully ridding itself of it all, tmi but even today still I've passed some huge clots, don't know how ectopic works, was told it gets reabsorbed, but as with ovulation and egg travelling down the tube, makes me wonder if it's passed into the uterus in same way and now finally out? Sorry to be so graphic ladies! Blush I've sent myself a bit doolally with it all.. Feel unbelievably exhausted tonight like I could sleep for a week, definite early night here..

Thanks so much lovely ladies for all being there for me, yet again.. Honestly feel I've said this so many times before, but your support is so invaluable, it means the world.. Love you all xxxxxxxx

So, let's get back to the good stuff, sooooo excited about Christmas! Yep Neeko tree went up on Saturday! How about you? Where are the Christmas smileys?

Oooh is it Burns Night? Grin Have a great one if it is Scottish ladies! Haggis Neeps and Tatties is it? Wink

shroomboom · 01/12/2014 18:52

Oh phew 4ever! What a relief! I know it's still so sad, but at least with the physical side of things seemingly sorting themselves out, hopefully you'll be able to immerse yourself in your dc's and the run up to Christmas more easily... Re the blood loss, I always found that it made a difference with my mc's - I was monitored quite closely after each one due to the molar pregnancy in 2008. Yes, make sure you get some early nights, look after yourself, and just take things easy. How is your lovely dh doing?

I hate to break it to you neeko but we are not putting a tree up this year Blush I have a veeeerrrry good reason though - we're going away on the 20th for two weeks, and I have SO much to do between now and then that putting up a tree and decorations is just not going to happen! Feel a bit sad about it as it's L's first Christmas, but we have a cardboard tree that ds and I made a couple of years ago, complete with red and gold painted sparkly wooden baubles that we'll be putting in the suitcase and blutacking to the wall when we get to the house we're staying in. We are officially saddo's, haha!!

I can't quite believe it's December already - anyone else feel like that? Where has this year gone to?! My baby is almost one, in fact I can now say that next month she will be one Shock Where has the time gone???

Hope you're all okay, and sending you a big hug 4ever for yet again being so brave xxx

moonmrs · 01/12/2014 19:28

So relieved for you 4ever what a bumpy old ride.

The tree is up neeko, J thinks it's amazing, I am constantly being given tree decorations along with 'ta'! He has his first chocolate advent calendar too. I'm so excited about this Christmas now he's old enough to join in, a far cry from the milk monster this time last year!

shroomboom · 01/12/2014 19:41

Lovely re J moon Grin So lovely when they can join in a bit more!
I have to admit that Lily had her first taste of chocolate today bad mummy that I am. She and Charlie have advert calendars up on the kitchen wall I was going to eat the chocolates for her but today I just thought why not and gave her a little tiny corner of one. To say she loved it was an understatement Grin She actually laughed whilst eating it!! Bless my girl (can't think who she takes after Wink)

moonmrs · 01/12/2014 19:48

J was only a few months old when he accidentally had chocolate. Dh had a chocolate biscuit whilst holding J and he actually leaned over and licked it! And it was so funny we just sat and watched. Then worried all day in case it would harm him!

Neeko · 02/12/2014 20:50

4ever. Great news about the levels. So relieved for you. Smile

Yay to the Christmas trees and chocolate eating!

Shroom. Having wrestled with our tree for a few hours on Sunday I can't blame you for not putting urs up. Wink Where are you going?

Neeko · 04/12/2014 22:43

Hi. Just checking in. How are you feeling 4ever?

moonmrs · 05/12/2014 08:40

Hi neeko. Just lurking!

shroomboom · 05/12/2014 10:29

Hello fellow lurkers Xmas Smile

moon that made me giggle re J and the chocolate Xmas Grin Does he like it now?!

How are you doing neeko? Hope all good with you all Xmas Smile

I'm struggling with lack of sleep - partly my own fault as by the time I sit down in the evening I just need a bit of me time, so don't end up going to bed until late. Then L wakes up around 4.30/5am Xmas Shock It's been going on for months now and I am so tired!! I have a permanent cotton wool head Xmas Grin
Neeko we're off to Tenerife but I have so much to do before then, and it's approaching far too fast Xmas Grin Need to figure out how to fit all clothes, Christmas presents and stocking stuff in two suitcases, eek!!

Waves to any other lurkers - hope everyone's okay?! Still thinking of you 4ever how are you getting on? xxx

ps Xmas Grin nice to see the Christmas smilies!

4everhopeful · 05/12/2014 13:38

Hello ladies thanks for thinking of me.. Today should of been my booking in apt so bit weebly this morning but keeping distracted helping at school all morning setting up the Christmas fayre, been nice but tiring. .

Shroom Tenerife? How fab, a warm balmy Christmas, lovely! Have a great time sweetie.. Hope you get some sleep!

Big waves and proper posts to you all later xx Dh just home from work xx

moonmrs · 05/12/2014 13:55

Oh yes J loves his chocolate now. In fact dh sent me a photo at work today of J opening a chocolate off the tree that he'd discovered!

Hi weebly 4ever, been thinking of you too, glad you're keeping busy.

Will try to post properly soon. Love to you all.

Neeko · 05/12/2014 19:34

Hi. 4ever a wobble or two is only natural. Your hormone levels will still be all over the place. Just take it one day at a time. The school Christmas fayre sounds nice.

Moon. A little person here was caught sneakily nibbling chocolate from the tree too Smile. I used to love stealing chocolates from the tree and leaving the wrapper to look like the chocolate was still there.

Shroom. Tenerife will be lovely, I'm sure. Smile You need to look after yourself though and make sure you are getting enough sleep. I'm sure your gorgeous girl will start sleeping later soon but you need a few early nights.

All is good here. Our elf has arrived and is causing chaos. Grin Doesn't half get the girls out of bed in the morning!
I'm counting the days until I stop for Christmas. I luckily stop a few days before the girls and I'm ridiculously excited about being able to do the school run for a day or two. It feels like a Christmas present for me. I'll even get to DD2's Christmas party! Grin
My dining room is also on track to be finished in time for Christmas which I'm really excited about. I can't wait to have a big table that family can comfortably sit round for dinner.
I bet all the wee ones in reception are more than ready for the holidays now.

CloudOfStarlings · 12/12/2014 20:43

Hi ladies! I'm so sorry to be awol..I can't believe I missed your news 4ever :( I'm so so sorry! Can't believe it's happened to you again..but relieved for you that it's over now, at least physically.

...the reason I came back on tonight is because one of my very best friends just told me shes miscarrying for the second time...my heart is breaking for her..the last time she miscarried was right before mothers day, and now just before Christmas :( Made me think of you all anyway...
Hope everyone is ok and looking forward to Christmas... we've got our very proper Christmas tree -our 9th Christmas married and first tree!! Never bothered having one before because we always go away for Christmas but this year we're here Christmas morning, can't wait!! And mostly can't wait for Christmas Eve, new PJs and a Christmassy film! :):)

Good to read all your news and I must say, especially seeing you so happy moon :):)
