Aww neeko so glad you've been able to see him, hope he can go home some time very soon. Sorry, I get a bit excited about baby names, you are completely right not to post and I understand. I do forget sometimes that the whole world can read our posts. They might think we'd gone a bit mad though!

Moon. I forget that sometimes too. When I think about details I posted on here when we were actively trying after the mc I just cringe!

I'm here! I keep lurking but never have any time to post. All good here though, hope everyone else is good too. Lots of snow today. Scary drive to work. But J just loves it.

Had a poorly girl, off school all week.. horrible high temp and rash viral thing.. Had couple hospital apts for my poor Lil fella too, got a referral for mole on his toe, not of major concern but photographed and to be monitored every 3 months, good they are on the case with it though.. He also he has a little lump on neck, which he has ultrasound on next month, & to top it off poor little pickle is also growing an extra tooth so also got a referral to paediatric orthodontics! He is otherwise a solid strong happy healthy little brick so really not overly concerned. .
Apart from that all good here! Can't believe January has just flown by already!

Still lurking! Its sad that we're not the hive of activity we used to be. I know we all have busy lives and I for one don't get chance to post half as often as I did. I don't think there's anymore babies for me neeko. I hope everyone is ok.

I have now registered DD2 for school. She'll be almost 5.5 when she starts and is desperate to get there.

We've just had half term and two inset days. Back to normality tomorrow!

Moon How is J doing? Growing up too quickly no doubt... Lily had her first birthday a few weeks ago and is racing round the house and into everything. Where did my baby go?! We're still breastfeeding which is lovely but she's changed so much in such a short time. She's just started to walk backwards too, which amuses her enormously. She hasn't quite worked out that she needs to look where she's going yet though

4ever is S okay now? Hope so... And your poor boy, with so much going on. Hope he's alright! What kind of mole is it? Do they know what the lump is? I have two friends whose babies have had lumps - they were a kind of cyst which needed an small operation. Is it the same kind of thing? One of my friends sons had an actual lump, and the other one had the same thing but going inwards, bit tricky to explain. Let me know if it is the same and you want info

One of my friends here had a baby girl today I'm not sure if I've mentioned her or not, but after we were successful getting pg through IVF at the new clinic we went to I recommended it to her. She'd had three unsuccessful rounds of IVF and had basically given up. I met her when I was heavily pg with L, and she was v brave and came round for a coffee and we talked about it. I tried to persuade her to go to this clinic, and the rest, as they say, is history I am SO thrilled for her - her baby was born 5 hours ago, and she sent me a pic almost immediately - she is just gorgeous. I am so excited, but I've also been thinking so much about the babymoon we were in this time last year, and how both her and my fortunes changed so drastically before that. It's amazing how just when you think there's no hope that things can change.

Anyway, I have a kitchen downstairs that looks like a whirlwind has gone through it (in fact two have ) so I'd better go and tackle it...

Hi neeko and shroom

J is doing brilliantly thank you, I cannot believe how grown up he is. He is a bit grumpy lately, I think down to teething mainly, but he seems to be absorbing so much that he can't switch off. He is hilarious, he makes me laugh all the time and he can say so many words, even 2 or 3 word sentences, he really is old before his time. We moved him to his big bed last month as he kept getting limbs stuck in his cot, and he has been a dream, I couldn't have hoped for it to go any better. I think finally things are coming together after a really hard few months. My favourite story I am boring everyone with at the moment.... he was in his room while I was putting some washing away, I could hear him racing round so I peeped my head in and said 'J what are you doing?'. He sighed at me and said 'busy busy bee, mummy' and raced off! Not bad for not even 17 months eh!

Oh moon he sounds gorgeous

It's been hard work! But yes am incredibly proud of him, he's the best thing in my life along with dh and I can't imagine what we used to do before he came along.

Yes very entertaining here, J is hilarious, he has an amazing sense of humour for someone so small.

Me too. It's one of my best friends from school so I'm very excited! I think J may possibly upstage anyone on the dance floor, he loves music. He points to the stereo or telly and wags his hand and says on, on, meaning louder! He does a mean hip wiggle. So cute.

Ha ha. They are such funny characters at that age.

Hi all. Just quietly marking my sad anniversary for tomorrow. The pain has long since left me, but this is a place to remember my little never-meant-to-be and to be thankful for all that I have. Six years have whizzed past.

I know quite a few of you have similar anniversaries so thinking of you too.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow neeko and sending you a hug. Aren't we lucky to be able to come here and remember our lost lo's... Six years, goodness me. Scary how fast time goes by isn't it.

Moon have a lovely time at the wedding, hope J has lots of fun and is made a fuss of!

We're off to see some kittens later - they're rescue kittens that were abandoned at two/three weeks old so we've been waiting a month to meet them. If we get them we can bring them home next weekend but I still can't decide whether we should or not. Life pretty much perfect at the moment, and I'm enjoying my time with the children so much. Do I want to complicate things by looking after kittens? On the other hand we have mice, so need to do something (and I miss having a cat to cuddle up to!) What to do?!?
