Oh my goodness 4ever GrinShockGrin Congratulations!! I totally wasn't expecting that, but it's lovely news to find out! Wow! You must've been very surprised!! As cloud says it's funny that both you and Barbie get pregnant accidentally and if there's to be a third surprise please let it be me GrinGrin

I'll have everything crossed for you Smile

Grin re your ds2 cloud little monkey Grin

Moon hope all is going well with the house!

All good here, dd's just cut her 4th tooth today and is almost walking Shock Not sure where the time has gone tbh!

Love to all xxx

SabsFabulous · 03/11/2014 14:51

4ever congratulations!! How exciting SmileSmileSmile but i can understand how nervous you must be feeling about it all too. Have you made appointments and scans coming up?

Waves to everyone else - hope you're all well - be back soon for a proper catch up

CloudOfStarlings · 03/11/2014 21:54

Hi sabs :)

shroomboom · 03/11/2014 22:57

Cloud I know, so do I Grin She's a January baby (21st) but she's very active and determined. Not sure where she might get that from Wink not the active bit mind, I'm too lazy Grin Having a big gap between her and ds spurs her on I think, she follows him and climbs over him, so sweet Grin
How are your boys doing?

Hi from me too sabs Grin

moonmrs · 06/11/2014 20:17

How are you doing 4ever?

Shroom J was almost walking very early on too, he stood up at any possible opportunity and now he runs, jumps, walks backwards and acts like he's been doing it for years! He's only 13.5 months. He is saying some lovely words; teddy, story, juice, socks, shoes, car and things which sound like got it, strawberry and tickle although I am not certain on those ones! Such magical times. We went for lunch today and he said 'story' to the menu, so there I am, sat at the table, reading the menu to him!

shroomboom · 06/11/2014 21:25

Oh just bless J moon, what a little darling Smile You can tell he has such a lovely life from the things he says, bet he melts your heart constantly! He's pretty amazing to be doing all that at 13 1/2 months Smile
How long did it take between him cruising around to actually walking on his own? L is just starting to stand on her own for a second but is constantly pulling herself up to standing, and can kneel up without holding on to anything. I thought she'd be walking by now but she seems to be enjoying this stage Grin It's a bit of a shock - ds didn't walk until 14 months. She just seems so tiny to be moving so much!

4ever have been thinking of you - how are you doing? Do you have to have the same treatment as with dd & ds? Hope you're doing okay...

moonmrs · 06/11/2014 21:51

He does make me smile all the time, he is so funny and a clever little bugger! Too independent for his own good. He seemed to stand for a long time before actually walking. He was content to stand up at the coffee table and play with his toys on there, or stand at the sofa and then walk around holding onto it. I think it was a good 2 or 3 months of that before actual walking, but as soon as he realised what he could do there was no stopping him! He walked a week before his first birthday (and I missed it, was at work Sad but luckily dh caught the end of it on his camera).

I forgot to add 'shit' to the words list... well that's what it sounded like. I realised that it was always accompanied by pointing, so it was a shortened version of what is it! Phew. Now I have to be very careful not to say things too quickly!

4everhopeful · 10/11/2014 12:14

Hi ladies, keep meaning to post! Head truly been in the sand & been keeping busy!

Lovely hearing about our lovely Moon & Shrooms amazingly advanced and bright little babies! Bless them! Smile You can feel your immense love for them emulating from the page, it's so sweet!

Big waves also to Cloud & Sabs how's your gorgeous littluns? Did you enjoy half term? Just seems to have whizzed by!

Big hellooo to our Scottish lasses Neeko & Rumours too! Smile Where's Blue these days? Hmm

Well, it's all sunk in now, we are pregnant (for the 9th time! Shock) got our heads round the practicalities, and actually daring to be quite excited at the prospect of having another baby. . Grin Except of course we all know life ain't that simple for us, so it's one step at a time & hoping to get past each week for now.. Confused Our first scan is a week today when I'll be 7 weeks Confused Had been feeling quite level headed about it all, but we just got our nuchal scan date, 29th Dec, and booking in apt for 5th Dec, so now feeling a bit jittery and praying we'll make them.. As I'm sure you all remember, I've had several booking in apts, but only ever made Summer & Teddy's, so it's become this huge goal/milestone in all my pregnancies! Anyway, as said, one week at a time for now Wink luckily between the school run, and running around after a very active 16m old I don't have much time to worry! Probably for the best!

Neeko · 10/11/2014 21:13

Hi 4ever. Glad everything is going well. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Loving all the talk about your clever babies Moon and Shroom. Can't believe how big they are getting.

Waves to everyone else.

My own two are growing in height and attitude Wink far too quickly for my liking. I've actually felt a bit broody lately Shock but I know it's just a reaction to how grown up the kids are getting and not a real desire. They are babies for such a short time Hmm.

Now that Halloween and bonfire night are over can we officially start talking about Christmas? I'm still winning on the excitement levels in our house Grin. I'm mostly done with shopping except for one or two and DH. Despite this, I'll still be running around in 6 weeks frantically trying to complete everything on time. Such a stressful time but I love it! Smile

moonmrs · 10/11/2014 21:55

Keeping everything crossed here too 4ever so lovely to hear you being so positive about it when it must have been a big shock. May you have a stress free pregnancy this time!

neeko I think now is acceptable for Christmas talk! Jealous of you for being so organised, I haven't even thought about presents let alone bought any. A friend at work put her tree up yesterday!

Neeko · 11/11/2014 07:21

What?!? ShockShockShock I LOVE Christmas and I love preparing for it, but your friend at work is simply crazy! Is she going to be away at actual Christmas or something?
I get organised with presents early because my work is always manic in December. I also like doing Christmas craft activities with the DDs and, I can only concentrate on them if my presents are sorted! BlushGrin

4everhopeful · 11/11/2014 10:50

Ha ha Neeko I'm with you on Christmas! Kids and all other children sorted, I'm actually off to my mums today (aka Santa's storage grotto Smile) to do some wrapping! Agree with you though, Moon Christmas tree already?! Shock Your friend is definitely a bit premature there! Grin Though to be fair ours will go up the first weekend of December! Grin My excuse of the early present buying is simply the boring and practical reason of having to spread the colossal cost, and taking advantage of all the half price/3 for 2 toy sales! Wink

Neeko · 11/11/2014 19:00

So 4ever, what's in Santa's grotto this year?

DD1 has asked for an iPod touch and little else cos she knows that it pushing it, even for Santa
DD2 would like a furby, the playmobil hotel suite and a CD player.
Not sure why I have bought everything else. Blush The Amazon linked to a credit card is all too easy!

We are also finally decorating the dining room and buying new furniture so it should look gorgeous by Christmas. Smile

4everhopeful · 11/11/2014 22:46

Ha ha Neeko I'm so with you of the dangers of Amazon! Your girls have great, albeit expensive taste Grin lucky little ladies they are! Exciting and lovely to be decorating in time for Christmas, what's your colours /theme?

Summer watches the telly ads and declares' I want that!' to anything and everything, baby stuff she says 'Teddy wants that!', boys stuff she says 'I'll share that with Daddy!' Grin sometimes she sees cleaning ads and says 'mummy wants that! Grin Obviously not met every wish, but there's a lot of Frozen stuff, (music box/make up case/doll set/books/art set & tons more etc etc..) A zoomster zuppie, bingo, beados, doc mcstuffin case, doggie doo, colour change barbie bag, colour change Disney Princess.. Too embarrassed to continue, not that much more honest, perhaps a tad spoilt! BlushConfused Then of course there's Teddy, Happyland rocket and pirate boat, innotab (bargain at £35 from the entertainer!) spiderman rc quad, vtech dinosaur thing, vtech animal safari, singing olaf, Mr tumble stuff, spurs stuff, and a bit more Blush

To be fair though it's only at Christmas and birthdays we really get them stuff (I say trying to justify!) I just get carried away! I love Christmas! Very pleased with myself today as have wrapped all Summers! Wink

Did anyone watch miracle babies? Aww soooo amazing!

4everhopeful · 11/11/2014 22:50

Gah... Blingoo not bingo! She's 4, not 40! Grin

Neeko · 12/11/2014 07:50

4ever. You sound just like me! Your two are very lucky. Goodness knows what you will buy DC3! Wink
I love spoiling them at Christmas in the same way that my parents spoiled me. They are good girls really (DD1 asked if she could Hoover this morning whilst DD2 dusted Smile) and I believe they are grateful for what they have. We only buy toys at Christmas and birthday too although they earn pocket money each week and can save for what they want in between. They only "earn" £2 a week though so it takes a while! Grin
Like you, I do lots of bargain hunting so it all looks much more expensive than it is.

Dining room will be oak furniture, floor and skirtings and pale grey walls with a darker grey wallpaper. I am ridiculously excited about having a giant dining table. Oh and we've promised to buy a fish tank for in there once it's done. Fish are the only pets I'll concede to. Mean mummy!

4everhopeful · 12/11/2014 14:17

Ahh bless, yes my mum and dad worked hard to spoil me too, Christmas was always a magical time for me as a littlun so definitely trying to recreate that for ours! Grin We need Christmas smileys! Not to early really is it?! Aww your 2 do sound well trained! Summers help is sporadic, not good at tidying up, but very helpful, and will load the washing machine ect! Attempts dusting but uses half the can of polish! However Teddy is already trying to wipe sides, unload washing and hang on the airer, he's so proud of himself he claps himself, very cute! Smile

Your dining room sounds fab, very sumptuous! Envy Again with you on the pet thing, Summer wants a rabbit, a guinea pig, a chicken and a pony! Not a chance! Grin I must be a mean mummy too!

4everhopeful · 15/11/2014 10:22

Just wiped and a load of brown stuff.. . Doesn't seem to be more, but belly feeling periody churning Sad

Neeko · 15/11/2014 11:04

Oh no 4ever! Squeezing your hand tightly.

moonmrs · 15/11/2014 11:14

Crossing everything tightly that your bean is just bedding in. Is it too early for reassurance scans?

moonmrs · 15/11/2014 11:16

Just realised your 7 week scan must be on Monday? Ignore me!

shroomboom · 15/11/2014 15:13

Oh no 4ever, here's my hand to hold too and a tight hug ((())).
I have everything crossed for you x

4everhopeful · 15/11/2014 15:40

Thanks ladies.. Have done another pregnancy test, and it is still positive. . with my mc before Teddy I got a bfn just under 6w & before I even started bleeding so am taking a tiny glimmer of hope from that, and the brown stuff seems to have stopped for now, even after using my daily progesterone pessary, tmi, but obviously expected the remainder to come out all browny or bloody and was just a teence of brown.. Gripey pains stopped too, am laying down taking it easy, and just praying and hoping there's no more, then the scan is Monday at 12.15pm, so God willing, we'll find out what's going on then, and not before Confused xxx

moonmrs · 15/11/2014 15:50

4ever you are amazing, you are coping brilliantly and you do not deserve to have more scares after everything you've been through. I will be willing your tiny bean to be perfectly fine with a strong heartbeat with no idea what all the fuss was about. Hang on in there lovely lady, we are there with you xxxx

4everhopeful · 15/11/2014 17:31

Moon thank you, you are so lovely, I'd managed to stay dry eyed, but bless you, I read your sweet kind post and just shed a couple of tears. . . As much as this was a surprise for us, we really want it now.. I'm trying to ignore the sporadic aches I'm getting, and the horrible fears in the back of my mind, and have faith in my bean, which is the mantra Neeko gave to me for Summer xxx
