Neeko · 14/08/2014 21:48

Oh bless at playing on the grassy part of the playground and them wanting to share a room. Smile
My two like to have sleepovers in each other's rooms but like their own space. Both would love bunk beds but we spent a fortune on those 3 in 1 beds so they have no chance!
My "pram" money is the beginning of the next trip to Disney fund. Think I have a LOT of selling to do! Smile

SabsFabulous · 23/08/2014 12:23

Hello ladies thought I'd check in to see how everyone is and hope you're having a good bank holiday weekend.

We went to Legoland last week and met the lovely Buddha who happened to be there too Smile E was ever so cute! I've told them if they ever come to London we have to try to have a proper meet up.

I'm back to work in 2 weeks time having been off for 15 months. I'm feeling anxious already! Sad Z is getting cuter by the day but the lazy man is still not walking Grin

Some lovely pics of my cyber nephews and nieces north of the border who are back to school. S goes back on the day I go back to work. They're growing up too fast!

Neeko · 30/08/2014 08:59

Hello. How's all the new starts about going to school?
Feels like we've been back forever up here. Shock

moonmrs · 31/08/2014 21:33

Just popping in to say a quick hi, I don't know where my time goes but I am fast running out again! Having a baby with full time work and buying a house is hard work. Just been listing loads of stuff on eBay to get rid of before we move, and am on my laptop (rare treat!) so thought I would see how you are all doing. Does anyone hear from mrsk? Hope she's doing ok. I can't believe my ds will be 1 in less than 3 weeks! I really cannot believe he has been here for a whole year, that is crazy. He has me in stitches most days, he has discovered recently that looking inside my mouth is funny, he pokes my teeth and tongue and finds it hilarious. He also wipes my mouth with his muslin cloth randomly and then his own! But my proud moments recently have been when he does the sounds of his animals in his books without prompting, he does a lion roar, a piggy snort and a squeaking mouse - all on demand if I point to a picture. And he will do clap and wave on demand too. Bursting with pride mummy Grin

What on earth is this all about Tardis I don't follow dr who so its wasted on me.

Anyway must dash, sorry to ramble and run, will be back soon. Lots of love to you all.

CloudOfStarlings · 06/09/2014 08:33

Quick hello from me! Sorry I missed ajay birthday, hope he enjoyed the choccy cake !!
Hope everyone been getting on ok at school.. ds1 started yesterday & did so well! He loved it & teacher said he was brilliant :) very proud. Getting going in the mornings is hard work though!! can't believe we have to do that every day now, I'm used to my lazy mornings!!
Moon so lovely to read about little j, such a gorgeous age isn't it! He'll be walking soon Shock
Kate, sympathies on the naughtiness..my j played up when his brother was a baby..and both of them are still at their naughtiest for me and no one else! they just know which buttons to push with you don't they! It will get better & I'm sure he'll be fine at school, mine certainly seems to respect his teacher a lot more than me Grin hope you're finding it all ok with 2!

Hi all. Glad all the new school starts are going well. Can't believe how old our wee babies are getting.

Thanks for the link to Barbie's thread. Have posted. What a stressful time for them all.

4everhopeful · 06/09/2014 11:02

Aw lovely to hear about our babies starting reception! Smile Who'd of thought we'd still be here talking about this 5/6 years ago?! Summer started Wednesday and settled really well bless her.. Lunchbox was empty and her endless energy wasn't even slightly impeded! Quite glad as Teddy still gets a good play with her rather than her slumping on sofa as I thought she might! He is in awe of her, follows her everywhere and laughs hysterically just from her looking at him, poor little man's a bit lost without her now! The days seem very long and quiet, oh & cloud I so hear you on missing the lazy relaxed morning's, that was the saddest aspect for me.. I love our wake up snuggles in bed, now I'm in the shower by 6.45am! Been spoilt these last 4 years!

4everhopeful · 13/09/2014 11:56

Hello quiet thread... Smile hope everyone doing okay and our reception kids are all settled in now?

Just a little post from me to mark that tomorrow it's a whole 7 years since my first miscarriage... Seems like an eternity in some ways, also had an edd on the 8th and another on the 26th, for my second and fourth I think, I never thought it ever would, but it is getting a bit blurry now re all the dates & which was which. . Course the only important aspect is remembering my 6 angels, and that I'll never forget, obviously. . Smile Just sharing on here, where I know I can, however much time passes Smile xxxxxxxx

Neeko · 13/09/2014 17:53

Hi 4ever. Hugs for your anniversaries I think it's natural that it all becomes a bit blurry. It's not so much that you forget, but that the little monkeys we have with us take up all our brain space.

All very busy here. We've all been back to school for 4 weeks and it has gone past in a flash. Short week this week as we have a long weekend coming up. We are going to a caravan. Smile

Oh and we have the little issue of the wee decision to be made on Thursday. Wink Quite nervous about it all. Whatever we decide, life will never be the same...

moonmrs · 13/09/2014 21:01

Hello girls, goodness I don't seem to have any time at all these days! Am stupidly busy at work, J being very much of a handful (not that I mind but it takes it out of you!) and buying a house seems to be very stressful. Anyway, I am here, I do lurk when I can and I hope that one day I will have more time to post. Feel bad not being here when people take the time to post as I always appreciate it so much when everyone takes time to post back. Hope Barbie is doing ok now after her scare. Nice to see msk popping in, glad to hear all is well with the lo. 4ever don't feel bad about the dates blurry, neeko is right, we just have more to fill the gaps these days, you will never ever forget.

J is 1 next week Shock now there's a sentence I never thought I'd write. How did that happen?! Having a small family and friends party for him, well more for us to celebrate the little boy we thought we'd never have. Every time I think about it, I well up, I am so worried I will cry on the day!

Once again I have to post and run, sorry but I will be back soon. to everyone.

Neeko · 13/09/2014 21:32

Ah Moon, you are allowed to cry on the day. They are proud and happy tears and the marking if a much-treasured dream being a reality. Enjoy every moment. Smile

moonmrs · 14/09/2014 19:39

Definitely proud and definitely happy, my beautiful little boy. Who, I forgot to mention, is walking! So my weekend has been spent chasing him about and worrying too much that he will fall!

littlebellsmum · 15/09/2014 23:29

Hello ladies - just a quick post. Was posting on the biff and chip chat as bob is now bringing home those ruddy books. Actually quite nostalgic for them and now and like most things, are enjoying them much more third time round. BB is just loving school - she knows no one but runs in happily, has a great time and runs out to tell us all about it. Seems very strange and grown up that my baby is at school - she's even changed her name and is now Joanna at school . I blame my parents S they call her that all the time. ah well, it's payback, I think- as soon as I stated school, I shortened my name and never went back to the full version again, which they have never liked ! Lovely to hear about all the bouncing babies, the two teddies, s'booms gorgeous dd and moons soon to be 1 yr old. All amazing and as others have said, who would have thought all these wonderful things could have happened in those dark days of about 6 yrs ago. And yes, that's probably worth a tear or two.
On the subject of tears, I did have a few tears when BB started school - mainly cos rather than my lovely Fridays with her, I've gone back to work full time, which is rubbish! Ah, well, if I want any more lovely holidays, work is a good idea - just booking to take the oldest dc's skiing in Bulgaria in half term. I've not been in about 12 yrs ( since pregnant with dd1) so am really looking forward to that. Love to all

moonmrs · 17/09/2014 20:31

Hi lbm nice to see you popping in, rubbish about going back to work full time but as you say it pays for the nice extras.

J is one tomorrow Smile he is fast asleep in bed now and I am sat here all emotional, thinking of everything that was happening this time last year. Never thought I would have my beautiful little boy and now he is one, he makes me smile all day every day and I know I am so lucky to have him.

Neeko · 17/09/2014 20:42

Oh Moon. Congratulations on surviving the first year of motherhood. Smile I'm so happy for you and Mrmoon and your gorgeous little man. Enjoy every moment of tomorrow.

Hi LBM. Rubbish about back to work full time but glad all is well with you and yours.

SabsFabulous · 18/09/2014 07:34

Happy 1st birthday J SmileSmileSmile have a wonderful day special day and Thanks for you Moon Have a fab time at the party

Barbie if you're lurking thinking of you lots. I tried to send you a message via WhatsApp but I think I must have an old number, will try via fb

Exciting day for north of the border today - I'm very interested to see the outcome!

On my way to work - it's my second week back. Very tiring, just need to keep very organised - Z waking up in the night doesn't help, think I need to wean him off the breast milk completely soon, just don't think we're both ready yet! Also having a couple of issues with S, which I think might be linked to me going back to work so feeling a lot of guilt Sad

Waves to everyone else - sorry for lack of personals
