cd31 dpo 12.. .... oh I can't stand the limbo anymore. I feel less and less pregnant every hour. I almost just want af to arrive to put me out of my misery! So which one of us has the funds to invest in researching how we get the human race to evolve to include the "blue bellybutton" pregnancy indicator.

Wish I was on holiday...

So want a holiday, but we're in the process of moving house at the moment and there are tenants in the house we're buying and they're playing silly buggers and not letting our mortgage survey people in, it's been almost 8 weeks!!!!!
We've normally completed by now (we've moved a lot!) and they've got to be given 2 months notice yet! This has all delayed a holiday for us which we were hoping to go on before Xmas but are hoping the tenants will leave early when they finally get their notice next week (surveyors are going in regardless now, notice being given next day) hence we've not booked just in case! Ho hum!

Hey guys- quick question about Smep and OPKs... I'm using the clearblue ones that tell you your 4 most fertile days- ie 2 "high fertility" then 2 "peak fertility". When do u think you start the 3 day dtd? On first day of high or if peak? If did on first day of high, you'd "have a day off" on your 2nd peak day??!!!

For those with light AF and still before it is normally due. Mine came 12dpo (or so I thought) but didn't get BFP until 16dpo despite testing every second day from 10!

it's from the peak reading. This ties into when IC opks go positive (well for me anyway).

so SMEP you would do eod from cd8, then peak day 1, peak day 2 and day after. then break for one day.

also, just to warn you - you don't always get 2 high days. I've had one, none and 7!

I am READY for this party. Just checked my strip from this morning and it's got a feint pink line but it's diagonal! So that's a silver one, a blurred one 5 hours later and now a diagonal one 5 hours later! I just want a PROPER line!

I am seriously fighting an overwhelming urge to crawl under my desk and fall asleep! Don't get me wrong, I've had many a day where I've been stressed, stretched, manic, angry, desperate to cry etc. But today is a good day (so far - yay!) and I am having to concentrate really hard on not letting my eyes shut!

"if" this is a symptom and not just me being rubbish....surely it's caused by hcg? but my tests are negative, so it can't be hcg?
does anyone know what triggers real symptoms? is it all linked to hcg and therefore pre test symptoms are nonsense? or is it linked to something else?

Re the CB digi OPKs I also had experience of different numbers of high days, first try had 9 high then the peak, second try had no high at all and straight to peak.

I agree with jaykay DTD every other day until first day of peak, and then DTD three days straight so you cover peak day 1, peak day 2 and day after.

This month we managed the two consecutive days before peak day 1, then the day of peak day 1 and then the day after peak day 2.......and, seemingly, it worked!

Jaykay I've been driving myself crazy with the same question - how can I have symptoms but the hcg not show up on my super sensitive tests? Maybe it's all in my head Grin

Thanks guys! That makes sense! Last month I went straight from blank face to peak... But I shouldn't have bothered testing as I was away from home in Dublin so missed dtd on the main days !!!! Will try better this month!

Jaykay I do wonder if early symptoms are real or if it's connected to other things as I had so so many symptoms last 3 cycles and all bfn's!!! :/ however this time I have no symptoms (so far) so I am cautiously wondering...hmmm....but I reckon it's too early at 6dpo to have symptoms of af or a bfp! so I may just be patient....and you all know how good I am at that :/

Got through dpo13 without poas! Partly because I was up most the night with DD and croup. Horrible virus. So, she's been by my side for like the last 24 hrs! Partly because the poas party sounds fun. We may crash the site at like 8am!

D day tomorrow and I'm absolutely shitting it. Had AF cramping this afternoon, but just to remind you all (and bore) you, I cramp from after ovulation up until my period!

Hi all, congrats to all the lucky ladies with a BFP. I'm hoping the luck is catching!
Am trying desperately to be totally chilled this month hence the reason I haven't posted so far this month.
I've been popping on each day and skim reading so I don't get too involved and start symptom spotting like a mad women!
I'm 7dpo today so the temptation is getting stronger. Anyway I'm off again now, might just check in on Friday for the party. Good luck everyone!

I think a lot of the confusion about early pregnancy symptoms is because they can all be caused by other things, including simply progesterone, which can cause tender breasts, for example. It's far too easy to drive yourself nuts symptom spotting, but it causes more stress than it cures.

Evening all. Can't possibly catch up as i've been awol for about 10 days. Taken a break as trying not to get so obsessive esp as we seem to be really crap at dtd in the relevant week.

However, af due on 19th so not far off now. I have left work early as i feel so exhausted and slight nausea. I'm not getting excited tho as i think these are pre af symptoms.

How is everyone? How many bfps now? Seems to be a lucky and busy bus.

Oh yes, had a hold of a 4 day old baby girl today. Amazing.

Absolutely gutted and so fucked off. Just been to the toilet and there was some brown when I wiped (tmi!) and I feel a bit 'periody'. So I guess it's all over at only 7dpo (AGAIN) and the b6 has done bugger all for the second cycle in a row. I truly think it's not meant to happen for me and I feel like giving up after three months. Having a sob in my car.

vjones. I'm fucked off for you too. Have a cry and indulge in what you need to do. It will happen, but its inevitable you feel like that because of the rush of emotions. Try and just ride through it and you will start to feel better soon. We all hit rot bottom, but there is so much medical help out there. Take care x

Sorry to hear you are having the same problem vjones. And i know its really not what you want to hear, but it is still very early days for you. The fact that you are getting regular af so soon after coming off the pill is a positive. Have you considered laying off the b6 and letting things settle naturally for a few months?

I realised today that its over 13 months since i had my last depo jab. So pleased i stopped when i did.

Awh VJ!!!! No way!!!!!! :( my cycle buddy....hugs!!!! do you usually get af at 7dpo?? Or is there any possibility it could be implantation?? I don't want to raise your hopes as it's so frustrating....i guess you will have to wait and see if you get full flow to be sure....awh I really wanted you as a vip bfp at my party on friday!! :(
