Ooooh this is an exciting thread! Jaykay - results? Fingers tightly crossed for you and I'm all a-flutter with anticipation!

To those of you thinking 9DPO is way off testing time, I got a very clear BFP at 11DPO and I'm certain of my dates. Not that long to wait!

VJ: Re cervix, it being hard doesn't mean AF is on the way necessarily. Mine was hard until 10DPO when it noticeably softened through the day - I kept poking at it (sorry for tmi Blush ) cos I was terrified AF was on her way, and I noticed it raised and became softer throughout the day. Low and hard tends to suggest AF, but not always - in my first pg, my cervix was low, hard, and - alarmingly - quite open for weeks.

Someone above said about dreaming their BFP before it happened... Sorry I can't remember who. Just thought I'd say that I did too and I've read on here that a few people have. Isn't that weird! I suppose mind and body are linked.... maybe we 'know' before we really know if you see what I mean...

After a bit of advice ladies, tmi too.....
As you know, the evil with came to pay me a visit in the early hours of yesterday morning (2.30am).
My afs when on the pill usually lasted 5 days from start to finish and about 3 days of heavy bleeding. My last bleed (proper af post withdrawal bleed) also the same, but with cramps etc.
Yesterday was a normal bleed for me, thick red blood quite heavy, filled a tampon within a couple of hours in the morning, then didn't wear one again until overnight which was not quite full. I didn't wear one this morning.
Anyway, less than 48 hours from the start of af, I've dried up!

I took a tampon out earlier which had been in from 2pm to 7pm and it was not even half full and it wasn't red but a light colour. I've worn a pad since and one small dot of pink.
Have any of you had such short afs??
Now, the only thing I've done remotely different was take 50mg b6 yesterday and today.
So confused.

Hmm..sounds odd.

Difficult to say whether its too light for AF or too heavy for implantation?

Don't give up Jaykay.

I didn't get my BFP until 14dpo. I took a test in the morning when I woke up with FMU and it came back as BFN but thankfully I got the result I wanted when I tested 8 hours later the same day. I also dreamt about getting my BFP about 2 days before I actually did!

This is an unbearable but amazing thread!The suspense is killing me! Anywa, fingers crossed that with fmu and a fancy test jaykay all will be well...

mama you've done so well rounding up peeps for your crazy party on friday, i will be there watching and then insist you throw one for me next wednesday...

Also ladies, can someone help if I got my first peak on the cbfm yesterday and had major cramping all day does that probably mean I ovulated today? Or yesterday becauseI felt the cramps? And they were strong too - much stronger than normal!? Thanks x

Thisisme, I did yesterday as I was hoping the bleeding wasn't af and got an evap line, but it disappeared, then at got heavy so I've just poo pooed any more testing.

(Fwiw I also had a bfp dream about 3 or 4 nights ago, I mentioned it somewhere but can't be bothered to look back when!)

Aw jaykay, fx tomorrow is better. I went to three shops this morning for FRER on the basis that apparently it detects from 6miu/ml. I was quite certain it would show up after my silver lines on the IC but there was nothing! I got in a total grump and went back to bed.

Fx you get something with FMU tomorrow.

Can I join choccy in cheering you ladies on at the poas party Friday?!?

Well I'm now on cd16 and still not had a positive opk. Starting to panic now as recently been reading about short luteal phases...my last cycle was 24 days (crazy short for me). I am generally 28-32 days with the odd 26 day cycle thrown in. Knowing what I now know its seems like my lp may be too short.

Has anyone else any experience of short lp's? Or of not getting a positive on opk? Thanks ladies only on ttc#1 cycle 2 so got lots to learn!!
