PinkHat it sounds like you ovulated sometime on the 25th Smile That is quite a peak, unfortunately I get mine a bit more gradual so I can never be 100% sure

Choccywoccydodah · 29/10/2013 19:55

Hindu? Hibou I meant, frikkin autocorrect!

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 20:45

Sorry, TMI alert...

Has anyone else had loads of cm just before AF is due? This is my 3rd cycle since coming off the pill in July, I'm around 9 or 10dpo today, AF is due sometime between Thurs & Sun based on previous cycles. I ovulated on cd 24 or 25 this time round, with the usual couple of days of ewcm then.

But for the last 2 days, I seem to have piles of creamy cm, almost egg whitish but more watery. I haven't had this before. I thought it was AF appearing today because there was so much of it but no sign of her thank goodness (sorry for the dreadful detail!!).

I imagine it's probably just my body getting used to being off the pill but it does seem a bit odd. Anyone got any ideas?

Lime19 · 29/10/2013 20:52

Don't think it has worked this month. Boo. Af due on nov 3. Don't feel any different to last month. Just waiting for af so I can start again. So annoying! Should have started trying sooner, but my positive DH thought it would happen As soon as we dtd! :) hmm well that clearly didnt happen. I just have a feeling that it is going to be difficult for us. My pcos is causing me to be feel very negative about whole thing today.

And I can't help but to compare myself to friends. I mean I know it's not a race but as people at work or around me fall pregnant, I'm happy for them but can't help but think when is it my turn? I'm always last...

To make it worse, it's only Tuesday (roll on weekend) and rubbish on tv tonight! Sad that Great British bake off over.

Rant over!

IBelieveInEngels · 29/10/2013 20:55

Time to get back on the ttc bus for me. Got a BFP early on the October bus but unfortunately had a mc at 6 weeks. Waiting impatiently for AF to arrive so we can start trying again (probably another 2 weeks), so won't be testing in November but will most definitely be DTD and getting out the opks!

Lime19 · 29/10/2013 20:58

Barmy: I know what you mean about cm. I actually looked it up this month. Is it supposed to dry up after ovulation? Does it increase if bfp? The Internet tends to give that old chestnut "every woman is different"... I've had lots of creamy cm since ewcm went away. Only been off pill since August. So Who knows what is normal for me :)

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:03

Lime - that's exactly it! I think anything going seems to be put down to 'every woman is different' and really I would like it all to work like clockwork for all of us when we decide we are ready! None of this wait and see nonsense...

Or just for a nice little flashing sign that appeared after OV - one that says pregnant or not pregnany without tww. I have the theory that I would happily wait out AF's arrival if I just know whether or not it has worked but actually I think I would just then be impatient for AF to arrive to start again if need be!

Sorry that you're feeling eugh about it all tonight. Fingers crossed you just don't show symptoms early, and a bfp is on the way for you at the weekend! Were you diagnosed with pcos recently?

As for only Tuesday... last week was very long, I think this week is going to be longer still...

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:04

And as for what cm is supposed to do after ovulation. I can't for the life of me work it out!

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:05

Ibelieveinengels I'm so sorry to hear about the MC. Sad

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:06

By the way, does anyone else find that the Biscuit biscuit symbol makes them thing of a drawing of a cervix? That's all I see when I look at it at the moment!

Thank goodness Wine can't be misinterpreted!

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:06

*not thing of, think of!!

Lime19 · 29/10/2013 21:10

Pcos diagnosis was 10 or so years ago after irregular periods. They put me on marvelon to fix it and been on it ever since. Came off pill August and thought eek, it's going to be horrid but was really pleased that I had a nice (if that is possible) af after 33 days :) I've been following a lower gi diet and upping my fruit and veg. So hope that is helping. Although been naughty the last few days. I'm at the upper end of normal bmi so need to watch my weight to help my symptoms.

Totally agree about 2ww, it's the not knowing that is hard. Hate it!

SaraRB123 · 29/10/2013 21:10

This baby making is not easy to get your head round, nor easy to do...x

lucyfluff · 29/10/2013 21:10

Hindu Wink lol!!

Ibelieve...good luck for the next cycle. We didnt have stickies last time but hope the next ones are Smile Im still waiting for AF too!!!!

lucyfluff · 29/10/2013 21:11

sara dont worry, we are all here to have a moan to/laugh with/virtual hand holding and hugs Grin

barmybunting · 29/10/2013 21:16

Lime, glad to hear that your cycle seems to have kicked into normal gear soon after coming off the pill. Fingers crossed it stays that way for good news for you Smile

heba1025 · 29/10/2013 22:25

Hey ladies! Wondering what you all make of this....
I had a huge temp dip yesterday(9dpo) and a small rise today(10dpo), both today and yesterday i've had mild cramping and sort of a poking feeling, not really painful but enough to notice. of course I was hoping implantation haha, but I got a bfn today. Any thoughts? If implantation happened the test should come up positive right?

ThisIsMeNow · 29/10/2013 22:33

Heba if it was implantation I'm not sure the hormone levels would be high enough for a Bfp just yet? Fx you just tested too early!

Choccywoccydodah · 30/10/2013 05:58

Anybody up yet?
Luuuuuuuuuccccccyyyyyy!

So ds had me up at 2.30 because his socks had come off Hmm now his nappy has leaked and he's up for the day. Dh got up with him and they are downstairs, but I'm awake now yawn!!

Heba, your hcg levels double every day from implantation, so depending on your test (50, 20, 10 miu) will be when it shows up. The ultra early ones are 10s.
Fingers crossed this is your month and you get our first BFP!!

IBelieve, I'm so very sorry Thanks

lucyfluff · 30/10/2013 06:57

lol Im here Smile morning!!!! awww choccy yuk to 2.30...hate it when they leak! How old is your DS? My little man had cold feet too, I bought him some mickey mouse slipper socks to wear to bed and he he just pulls them off!!! Smile

Still no AF here. Alongside one sore nipple again lol.

onelifeonechance · 30/10/2013 07:14

Lucy, you and your solitary sore nipples, lol Grin

Sazzle - yep i'm using the cbfm, this is my second cycle using it, so far realising chucking money at something doesn't mean it will work!!! But I like it and glad I got it. As I say last month it didn't give me any highs and jumped straight to peak, this month I had highs Mon&Tues, i'm yet to test this morn as currently lying with pillow under bottom, lol Grin

Mama - bless you&your weey trousers Smile Glad you can giggle about it now, hope it gave dh a laugh too! Well agreeing with dh to do every other day seems to have had the opposite effect&here I am post dtd, its like saying we don't have to do it makes us want to do it! Bit of reverse psychology going on in our household without us knowing!! So no idea what we're doing now as it's not smep&its not eod, but it's fun Grin

Choccy , id cry too if my socks fell off Smile

Ibelieve, wishing you lots of luck Thanks

grobagsforever · 30/10/2013 07:28

Engels so sorry to hear about your mc and best of luck for this month. I feel pretty down today as I can feel AF coming :-( . So will prob now be hoping for BFP at end Nov, not start. It's going to be a long bus for me.

onelifeonechance · 30/10/2013 07:39

Aw grobags, big hugs Thanks

Choccywoccydodah · 30/10/2013 07:55

Lol onelife.

Lucy he's 2yrs 2 months, and my little cherub Smile he normally wears a onesie with feet, but he had a onesie with no feet last night hence the socks. Won't do that again!

Grobags, it ain't over yet!

MovingOnUpduffed · 30/10/2013 07:57

Morning everyone. I had my temp rise this morning so it's reassuring to know that after 2 years and a load of different pills (they don't agree with me) my charts look exactly the same as they did when ttc dd. :-) Dp is very excited, it's his first 2ww so while I am trying to not really think about it he is the opposite. I actually quite like the 2ww, its a time when the pressure is off and I don't have to stress about opks and mucous!
