Sazzle I know it sucks so bad :( I'm really hoping you get your bfp soon and I'm certain you will!!!

Choccy I know what you mean, I visited my friends newborn, she was a week old and I swear I could have kidnapped her!!! Made me feel so broody and envious! A little girl as well, we are lacking those in our family so made the envy pangs even stronger!!! It's difficult to stay sane and realistic at times!!!

Well ladies I had a ropey pee moment at lunch time :/ went home for a quick lunch and opk but as I had already went round the shops before this I really was in a rush as I was already well over my lunch hour! So rushed in, put a couple of slices of toast on and ran upstairs to do opk.....was in such a rush I spilt the cup of pee all over my trousers!!!!!! aggggh!!! So had to then change and tell work colleagues I had spilt my soup at lunch :/ I was also even later back to work.....lucky I have a nice boss :) but seriously these moments make me realise how crazy this process can be and how it takes over everything in our lives (including out lunch breaks)!!!

I want my BFP......and my life back!!!!!! asap!!!!

Hi all. CD 23 of 25 here. Just waiting to catch a flight home. MUST NOT POAS when I get in. I've already wasted two bloody expensive first responses this.month! Waaaah. keep swimming your symptoms are random, but prob a virus given the time of year? Hope not though!

I'm sorry to say I'm symptom spotting like mad today Confused .... This technically is our 2nd month of trying we had 1 go last feb and with a bfn decided to wait til after our big holiday last month , but last time I had convinced myself I was pregnant and I have a feeling I'm going to so it again !

Can an expert say what they think of this? Today i'm cd23..fertility friend app has this as my last day in the block of 'most fertile days'. I've done opks on fri,sat and today (did them on sun and mon but they didn't work grr). But the ones i've done have been negative. Does that mean I haven't ov'd? Or should I keep doing them every day?

Do you temp as well? Some people just don't get positive OPKs on some cycles. I'm only CD12 but FF has today as my last fertile day and I haven't had one yet. I'd keep DTD at least every other day and I'd keep doing the OPKs.

Hibou I'd say you may have ov'd earlier than you might think if you're on cd 23 now. Did you track last month?

Last month was my first month and i had even less of an idea what I was doing than I do now! Last month I only got a light line on day 9.. Maybe i am earlier! Will do it for another few days and then do it earlier next month.

Evening everyone! I don't know how in going cope during this progress...I came off the pill Thursday (yes, ONLY Thursday last week!!) and I'm already obsessed with things!! I'm very quick to bleed after the pill - I've stopped a few times in the past for medical reasons, and have had my withdrawal bleed very quickly - only a day or 2 later, and like clockwork, I had the symptoms for my withdrawal... Achy tummy, sicky feeling in the morning, sore boobs etc but nothing has come of it? I'm so confused? Is this normal for a withdrawal bleed? It's not been normal for me in the past...my OH is getting very excited thinking I'm already pregnant but it's far too early to test, and I imagine it's very unlikely...

My lord, if this is what I'm like a week in, how will I cope in the long run?!!

Only kidding!! I think withdrawal bleeds are pretty quick, well going on mine they have been but everyone is different. Grin

Lucyfluff...it's driving me crazy!! Please tell me I'm not the only crazy person here...will this craziness ease as the months creep on?! Will I get 'used' to it slightly?? Crazy crazy!!! I know in my head that it's almost impossible for me to be pregnant, but my heart tells me different Smile I think I'm just a bit confused because I've always had my withdrawal bleed very quickly, and it hasn't come which is weird? X

Sara I didn't get my withdrawl bleed after coming off cerazette for 3wks! With other pills I got the withdrawl bleed in a few days but cerazette seemed to impact me differently. Hang on in there....and no.....if your like me (or related to me haha) then you don't get less crazy or less obsessed!!! :/ sorry!!! but that's the truth! But I will say one thing, I'm now on cycle 5 and I have decided not to buy any preg tests this time and will not be testing early/obsessively from 7dpo! This is the first time I have no/zero/zilch/nada preg tests in my house and so far.....i know it's early days....but so far I have no urge to purchase any!

I am determined to remain relaxed this month (apart from when I spilt wee on myself earlier today, but that was with an opk) and will not buy any preg tests! The GP is however giving me a blood test on CD21 which is most likely around 12/13dpo so if I'm preggers, I'm sure she will let me know ;)

Mama your pee story made me laugh - mainly because I imagine that's something I would do!!! I'm so stressy about things, I've just ordered some opks, but I think the frustrating thing for me is that I have no idea what I'm doing really (well, I should hope I know the 'basics' Wink) but you get me, I don't know about timings for ov testing, or what types of opks I should have, or how soon I can test etc its just so bewildering!!! Bless my OH I cried when I got in from work and he's got all excited thinking this is my 'hormones' ha!! He's just as bad as me, if not worse!! Xx

That's ok imaginary!!! It's funny now! Haha! Can't wait to tell DH tonight when he gets home....he will be having a good old chuckle about that!!!! haha! I was in quite a fluster at the time though....the things that we do to get a little baby....but of course it will all be worth it when it happens....it will be immense!!!!! :)

Sara my hormones were all over the place coming off the pill I was an emotional wreck!!! But def settled after the first af. I use the cheap opks off amazon (one step) they are fine and as they are cheap you can test every day from AF stops! Given that you haven't had AF yet you could start using 1 a day from when they arrive! These ladies on here are so knowledgeable so you will get plenty of advice don't worry! :)

Sara withdrawal bleeds normally happen pretty quick (just like when you have a period when you're on it and don't take the pill for the week in between packets).
Then you will prob ovulate between 10-18 days from your first day of bleeding. Then it takes a further 7-12 days for the egg to implant. So if you came off last Thursday and preggars already, I'd say you're a miracle ha ha SmileSmile

Hindu I'd say you ov'd earlier. You normally ov 10-14 days before the first day of bleeding (depending on luteal phase length), so with that I'd say you ov before cd 23 Smile
It maybe worth you doing opks from cd8 next month if you don't get your bfp this month (which obviously we all are going to get!!)
Sara, I'd say you start testing from cd8 too if you've got the opks handy Smile
