Onelife - oooh goodie we can be cbfm buddies! I too am on cycle 2 using it, but only day 2 this morning as AF is still in the building. I agree, you can't just buy something and expect a miracle , but i like how it works. Last month i got highs from day 6 and then 2 peaks on day 14 and 15 so will see what happens this month. I'm using it as a guide.

Mama i know you like a sex plan so thought i'd share mine! I'm planning on dtd every other day once AF is gone, dtd the extra day that the machine gives me a peak and then continuing with the every od. Only i feel we are always exhausted after the 3 days in a row with smeg with busy work life and having an almost 3 year old around the house we never carry on much further. I'm hoping this way to catch it maybe later and make the 2ww wait just one week! Well, that's the plan anyway!!

Hello im new! I know the bus is very full (27 pages full)! But can I please hop on??
im new to mumsnet and ttc. I came off the microgynon pill in august. And Af (or BFP) due approx 5th November (give or take).
any seats left?? I'll probably be hopping off it early in the month anyway with a bfn! Lol.

Onelife, yes DH had a great laugh at my expense last night!! Haha! I said "see the lengths I'm going to.....pee all over my trousers..." and he said "excuse me....im taking wellmans, eating healthy and going commando!!!" so we were laughing that the next "incident" will be his trousers ripping and he's commando!!!! Haha!!! Also re your "sex plan", it sounds like it works best for you and DH to be spontaneous....so I think your new sex plan is "NO SEX PLAN" :)

Lucy.....you are going to have to speak to that DH of yours about favouritism re nips :/ haha!!! it's so funny as the only symptom I've not had when symptom spotting in the 2ww is sore nipples.....so every time it's 2ww I'm prodding them, hoping for 1 singular sore nipple like you!!!

Sazzle.....oh yes you know I love a "sex plan" must be super organised and prepared at all times!!! Sounds like you have the same plan as us! And yes after ovulation we do tend to gear off, we usually do the 3 in a row, skip a day then once more for luck, but think we will stick rigidly to it and carry on after that as well! Sure we can only try!!! :)

Choccy that's an insane time to be awake from! I'm sure you are exhausted already!!!! Zzzzz

Hmm I'm sure I posted this morning but can't see it now :D

Had a huge temp spike this morning (CD13). Was 35.4 yesterday, 36.3 this morning! Was expecting to ov yesterday but haven't had a single positive opk or any ewcm or cramping (that I always get). Really confused now. Perhaps it was just a dodgy temperature reading.

Thanks sazzle... Ok so. Ttc #1, cycle #3 (4th due in November) and af is due 5th Nov so should that be when im due the bfp?? Excuse my thickness! I thought when U want a baby U just had sex unprotected... Once! That's what we were told growing up! "it only takes one time" the bloody liars!

Morning everyone...thicko question alert (please don't laugh!!!) as you know, VERY new to this and I am by my own admission very impatient, always have been!!! So I'm looking to really help my chances of a quick conception!! I've read some posts on here about cbfm, and am looking to purchase one, is it worth it? And also, here's the stupid question...I've read te best time to test using cbfm is morning, but if I'm peaking or ovulating or whatever, will I be ok to wait to dtd til the evening? My OH leaves at 5am for works so we wouldn't have chance to dtd til evening - will I have missed my 'window of opportunity' so to speak? Xx

Hi girlies, hope you are all ok...amazing to think plenty of us are probably already pregnant and don't know it yet! I'm needing some advice, I'm on CD 27 and last cycle was 31 days (previous ones we 26 and 25 since coming off pill in June) no AF symptoms or any others yet and I'm wondering when I can test? Or should I just wait and see if AF comes? It's my 1st month of trying and I'm scared of feeling really sad if it doesn't work straight away (pathetic) so to test or not to test is the question? And when? I have some cheapy super drug tests that say you can use 4 days before AF due...hope they are ok.

Good luck to everyone, hope we are going to get loads of BFPs this month!Smile

P.s sorry Sara no answer to your question...I am also v new to this so have no idea! My doc told me every 2 -3 days is enough so in that logic if you have dtd before and do it in the eve then should be enough to cover it!

Yes sara whenever you can fit dtd in, any time of day is fine!! :)

Well we are due to dtd today as per smep!! Doing an opk at lunch time( hoping not to spill pee on myself this time) so just waiting on the pos, hoping for it at the wkend as DH is off work! :)

Hi all, wondering with your vast knowledge if you can help me, on day 6 I had ewcm for 1 day after a 32 day cycle the month before. We dtd that day and eod after up until day 14 and then every day until day 17. I didn't have any other ovulation symptoms other than a low open cervix around days 14/15/16. Cervix is now higher and less open. My question is, is it possible to ovulate as early as day 6 and can you ovulate without ewcm? (I'm currently on day 19 so in the tww and desperately wanted confirmation I haven't missed my chance) As another question if I did ovulate on day 6 if I did take a ic would it be too early to get a result? Would really appreciate any words of wisdom, thank you x

Sparky I know what you mean driving yourself mad...I feel the same, I jut want to get pregnant...I didn't really factor in the waiting/hoping/disappointment/symptom spotting...I'm not quite sure how you stay mentally normal throughout! Fx for fast BFPs, or at shed loads of patience and acceptance. Good luck x

I am on 5dpo of my 2ww, assuming I actually ovulated . FF changed it from Wednesday to Friday. We only dtd on Friday as dh was away so my chances are pretty slim. BUT it doesn't stop me symptom watching.

Since yesterday practically living in the loo I am peeing so much or it could be because I was also out every night of the bank holiday consuming loads of vino in case I do get a bfp and am teetotaller for 9 months. Hee. Hee.

Only thing is with my surprise pregnancy ending in mmc, looking back, I started out the same way. Tiredness hit me within days of when I reckon I ovulated (don't know when as wasn't tracking). Then the frequent urination, then thrush. Of course I have now decided my nipples are sore (not actually sure if they are but I have myself convinced).

I am determined not to poas before the party. This from the lady who went through 45 ovulation strips in 10 days. It is addictive though.

Well pee update: I managed not to spill pee on myself at lunch (pat on the back for me!) and my opk is negative but there is a line and looks to be gearing up towards ovulation, I reckon friday is gona be the big day for pos opk!!! Right on target! :) so we shall dtd tonight, skip tomorrow then dtd fri, sat, sun and Tues! Well that's the plan anyway!

Awwwwh we have 2ww's already!!! Yay!!! How exciting! Good luck ladies......and do share all your crazy thoughts/symptoms etc as we just love it!!!!! :) GROUP HUG!!!!! :)

Apparently it's 6dpo in my world- not entirely sure though. Temps are confusing me. Not paying too much attention to them as I work crazy shifts so never taken at the same time.
Just wanted to say that I'd LOVE to have boob/ nipple related symptom. Seems that they don't play any role in either AF or (in my head) pregnancy symptom spotting!
TMI alert- had some weird yellow thick cm this morning. Good sign/ bad sign?!?

Congratulations on not spilling pee on yourself mama. Good luck with dtd plan fingers crossed for all of us that we get our bfp this month. Those with me in the 2ww keep posting your wierd and wonderful symptoms, that way I know we are all going slowly mad together x
