Good afternoon ladies, after a god awful month (and it's not over yet!) The lucky October bus isn't for me so I'm giving it my shot at the lucky lucky November bus. This is my cycle 3 BFP due 25th :D Fx for everyone! :)

Oh help! I'm spotting (more of a pink wipe tmi) on CD12. Haven't DTD for about three days (sort of given up all hope tbh). Is this ovulation? Much too early for anything else right?
I haven't been temping or symptom spotting this cycle to try and calm down a bit, but now my body throws this at me. I haven't done any strenuous exercise to cause the bleeding, but I had a shitty cold last week. I have been ridiculously tired since Sunday but put that down to a hangover (I'm not used to drinking) or the tail end of the virus.
Even though this is my fourth cycle TTC I feel like I suddenly know nothing haha. Waaahh

Leezl have you stopped taking BC in the last couple of months by any chance?

I ask because I am on month 4 after stopping the pill, and had random spotting at CD 17 and CD 25 or so this month, first time that has happened to me. I had a cervical smear test done today, and mentioned it to the nurse who said it is sometimes due to coming off BC, but doesn't always appear in the first few months. I'm blaming mine on that anyway!

No, sorry, I should have added that I've been off the implant for almost two years and have generally regular periods with no spotting.

Hmm, sorry leezl, no idea. Sounds too early for either af or implantation, so perhaps just one of those odd things?

Having recently come off the pill where I had 5 years of blissfully no periods, I'm having trouble remembering the run-up. Can someone tell me generally when period cramps start? Having very mild cramping, but I'm only on cd20. Is that normal?

leezl could it be ovulation related? I remember having this too but not sure if it was around ov time as dont track....sorry not much help!!!!

Hi Lucy yes i'm feeling much more sprightly now thanks and ready to sock it to AF by socking it to DH if you get my meaning, lol And its true, Mama is a changed woman, she has officially declared her intentions NOT to poas, and its our job to keep it that way (until her af is late and she gets her BFP!) Poor DP!! Haha. I'm going to pull out all the stops as he's only around for the weekend and I read it's best to have the sperm there waiting for your egg. So fingers crossed.
I really don't want to do symptom spotting this month. It was all consuming in oct and I was heartbroken when Af showed. Anyone up for not spotting?!

Sorry I've not had chance to catch up with you all lately. Welcome newbies, fx to all. So sorry to hear there's been so much heartbreak for people and their dogs, I really hope you and your families are ok and coping. Such sad news.

How do you not spot? I got wrapped up in it last month too and I'd rather not do that again but wouldn't know how to stop myself . I swore I wouldn't test early but I know I will, I just can't resist!

I'm with you HisLommel - if I have ICs in the house I can't help but pee on them! It's a compulsion! And as for symptom spotting, I have no idea how anyone can NOT do it when it's all I can think about! Some of you ladies have amazing will power - I am very jealous!! x

I have no willpower but my plan is this- I know this weekend will be the time to dtd as much as possible. After that, it's out of my hands! So im going to delete my ff app or just move it to its own page on iPhone so I forget about it and set mysel little challenges everyday. There's loads to get done in the house so that's my starting point. Then in two weeks I'll just see what happens.

Well that's the plan. What will actually happen is I'll get to tues/wed next week and order ic's. DON'T LET ME!! Keep me away from the sticks!! If I talk of testing early don't entertain it!

CD 17 here of a 24 day cycle, I want to test dammit! I think.I'm 7 days dpo, so too early really. DP keeps asking when we can 'run a test' like I'm a piece of bloody software!!

Ok so....ladies you should be proud of me!!! I have officially banned myself from Amazon and any other sites that preg tests can be purchased. So I have NO Preg tests in my whole house I swear that is the truth and I am NOT buying any!!!!! DH actually went on to amazon to order himself wellmans and he ordered my ovulation test strips for me so I have no reason to be anywhere near amazon this month! And I am not buying any tests in the shops either!!!! How good am i? Come on now, pat on the back for me??!

I figured that if I do get preggers this month, the GP is doing a blood test on CD21 which is 3 days before AF is due so it will show up on that anyway so I won't need to buy any tests and must quit this poas addiction right now!!!!! Go me!!!!!!!! :)

Ps is there such a support group as poas anonymous.......

ThisIsMeNow I'm with you on no symptom spotting, let's be in it together! Going to spend today thinking up distractions for myself as I love your idea of having a task every day to keep my mind off it!

I never had the urge to poas in the first place due to the fact I hate rejection and a bfn is on par with that aha. How's everyone today? :)
