Cake, I know what you mean about hormones, and them being much more "stable" while on the pill! I've been ridiculously up and down over stupid things over the last couple of weeks...!

Sorry for my slight rant yesterday! Feeling slightly calmer now. Went out to a Christmas do tonight hoping AF would try to appear at an inopportune moment.. but it didn't work. Maybe I should invest in a white skirt..

cake I'm so sorry you've had a rubbish few days. Hormones are the pits. Glad you are starting to feel more yourself now though.

musical it really sounds like your body is trying to get back on track, which is good in itself. I know it might be a bit late, but would it be worth getting a big pack of IC OPKs if you're getting random discharge? It could be that your body is still trying to get its LH peak and hasn't quite managed yet. I used to get that on my long cycles and would get +OPKs approx once a week from about week three.

Waiting for the phone call from the pharmacy to say my prescription is ready. Their delivery is normally about 10am so with luck I'll get it before midday. Dr's appointment is at 14:42 this afternoon (yes I did question that it was exactly 42 minutes past 2pm!). The boiler engineer is here (again!) so won't be able to collect it for a while anyway.

In other news, MrG had not one, but two emails from his DD yesterday Xmas Shock She has kind of, in a roundabout way, asked for his help with something and we are thrilled that we are in a position to give her this help

musical, I'll get DD to have words. We did do one night of cry it out. She cried for about 40 minutes and then it has been much better. She was waking DS as well so we are now all sleeping much better. That said, I woke last night at 5am to DD crying and DS climbing into my bed. I don't know who woke who! Milk and cuddles respectively got them back to sleep and then we all slept until after 8am! It was amazing! I've not slept that 'late' in ages!

Zoladex implant has now been received. Not entirely uneventful in fact for a long while I thought it wouldn't happen at all but all done now until January.

Geek that's wonderful news about MrGeek's DD! Hope you managed to pick up the prescription on time.

It may be worth the IC OPKs.. how much are they? May have to do some googling. Probably not worth doing anything this side of Christmas as it'll take ages for things to come.. I was planning on getting some IC HPTs after Christmas anyway (as I'll have used my current stash up of tests after Christmas Eve's weekly BFN!) so perhaps then. Is it LH that peaks just before ovulation? (I remember very little about all this, and have never done OPKs!). Could well be though - I keep getting crampy, potentially AF or potentially ovulating symptoms. DH is fed up of me saying "Well, I could be ovulating today..."!

Dino I'd appreciate your DD's words Grin I haven't tried proper CIO with DD, but it wouldn't work so well now she's in a bed anyway. She seems to be going to sleep very well/quickly for DH now (he's taken over now I'm no longer BFing), but we are regularly having screamy tantrums in the middle of the night. Don't mind her coming in with us from 4-5ish, but if she's quiet and good - not screamy! Hoping it's a teeth thing as we have two canines pushing through at the moment.

I'm crampy again today! Think I've been crampy more than uncrampy recently. Poor confused body..

IC OPKs for musical - £9.18 for 50 sticks, and free delivery if you don't mind taking their standard option. Yes, it's LH that peaks just before ov though you'll probably find that your lines fade in and out over the course of the month anyway. Just look out for it being as strong as the control line, and you're away! Sorry you're still so crampy but brooking like crazy this means your body is getting back into routine.

Not me though Wink. Currently turning into a spotty teenager, in a way I haven't for years.. so I suspect AF is imminent!

Hello, just checking in to say that AF has appeared here so surely someone will now get a BFP! This is a good thing for us as my cycle length is finally pretty normal and TTC could perhaps start in earnest...

Hope you are all having a lovely holiday. Sorry that you are back at work cups, but glad it kept your mind off of things.

Goodness me, it is very quiet in here. Well, I'm officially back TTC here so we'll see how that goes. DD is still BFing around 3 times a day but I think my cycle is getting back to normal now. I have some newly out of date ovulation sticks so I'm using them more for interest.

Hurrah Dino! Which CD are you on now?

Think I'm on CD3 though, although AF doesn't seem her normal self so I'm not sure what's going on. That said, after two and a bit years without her, I suppose there is no normal anymore!

I have OPKs, and ICs arrived today, so I'm all prepared for the cycle ahead. Not a fan of manic testing, but thinking the OPKs will be good to give some indication of something happening..!
