Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Cups, how tricky Sad

keep, no idea where AF is! BF between 1 and 3 times a day (bedtime, sometimes nap time and once in the night). We were on just the one again, but now DD's ill the other two have crept back in. I think we'll be getting rid of the bedtime one over Christmas when DH has some time off to help.

SantaMaybe · 10/12/2013 12:29

Your wish is my command cups Xmas Wink. That's a tough situation with your DB. You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family Xmas Grin

Keep I cannot even begin to imagine what my boobs will be like Xmas Hmm

So sorry about the bfn Musical. Bloody AF. I hope she sorts herself out

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 10/12/2013 17:59

(((hugs))) cups what rotten timing, though it sounds like it would be an awkward situation even at best.

cake 2ww already??

musical what on earth is AF playing at? Hopefully all will become clear pronto preferably with your BFP!

maybe ooooh virtual birthday cake! Happy birthday for tomorrow cups

I've only got one day of antibiotics left, so should know by the weekend whether they have worked properly or not. Managed to get through today's two concerts - yay! musical I had five booked but couldn't make two of them so had my last two today. I sing second soprano (not even sure if that is the right technical term - I do the normal high bit while the descants go sailing off into the stratosphere with their notes!)

AF is still in residence, nothing too dramatic but enough to keep MrG uninterested Sad

musicalmrs · 10/12/2013 20:03

Glad you survived today's concerts Geek! Fingers crossed the antibiotics have done their job.

Ah second soprano is a nice part! I'm an alto, which I quite like.. though I do miss getting to attempt to squeal sing descants. I'm accompanying some carols on sax later this week, and get to play the descants, which is almost as good..

I'd quite like AF to arrive now. Realise it might take a while for a BFP, which I'm absolutely ok with some of the time, but an appearance from AF would be wonderful. As I'm happy to take an AF for the team, I would like her to arrive imminently and someone's else BFP to come too. Grin.

Of course, we have Gen's AF that still hasn't had its BFP appear... and the imminent arrival of Sweetie's twins of course..

SantaMaybe · 11/12/2013 08:28

keepitgoing · 11/12/2013 10:15

happy birthday cups sweetheart xx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/12/2013 10:43

Thanks for the birthday messages Thanks

My DH is spoiling me, I'm very lucky.

My DB had his baby yesterday, I feel fine about it today. I was down yesterday so glad it happened then and not today.

SantaMaybe · 11/12/2013 10:46

I'm glad you're being looked after Cups, and I'm very pleased you're feeling ok about the baby x

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 11/12/2013 10:51

Happy birthday cups!! That's great news about your DB's baby's arrival. Now, today is all about you Xmas Smile So pleased DH is doing a proper pamper job on you. You deserve it.

Well, I got a letter in the post yesterday from my twunty consultant. It seems like I might be able to get NHS funding for my remaining prostap! It won't help with what I've already had to buy myself, but I might be able to get the remaining two on the NHS. Spoke to his twunty secretary this morning (who must have swallowed a box of christmas cheer, she was actually nice, and even helpful!) and she will get him to call me to confirm but this may not be until next Tuesday. I'm a bit worried this might leave things too late if I need to get my private prescription filled as the pharmacy would need to order it in, and I have to have my next jab on Thursdy 19th December. Should be ok though, because I'm a Brooker Xmas Grin

Sorry for lack of namechecks, work is cracking the whip.

musicalmrs · 11/12/2013 11:32

Happy birthday Cups! So glad your DH is pampering and spoiling you :-) You deserve it. Glad the baby arrived yesterday too, and that you're feeling ok about it.

Geek hurrah about the funding! How's that happened? Of course it will work out fine- power of Brooking :-)

Cake how are you doing? When are you due to POAS/PIAR/PIAROYC (receptacle of your choice! ) Wink

SantaMaybe · 11/12/2013 12:11

Oh Geek hat an amazing early crimbo present!!! Hope you manage to get it sorted in time for your next jab!!!

CakePigeon · 11/12/2013 12:16

Geek good news about the funding, brooking that it all gets sorted in time for you. Has AF buggered off yet?

cups you totally deserve an amazing day of feeling special, I'm so glad your DH is obliging! glad to hear you are feeling alright about your DB's baby, it sound like a tricky situation. I am dreadful for feeling upset at other people's pregnancy news and babies at the best of times, you are doing really well

musical hope you haven't come down with the sickness? sorry to hear about your bfn Sad

I am about 3/4 of the way through the 2ww, AF due at the weekend. I just have sore boobs, nothing out of the ordinary as I have that every month pre-AF.

Right, really must get some work done today!

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 11/12/2013 14:28

musical about three weeks before my first jab my gp wrote to the twunty consultant asking if he could authorise NHS spend for it as her practice pharmacist wasn't able to. We never heard anything back (this is about 5/6 weeks ago) so I assumed it was a no.

cake Looking forward to your weekend BFP confirmation. The law of boob says 'diffed' Xmas Smile

cups hope you are still having an amazing day and that DP is treating you like royalty x

thank you maybe, me too!!!

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 11/12/2013 14:33

ps no cake she's still here and it's CD14 now!

Squeeee twunty cons's secretary just called me back - I have an appointment with mr Twunty on 18th December to get my next jab on the NHS!!!

musicalmrs · 11/12/2013 21:21

Hurrah Geek! That's fabulous! Grin

Cake I have thus far avoided the sickness! I have bouts of feeling ill, but then recovering - I think it's my body fighting off what the others have had. Hope that's all it manifests as! Hurrah for being so far through the 2ww :)

Very crampy here tonight. AF?! Crossing fingers! Although if it's ovulation, haven't managed to DTD for ages due to illness... may have to pounce on DH... he can take one for the team right? Wink

SantaMaybe · 12/12/2013 09:18

Oh Geek what amaing news!!! What a weight off.

Any sign of AF this morning Musical?

Any more symptoms Cake?!

How was your birthday Cups? What lovely thingsdosnyou get up to?

musicalmrs · 12/12/2013 17:49

No Maybe - no sign. Of course. She likes to keep me on my toes...

In the olden days cramps like that would have been a definite precursor to AF's arrival. As she hasn't paid me a visit in over two years, I suppose things may have changed a bit..

CakePigeon · 12/12/2013 19:24

Glad to hear you're not poorly musical hope you get some clarity with what's going on AF-wise soon!

Maybe I'm adding nausea to my symptom list but I felt just the same last month. I think my body just hates me in the lead up to AF Hmm I'm afraid there won't be any PIAR action as I only have opks so I will see if AF turns up first!

How is everyone? Nearly Friday hurrah!

musicalmrs · 13/12/2013 14:59

Any news Cake? :) How's everyone else?

No sign of AF whatsoever after Wednesday's mad cramps. Hmmph. Either it's waiting until my mad day tomorrow to put in an appearance at the worst possible time (6 students, a wedding and carol singing), or she still can't be bothered to appear..

ScarlettInSpace · 13/12/2013 17:18

musical looks like you might have to wait a bit longer AF has shown up at Chateau Scarlett very unfashionably early on CD20 ffs. From 37 day cycle last month to 20 days this month, I give up.

At least she isn't going to ruin my Christmas! Hopefully I might actually have something resembling a normal cycle soon!

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 13/12/2013 18:22

Oh bugger, scarlett, that's just not on Xmas Sad As you say though, it gets it out of the way for Christmas and maybe it's just your body reacting to you coming off the DHEA. How long has it been since you stopped taking it? Hopefully all will be back to normal soon.

musical brooking like mad AF stays away. Maybe it's still ov pains? How many more carol concerts do you have booked?

cake AF will quite simply not be putting in an appearance for you this weekend. End of. Xmas Grin

maybe how are things with you now? Your bun must be cooking quite nicely by now, keeping on your cooking theme!

ScarlettInSpace · 13/12/2013 18:54

Stopped taking it last day of last cycle geek No idea how long the effects last but I was expecting this cycle to be a bit off...

SantaMaybe · 13/12/2013 19:15

Oh Scarlett what a pain in the festive arse. I'm hoping everything settles down soon. But Wine to it not spoiling crimbo.

Geek how's that chest feeling? Is your singing voice in order now? Bum is coming along nicely. Now measuring 3 weeks ahead, so I may have a tall one!

Musical hope she doesn't spoil your important day. Maybe the mega cramps were a giant juicy egg being laid?!

How's the nausea Cake?
