Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Congratulations!! Lovely news :)
I'm having a pretty tough time of it at the moment and a BFP would help us see a bright light at the end of this dark tunnel!!
Fingers crossed..... In the meantime, my motto is: rather than waiting for the storm to pass, you've got I learn to dance in the rain!
Xx

Doesn't sound terrible MissV, everyone I'm sure has there 'ideal' timing for maternity leave and/or pregnancy. We would prefer another summer baby rather then dec/jan/feb, but obviously it wouldn't mean we'd love baby any less. It's a shame we can't time it hey? Smile

ronty · 30/09/2013 21:30

Congratulations Snowlet and Three! Great start to the October bus, this could be the most successful bus ever! FX!

CleverOl10 · 30/09/2013 21:42

MrsW - loving the rain dancing! I think this could be a dancing bus....

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 21:52

Hi ladies, room for another one on board? I have scones! And is that 2 bfps already?! Amazing start, congratulations!

Could someone kindly add me to the list please? The b6 seems to have messed my cycle up a bit so will give it my best guess and see what happens.

ImaginaryHat ttc #1 cycle 6 bfp due 30th october

Right, gonna start reading back through the thread and catch up with what's going on on the October bus now!

mama31 · 30/09/2013 21:52

MrsWalsh....great motto....I will keep dancing :)

mama31 · 30/09/2013 21:57

Hello imaginary! :)
When you say b6 messed with your cycle what do you mean?? Just I've been taking it just since last cycle and it did lengthen my cycle to 26days and LP to 13days so was happy with that but are you supposed to keep taking it every cycle??

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 22:08

Hi mama!

I took it last month and it was great, lengthened my lp by a day to 11 days and stopped my spotting, but didnt affect ov.

This month the was a different story. I usually ov CD 15-18 but it was CD 20-21. I usually have a cycle less than 30 days so was panicking a bit that I was going to have a 6-7 day lp. I started feeling pre af symptoms at 5dpo but had nothing til 2 days ago, on cd 31, been spotting again since then. CD 33 now and af still not kicked in properly, though have been having worse pains today so maybe by tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to do next cycle now to be honest! I was taking 100mg so I'm thinking of dropping it to 50 and see what that does? Sorry I can't advise you, as you can see I'm confused myself! Yours sounds v much like my fosrt cycle on it though.

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:13

I was taking 50mg just so might continue with that but concerned about it delaying ovulation :/ I suppose if LP is long enough that's what really matters but don't want my cycles being a lot longer, quite happy with the 26 day cycle now I think!

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 22:15

Or the short answer would be:it seems to have delayed ov, increased cycle length, and now I'm spotting again!

jessieagain · 30/09/2013 22:15

Congratulations threefrom! Hooray for the lucky omen bus! Grin

I'm sorry for all those feeling bad with af :( hope she goes away quickly.

Well dp and I have started this months dtd fantastically well Wink my libido seems to be sky high as well (sorry for the tmi) and I am feeling on top of the world Grin. I think the breastfeeding was bringing me down somewhat in this department, so I'm glad that is all over and done with.

Also I'm happy to report that our visitor that originally was coming this week (right in the middle of important dtd time) has sadly cancelled, but the silver lining is that dp and I are now free every evening! I'm sad as I would like to see her, but she plan to visit early next year.

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 22:17

Yeah I think maybe take it for 1 more month and see if anything else happens. I dont want longer cycles either, that means less opportunities to ttc!

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:23

Imaginary yes I think one more month then hopefully we won't need it coz we can move over to july antenatal thread ;)

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:24

Excellent news jessie...keep up the good work ;)

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 22:32

That's the spirit mama! I've been a bit of an emotional wreck last cycle (pretty much knew I wasn't preg from 5dpo when pre af symptoms started, combined with 3x pg announcements/births made me v weepy!) so I'm determined to be positive this month! July antenatal thread look out, we're all on the way!

Sounds good Jessie, tbh I think if you're in the mood for dtd that's half the battle with this ttc lark, helps you power on through the month!

jessieagain · 30/09/2013 22:42

Thanks mama! I've done to the conclusion that my emotional state is ruled by my hormones somewhat so I plan to make the most of the good days Grin

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:45

Imaginary I know what you mean....I'm trying to regain my usual positivity but I really have felt so deflated with af arrivial this month as we really went for it last month and failed :( DH was certain this would be our bfp....and was so gutted when af arrived....just made it so much worse....as I was so upset for him...now he's ok and is getting on with it, I'm feeling a bit down about it. But I know I feel so rubbish coz af is with my hormones playing my mind!

This time next week ill be ready to start all the fun again and DH is always up for it so won't be a prob there...suppose I have to count my blessings really :)

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:48

Jessie I think that's pretty much the same for every woman...... Me for sure!!!

jessieagain · 30/09/2013 22:57

mama that is true but unfortunately I always forget this when I'm feeling low!

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 23:00

Sounds like our scenarios are v similar. Your dh sounds just like mine! I think he's been a bit disappointed the last couple of cycles (although hes not said as much) but then soon enough hes looking forward to lots of dtd again the next month!

LH1981 · 30/09/2013 23:02

Come on Ladies - chins up, legs up and away we go onto that July antenatal. Yes, I'm going to be that annoying pep talk woman Wink xx

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 23:09

Thanks LH, you're right of course!

MundayCakes85 · 30/09/2013 23:12

[Passes LH her pom poms] That's the spirit, just think of all the Christmas announcements there'll be!

SoMuchFruit · 01/10/2013 06:36

Wow, loads has happened since yesterday morning!
Congratulations Three that's fantastic!

I was trying to 'avoid' the 2WW but since Sunday have been absolutely wiped out tired, it was me that couldn't muster any DTD enthusiasm on Sun/Mon. And now DH is away until late Thurs so that might have scuppered our plans. Was out on Sat night to a Rugby do but not home late and wasn't really drinking and had a day out on Sunday but home and watching GBBO repeat by 8pm. No idea why I am so tired. Hope it's not some sort of lurgy/virus. Def not a pg sign as it'd be way too early.

Ho hum. I 2WW it is.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 08:06

Still no af for me but have more cramps now and a teeny tiny bit of spotting so hopefully it's on the way. Am going to try and be super chilled this month too constantly wondering what's going on is too stressful!

How are the other MIA afs??! And everyone else Grin
