I'd love some Rab kit. Last time me and DH went to London we spent ages in all the kit shops near Covent Garden. Came out with some North Face and Ronhill running gear - but would have loved to buy loads of lovely walking stuff AND I want to climb on the fake snow at Cotswold Outdoors!

Af has practically cleared off already and only on cd4! Very pleased about its departure so celebrated by dtd this aft with dh.....who is surprisingly in better form already ;) amazing!!

I will be starting opks tomorrow I think due to my short cycle last time as don't want to miss it this time! Very exciting stuff....here we go again.......

Cupcake, don't worry, your DHs sperm were made 3 months ago so as long as he hasn't been on the pop too much over the last few months, you should be fine

Well she got me! First proper cycle since coming off the pill end of July it was 27 days so at least I know now!fongers crossed for more bfps!

Also does anyone else keep having dreams about babies. I've had this dream numerous times about this tiny baby girl about 3lbs she's bot premature just very small. xxx

English I spend a lot of time in go outdoors and when I lived in Manchester deansgate was a Mecca!! I love walking and we are pretty serious about it so I think it's worth while investing in. Mountain equipment is my absolute fave but it's soooooo expensive!

Internationalove af wasn't fully away either but defo on the way out! DH had no complaints anyway he's up for it regardless!! Its me who thinks eugh a bit gross!!

I haven't had any recent dreams but I remember a dream I had a while ago about having a little baby girl and she was so beautiful I was quite disapointed to wake up realising she was not actually there! But my time will come :) and I do have a beautiful 12yr old boy who is just the most perfect man on earth love him to pieces! So I am already extremely blessed :)

Ok so I did opks 3 days ago when they arrived just to try them out even tho had af lol no 2nd line came up at all which is totally understandable!! So i decided there now to do opk again just to see and this time quite a strong 2nd line came up but it is still slightly lighter than the control line! Does this mean ovulation is approaching or does it mean nothing??

Choccy i didnt know that sperm fact thanks i feel more at ease now! I have learnt so much these past couple of months like that feeling of having a stitch randomly during the day is actually me ovulating!

I get the feeling that AF is on her way. Oh well! I'll stay on this bus until she actually shows up!

English I work in Covent Garden and totally know what you mean about all the outdoor shops (well actually all the shops in general)! It's hard to be restrained in my lunch break.

I started running a couple of years ago but have been properly going 3 x a week for the past 3 months in prep for ttc. I used to loathe running but I'm totally addicted now! I don't run far yet (3-5k) and must admit I've stopped pushing myself as hard since there's a chance of having conceived, but I plan to keep going as long as poss when I'm pg.

Can I ask a question of anyone who's had a short LP after coming off the pill - how heavy was AF?

Starting to think my spotting at 8&9 dpo might have been AF (although it seemed way too light for that).

Me too bloumer! I run 3 times a week and defo have the bug! Love it! But I think I've been less disciplined since ttc coz I keep thinking ill have to stop soon anyway! :/ need to keep motivated until it actually happens!

Mama it prob doesn't mean anything. I get a line all month on cheap opks but the line has to be as dark or darker to be +ve. I've also noticed my cb lines get darker as ov approaches.

I didn't stop exercising when pg with ds. I rode my bike (100 miles per week) up to 38 weeks. Exercise is good as it makes you fit for the birth :)

Bloumer both my af's since coming off have def not lasted long, 1st one was light and only 4 days this ones been here 4 days and looks on its way out now so prob 5 days. I used to have heavy long 7-8 day periods! So could have been ur first af!

Thanks Mama, that's really helpful - I think you may be right. It also sounds like it's fairly normal to have a short LP after coming off the pill, mine would have been 7 days. I'll start back on the opks today (if that was AF then this would be CD8).

Incidentally I had a medium strength line on an OPK the day before I had the dark line - so yes it could mean that tomorrow will be your LH surge. Get ready to get busy Mama! (Exciting to hear that you run too btw!)

I had a thought today - I started taking pregnacare the week before I started getting hormonal symptoms (after 4months with nada post-pill), so I wonder if it helped kick-start my cycles again?

Bloumer you might be right! Get the opks going then and keep a close eye!! Hope your cycle gets bk to normal soon! Those pregnacare tabs might be the ticket too!

Yes I'm all prepped now to jump dh in the morning when he gets in from night shift...not that ill have to jump him as knowing him that will be exactly what's on his mind anyway! And we dtd today so if ovulation is coming we are off to a good start. Dh has a day off tomorrow so could be a busy day ;) but will def be fitting in a run tomorrow aft.....its the best exercise ever I'm so glad I started running almost doing 10k now :)

Hi ladies. Also had shellac dark grey done today about the most girlie thing i fo! Ok so Rab or North Face? I need to buy a jacket that I can walk and ski in! Nothing to report here have 10 days until AF/BFP. Started off feeling only positive but have no symptoms and when I have got preggers in the past had loads of things happening. Btw my sister is a gp and also said to be normal in the 2ww like the consultant said. Good luck all xx

Kind of dtd yesterday but although he delivered the goods, they ended up ...errrm...on the outside shall we say. Was a little miffed tbh but have six or so more days to dtd. He is very relaxed about the whole thing so wouldn't have considered that i might want the goods inside!! So sorry for the TMI!!

Sooooo, relaxed day today. Rode one of the horses and did plenty of horse related stuff. Not much else!

Re dreams - i've had several these last few months. Never in my life before now have i dreamt about pregnancy or babies but its fairly frequent these days!

I don't really do nails. Mine are quite nice and a goid shape and grow well. Clipped about 4mm off earlier, long nails are a hindrence when dealing with horses!

Also - running i do in fits and starts. Not much atm as concentrating on exercise classes and riding the horse. Want to have lovely firm core muscles before gettinf upduffed!

I'm going to stop running when I get my bfp and do power walking instead and was thinking of doing a yoga class for preggers peeps! Like the sound of that! But trying to keep fitness up at present to prep for birth!
