Woah I'm not even on this thread but came to see how the lovely ladies from the August thread are getting on. OMFG international! 9 times in 12 hours. Sorry to sound negative but I somehow doubt that. He'd have a crap supply after even the third go and you must be very sore from all those "encounters".

Just to update girlies I got positive opk cd 16 am now cd 38 and 20 dpo NO BFP AND NO AF !!! So confused right now its strange ! Not sure what's going on but driving me insane ! Have been hiding off here trying not to over think blaming my body BUT took a look at opks and def ovulated looking at pics

Is it possible to ovul and not have a period ???

Well international i cant say i agree, heard about girls who do that but never come across any. Though im 28 nearly so perhaps your older? I suppose i would say he should be using condoms if he didnt want a baby rather than assuming responsibility to you. So...... Yeah not sure really.

Hi all. Hmm, didn't I swear I'd relax more this month?? Bit tricky now that I think taking b6 is delaying ovulation, hence why I've had consecutive days of positive opks now. So now not only worrying that ovulation may not happen, but am still worried about my short luteal phase (the reason I started the b6 to begin with). Arrrgghh!!!!

Hooray! Finally! A positive OPK!

I keep thinking my cycles are irregular but 3 out of 4 months of using digi OPKs I've got a positive on cd20 so maybe that's just how I work.

Anyway... We didnt dtd last night as we are SMEP-ing and it was our off day. Now I'm annoyed and wish that we did!

DH went to work early this morning and will be back about 6pm later. We WILL dtd tonight ........but not tomorrow and I'm gutted about that!

DH is going to a work annual conference tomorrow. He will be leaving the house at about 5am and not back til Tuesday afternoon!

International- what happens if he's not pleased? Are you wanting to have a baby on your own? Is that fair on him? And the baby? Not trying to be preachy at all but its a huge thing for all three of you.

International, I don't want to cause an argument, but have you thought about how he will feel? By the sounds of things you just want a baby and you're using him to that end. Unless he's under the impression that you're on the pill, I super he's running the risk, though even if you've never said one way or the other if you are on bc, it would be fair for him to assume.

If you get pg, there's two ways it could go. You tell him it's a happy accident and he tells you wants no part of it. You are happy, because you got your sperm donation and baby. OR, he could say he wants to be a part of your life and have the rights he's allowed by law as the father of this child.

Do you love this man? Do you know him well enough to want to raise a child together with him? Even if he doesn't want to be involved now, he could later change his mind. After all, he will be this baby's father. And what if, a couple years down the line you meet and marry the man if your dreams. He will be the sweetest man, in love with you and loves your child like his own. And then the bio dad returns to be in your lives. Would you have been entirely honest about how you went about getting pg? I don't see how you could have been, as you'd likely not be going into details, and might say that you were fwb, and he didn't want any part of it, leaving out that you deliberately tried to get pg without him knowing. It's deceitful in e end, because you're hoping/trying to put this man into a life changing situation.

It would be better for you both if you had a frank and honest discussion about it. Tell him you want to have children, but still just want to be fwb. I can't say he'll agree, but it would at least be honest. And if you really just want sperm donations, go out and get an actual sperm donation anonymously. It will PROTECT you and your future baby from any douche-y bio dad situations.

International, I remember you mentioning this on another thread weeks/months ago.

Unfortunately you are going to get a lot of people against you on here because the majority of us are in long term relationships/married and ttc with the person we love.

Essentially you have a fuck buddy.... and you are trying to get pregnant without telling him.
In my opinion that is totally wrong and actually pretty fucked up.

Ok, he hasn't gone out of his way to use protection ...but not a lot of guys do in my experience. That doesn't mean it's ok for you to be shagging him without protection ...with the intention to get pregnant.... Whilst posting on conception threads about the fact you're actively trying to conceive.

I don't know you so don't know the full circumstances but even if you were my best friend in the world I would tell you that you're being an utter prick.

Gilly, I think you're coming down with norovirus this morning, aren't you? It only lasts a couple days, but it sure is contagious, and all you need is fluids and bed rest, no GP necessary.

Still no dtd here and got my positive opk yesterday. I told hubby like he asked me too and nada. He just got wasted on over half a bottle of jaeger and passed out. I wish I had a temper so I could scream and yell at him.

Guess I'm out already. Don't think I'll join the October bus it's just too upsetting seeing everyone at least make an effort to get upduffed whether it results in a bfp or not. Good luck to all the ladies still waiting and congrats to those I've missed
