Disney my best friend has actually made it quite clear she won't be ttc anytime soon so that's ok lol

Further to my sorry-for-myself post earlier, AF showed up about 2hrs ago. 4 days early Wasn't due until Sunday but somehow I just knew this morning that this was not my month. Just had a feeling.

Ho Hum. Cycles are clearly a bit random. Usually 30/31 days but now an again she throws in a 27/28. WTF ?

Decided this coming month to just DTD every 2nd day from when she ends until she shows up again. And I'll work out the days I should ov on 27/28/29/30/31 day cycles and DTD a bit more often over that 10 day period.

Does that sound like a plan ? (Or is it unsustainable/mad to do that? )

Sounds like a good plan. Just wish I could convince DH do to the same! FX October is your month fruit!

I'm also due Sunday. Pretty sure I will be following you off the bus very very soon.

Sorry gilly that you're feeling down. Go and buy yourself a big box of chocolates and eat the bloody lot! That always makes the world feel better to me. I know it's hard esp when everyone else around it seems is getting their bfp, just try and hang in there. I'm a great believer in the 'meant to be' saying.
Everything that has recently happened to us has 'meant to be' ie we are moving for the 9th time in 10 years soon. We lost out on 3 houses, and got the fourth. Out of all of them, we believe it will be the best one for our hopefully growing family and potentially make the most money
Everything happens for a reason, your time will definitely come. Hugs to you and if you want to let it out and cry, do it! I know it makes me feel better having a bloody good cry. We're all here for you and everyone else, that's what this thread is about x

I'm unreasonably sad. Compared to what some on here are dealing with.. this is only my 2nd cycle since we decided to TTC again I don't really have the (might be the wrong word) "right" to feel so sad/disappointmented.

I've told OH to stock up on steak and pasta as he'll need his strength. I think this is an occasion for an emergency cig .. and wine later. Definitely.

Think i have ovulated today but no chance of dtd as won't have time today, did it Sunday and Monday night and tried to entice DH last night but he was too tired and said there's only so much sex a man can take!

Can't believe he was moaning usually he's always after a bit of action!
To be fair he has been working really hard recently as he has a big project at work and has had a lot of meetings in manchester we live in London, so lads of travel.

This is our second cycle trying for no 3 and same thing happened last cycle managed to dtd a few days before ov but then DH was away on business so missed ov. How long can sperm live in the body anybody got any good stories of dtd days before ov and getting a BFP?

Anyway these are my stats:

Lol gin that made me giggle! I'm so confused just now. I'm now on CD 43 (longest cycle before was 37) have pomillions of s and all bfn! No symptoms to speak of but also no sign of af. Argh...why are our bodies so confusing!

Thanks for hugs and giggles. Here's hoping sperm does indeed live for 7 days. The survey is def going ahead on Fri now, but he's not away tomorrow woohoo so we have tonight and tomorrow night to make a baby...

Didn't ovulate this month, which is quite worrying but I'm putting it down to the stinking cold and chest infection I've had this month!

ELR my DH said the same - I'm exhausted can I have a couple of days off? Haha. I wouldn't mind but it meant we only dtd every other day up to 2 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. I would feel better if we had dtd a couple more times at ovulation time. In the 2ww now but if its not our month it feels like AGES until we can try again. Figures crossed for the next week and a half

Hi all. Sorry to hear about people feeling so down. I've just got back from running so feeling a bit more cheerful but my boobies were hurting because I think I'm ovulating. Have got ewcm and had some cramps but opks are a bit hit and miss this month because now that I'm back at work, I can't test until the evening. Am listening to my body though and assuming that I'm ovulating.

vjones I've been doing the same. Every time I feel myself stressed or obsessing about all this I've been going for a run or to the gym, makes me feel a whole lot better and makes me feel like I've got control of something. Just done a 10k and really calmed my mind.
