Coco - I would keeping trying opks tomorrow/tonight. If they give you a positive then (based on LH alone) but the CBFM measures LH and one thing else (I forget). You still might ovulate within 48 hours of first peak and 12 hours of OPK positive (iykwim).

If it helps, my temp show I ovulate upto two mornings after my second peak reading.

Keepswimming I didnt mean your fertile window particularly. Fertile days in general for all women seem inefficiently few and far between to me.

Awh I'm so confused! Thought if opks showed a 2nd line for 2 days I must have ovulated over the wkend as there is no 2nd line now! But would seem that may not be the case!! Thought opks might make it easier but think I'm still confused!! Damn ttc.....why is it so difficult to understand!

I didn't get any ovulation pains or ewcm this month that I know of! Having said that, I had a stinking cold and sore throat so was taking antihistamines and painkillers!

Re ewcm and position of the cervix. Does the cervis drop pre ovulation? I have noticed (since i've been paying more attention) that dtd can be a bit uncomfortable in the fertile week. Like i'm being poked in the cervix.

Sorry for that. And for this.....this morning i had what was like gloopy discharge. I thought at first it was DH baby making goods making a late appearance from yesterdays dtd, but could it have been ewcm? Although it wasn't clear.

So sorry. Just need advice from you better informed folks. I'll go and hide now!

Woohoo survived my first day back at work. In fact dare I say it it went really well. Am sooooooo tired after 4 hours in the office plus commute either way tho. And I have to do it all over again tomorrow and the day after and the day after

I had a stern talk with DPs bits before dtd earlier too and told them that some of his patented supersperm would be rather nice thanks all the same, as 14 cycles is a tad too many to keep trying for! If the goods aren't delivered soon I may be thinking he's bluffing on the male ego front lol.

Spent the afternoon D.T.D as planned. I know this isn't anything to do with ttc but I thought I'd mention it. and it is about babies (well in a way.) I've just been to my local shop and saw the cutest little puppy ever. He was so adorable I was nearly crying. I'm coming up to my fertile period so that could be why I'm getting so emotional over cute little animals. xx

Hi all. Just waiting for my opk result but not obsessing over them so much this month because I can only do them in the evenings now and I know this may affect the results.

Ha ha, yesterday I did my opk and then forgot about it and dh got in the bath so I knocked on the door and told him I needed to check my opk. He opened the door and handed it to me... and didn't respond well when I told him he was holding it by the wee end. Hee hee!!

jaykay i've been getting ovulation pains followed by +opk on cd 18,19 in the past. Since this was the 1st month of cdfm, I didn't quite trust it so used the fr opk. When that one gave a different result to the monitor, I panicked and got some cb smiley sticks too!

It is so confusing!

is anyone using the clear blue fertility monitor?
would you trust the cbfm over opk?

Notta, your cervix should be high so you can hardly reach it, if at all, when you are ovulating. If you can reach it, it should be soft and you should be able to feel a slit or opening aswell. It's closed and low when you've finished ovulating HTH

I'd say from the ewcm, it will start rising up now x

Mine came down 2 days ago, was up for about 3 days

My cervix is soft and low.. Had EWCM Fri and Sat.. When would that mean I ov'd do you think? Would you suggest I have already stopped my fertile days?!

You're not the only one who's a bit clueless exactly. My fertile days are 10th-14 Sept. But last month I got EWCM after my so called fertile period, so I think it's probably just a guide as we're all different. I've just been D.T.D and hoping for the best really. A.F is due 28th so we'll see. xx

Not sure about soft and low as mines always like a nose. Have you ever felt it when it's higher? There is a difference, but I know what you mean by it feeling soft low down as I always thought it was soft in the low position until I felt it higher up iykwim?

I got the ewcm 2 days before mine started rising, also coincided with a positive opk stick the morning after it was high.

I tried the cervix touching thing a few times. Can't tell any difference! Can't even tell if it is my cervix I am touching.

Anyone get particularly moody when ovulating? I am being such a cow today to DP, feels like pmt but isn't!

My nails are too long to go poking around up there I couldn't get by without tampons though, oh lord!
