The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

That's fab yorkie, something to look forward to! I felt so much better after my appt and hope you find the same. All the credit for finding the Berry-seal-of-approval consultant goes to the lovely charming! She should get a commission for all the new clients she may have sent his way.

Kitty our first FC appt is Tuesday, I just wish AF would bloody hurry up and get here so that its gone for the possible dildocam !!!!!!!

Just zooming onto thread with a quick Q, if no one minds: after OV are you normally getting higher BBTs until your period comes?

With the help of Fertility Friend (thanks so much for the reccies on that) I can see I OV later in the month than I thought. But ever since OV my temps have been weirdly high. Is that usual?

RP yes your temps should be higher after OV. How much higher are we talking? Everyone's different but in general mine are 0.5-0.7 degrees up post OV.

Thunder how are the wedding plans coming along. When's the big day?

Sid hope today went well and wasn't too stressful.

I survived my day at work. As seems to be the case, there's always someone who hears your story and can empathise. One of our TAs took 7 years to get pg, it eventually happened with IVF paid for by her Grandma Smile . I talked to her and it helped. I struggled when the bumped woman had a meeting in the same room as me and had to leave the room before I started wailing rather than just the discreet tears pouring down my face that they couldn't see while I was at the computer and just at that moment my TA came to ask me a question and just gave me a big hug.
Bumped woman was lovely, she'd come up earlier and just gave me a big hug then left again without saying anything. I think she understands how hard it will be for me to see her.

And now I'm home with a massive pile of work to do before tomorrow/Monday. Right back into the swing of things....

Feeling exhausted but glad I did it, I'm not dreading the first day back now.

Bunny I didn't think AF mattered for the dildocam? I'm pretty sure my first one was during AF (and there was plenty of blood swimming around for my last one Sad )
You might not get AF anyway.....

yorkie good luck getting all your results, hope you get some useful answers on Monday Smile .

sid I don't know how you deal with all your family stuff, hope this current issue wasn't too bad.

rp what's 'weirdly' high? Mine definitely zoom up to the top of my chart but they don't rise by more than 0.5 degrees C I don't think.

Happy it's going to be a thread full of fc reports next week!

yorkie in hindsight of my own problems I think you're totally doing the right thing. If I'd have done that when I had clomid, they'd have realised in January that clomid was pointless in me and that I really needed menopur injections.

I'm sure they will do dildocam whatever but I just don't really fancy it during AF unless I really have to!

Ooh FC appts all round then!!! Will be nice to feel like we are getting somewhere and taking control if you see what I mean.

Ah right, I may have been exaggerating. Like 0.6 or 0.7 higher but that's looks like a really sharp spike up on the chart.

Sounds like it is normal though. Sorry to be a drama llama!!

Barking, well done on getting through today - hope that doesn't sound patronising. I think it is so brave of you to be open and it may really help others around you. I know that's not your aim but just to say - hugs and respect!

RP sounds like you've got a perfectly good set of post OV temps there. Is this your first month temping?

Did everyone get introduced to the dildo cam on their first FC appointment? Be nice to know what to expect as their letter told me nothing!

happy if only my fc thought to do that at our 1st appointment in sept 12! We wouldn't have waited for a diagnosis until a YEAR later!!!! not that I'm bitter or anything lol

Happy is it your very first appointment? Our first appointment at the fertility clinic after having all the blood tests etc with the GP was with a nurse, who asked us questions and booked me in for the dildocam and the hsg. I had those over the next 3 months before we went back to see the consultant.

Knicker watch never stops then!

I guess every FC is different happy The main consultant in my area covers several hospitals and if my first appt was at another hospital I wouldn't get dildocam that day.

Well done getting through the day, barking. Sounds like you did amazingly well.

At our FC they like to do a dildocam and trial ET run at the first consultation if possible, happy. Sadly, due to my cyst, it looks like I've earned myself a few extra in addition to all the ones on the regular treatment schedule. Hmm

Ugh, what a pain in the arse, kitty. How are you finding life in the Berry Copter so far?

I spent 2 hours today learning how to find a straight grain in fabric, pin and cut out a pattern (pinning is much harder than it looks - who knew?!), and iron fiddly bits. We didn't even get to the sewing bit yet, and I'm knackered. This sewing lark is a lot harder work than it looks! And I've clearly just outed myself as the least crafty woman ever.

I have spent the entire day talking ttcing!
The TA I work with is also ttcing after having had a lose at 21 weeks. So we spent the whole day talking about how crap ttcing is, the shit things people say to you, rubbish sex, insterdiffers and other ttcing stuff.

Hmmm guess as usual everywhere's different with regards to the FC. Barking yes is our first appointment and I think the lady on the phone said we would be seeing a nurse initially so may be similar to yours.
