one what fantastic news! Grin congratulations

onelittlepiglet · 17/09/2013 18:07

Thanks everyone! Still hasn't really sunk in yet. I am only 3+6!

Hoping that the next few weeks go by fast and uneventfully. I had terrible constant nausea with dd and horrible heartburn in the evenings so wondering when they will start....

muzzy1 · 17/09/2013 18:14

I know the feeling one. My bfp was at 3+3! Time is dragging. It's good you have had a strong positive and the test showed 2/3 weeks!

getagoldtoof · 17/09/2013 19:31

Oh my goodness! Exciting! So pleased for you piggy Thanks whoop whoop knew we needed a bfp. Aww I feel more positive about life now X

getagoldtoof · 17/09/2013 19:34

Oh, and I have basically convinced myself I am pregnant this month. Seen as I've asked the universe and all.

I am having twitches in my uterus area and loads - literally loads of cm. So there you have it, I must be pregnant.

Af is going to kill me this month...

Congrats agains little piglet X

BartBaby · 17/09/2013 19:43

Wow congratulations one !! So so pleased for you.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet ladies. I've been lurking occasionally and am on holiday so not online constantly! Grin

Sorry to all those caught by af Flowers

AbiBub · 17/09/2013 23:27

Congratulations one !! Bet you're well chuffed, lets hope the bfp runs throughout the thread now for all you lovely ladies! :0)

Hows is everyone? muzzy how you getting on? miss any updates?

I should be sleeping but tummy pains from yesterday's scan keeping me awake, lets hope I nod off soon! x

fedupofrainydays · 18/09/2013 09:35

Brilliant news one Flowers Really excited for you!

misshoohaa · 18/09/2013 19:18

Congrats piglet! So chuffed for you, that's brilliant news. Yippee! Did u do anything different this month?

Well AF got me 2 days late but on the upside it does mean the b6 lengthened my cycle by 2 days so my luteal phase was a bit longer, although I was spotting from my normal AF day so not sure if that means it didn't quite work 100% but going to stick with the b6 for a while longer to see what happens this month.

Decided to resign from my job next week so looking forward to relishing in my new unemployment! Going to be tight on just DHs wage but I'm sick of being loaded with a full time + workload when I'm part time.

Stressing me out big time and I think that's part of our conception problems too.

Pleased we've got another number 2 success story! Yay piglet! X

2beornot · 18/09/2013 20:16

Sorry about AF miss. Although exciting times in your household - hope it helps you de stress.

I'm officially on 2ww now. Not going to stress/obsess about it and am banning my self from ttc websites (except here of course). Fingers crossed it works!

threepiecesuite · 18/09/2013 20:33

Congrats one.
Well I went to the gp today. She was lovely. She reassured me that regular painfree periods meant I was likely ovulating.
Next step is 2 x blood tests, swabs and SA for dp. I feel happy to have got the ball rolling but anxious.

fedupofrainydays · 18/09/2013 20:51

Sorry af rocked up miss but also glad the b6 is doing something! I too had an awful time at work earlier this year... I do 3 days a week but I was pretty much doing a 6 day week which was insane. Last couple if months it's been ok after I spoke to them about it, but if it got bad again I'm def leaving too. So good on you for making that decision.

2be I too am not looking at any websites or googling anything this cycle. I didn't this month and it did make it a teeny but easier once af arrived.

I just feel like I'm not going to get pregnant any time soon and want to turn it all off and stop ttc but I can't. I'm stuck in this hideous cycle of hope, sadness and disappointment. I'm on cycle 8 now since my mc and its so tough. The stats say I should be pregnant by now so what am I doing wrong?!?!

Haven't checked this thread in a while, congratulations one and piglet. Great news!

I know its still early days for me but I had a read of my NHS board's fertility policy and they won't do any investigations if you already have a child living in your home. This makes me so sad if we do have a problem there's no way we could pay for tests never mind treatment Sad . I really didn't make the most of my ds baby days and really want a sibling for him and to have a baby I can enjoy and treasure the early days. I hardly remember ds as a baby because I was so stressed and it breaks my heart.

pizzaqueen · 18/09/2013 22:32

I meant onelittlepiglet obviously!

onelittlepiglet · 19/09/2013 00:07

Thank you ladies - I really appreciate your best wishes.

I'm sorry AF turned up miss, but glad the b6 has lengthened luteal phase by two days. Fx for next month and hope that leaving your job will make you happier and less stressed.

Fedup - I'm sorry that you are feeling like that - i felt exactly the same right up until the start if his week! is it worth going back to your go and just seeing if there is any problem that your mc might have caused? We had decided that if nothing had happened by Christmas we were going to go for tests and maybe having that date in mind helped me to feel like I had a positive plan of action.

Pizza - I felt the same about dd when she was a baby - I was so tired and stressed and shocked that I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I had hoped.i sometimes felt I was the only mum who felt like that but I've since met others who feel the same. I really hope to get your BFP soon.

We didn't really do anything different this month - in fact more that we didn't really try that hard! My inlaws were visiting and I was stressed out with that horribly (we don't get on and they are rather controlling) so maybe a different kind of stress helped! I was confused about my ov day - or rather ff confused me but actually I felt that I I ov on cd17 but my temp was a bit all over the place. We DTD on cd15 and cd16 and not in the day of ovulation. No rhyme or reason at all...

Liquidambar · 19/09/2013 09:14

fedup I hope you are feeling a bit more positive. It must be terribly hard ttc after mc. My best friend mc at 8 weeks and it took her nearly a year to get pregnant. she was seing a private consultant and half way through they run some tests and everything came up fine. the doctor reassured her it was just a matter if time. I know it's very hard to relax but perhaps if you could do yoga twice a week that might help. hugs

pizza how many months have you been ttc? Try not to think about the treatments right now. plus there are other options before going down the big fertility treatments. Have you spoken to your GP? It might be a good idea to have a chat and see what he/she thinks.

I'm very confused. I'm using dual hormone opk from clear blue. in theory it should give me two flashing smiles(high fertility) and two solid faces (pick fertility). i tested yesterday and it was negative. This morning it have a solid smile straight away Shock I'm only on cd 10!! we didn't dtd yesterday evening but we will do it tonight. I'm completely lost... I'll test again tomorrow to see if it still gives me a solid smile. Has anyone used this opks before?

I'm in a training course all day about statistics. .. i wonder how i will be able to focus Smile

MrsLadyL · 19/09/2013 09:35

Morning all, been ttc #2 for around 5 months now.
Got a little bit crazy at begining so tried to chill a bit more recently. Have used opk in pervious months to get a feel for them and they seemed to be spot on just wasn't lucky enough ( taken casual approach back then) decided last cycle this was our time to try the most we could.
Last AF was 26/08/13 expected O was 08/09/13 but had been testing and never got a positive that whole week had been testing since the Monday. My average cycle is 27days. No was a bit thrown by this ran out of tests. But the following Wednesday 11/09/13 had cramping and know that's far too early for implantation cramps so got new tests and tested the Thursday and was positive! So a little panicked thinking I had covered all bases with DTD days previous to expected O so continued to DTD for next couple days. So my O happened 3/4 days later than expected I guess which is normal so I read. Currently on CD 25 AF due Sunday/ Monday! What are the chances of pregnancy? Feeling deflated to be honest :(

KeepTheCarRunning · 20/09/2013 10:48

hello everyone, and happy Friday - can't wait for the weekend to begin!
MrsLadyL Hi! it seems you managed to dtd around ov so I'll keep my fingers x'ed. Remember the swimmers can hang around for 3 days or so. There are a few of us testing around Sunday, so it'll be exciting to see if there's any BFPs coming up.

Fedud I'm so sorry you feel that way - it will happen, but maybe it's a good idea to take a step back from googling and fertility websites. I found fertility friend to take over my life sometimes, so I'm just plotting temperatures and cm and ignoring all the pregnancy predictor features. But but but..I've still managed to convince myself that I am in for a BFP this month Grin my temps are higher than normally around 11dpo and I'm quite nauseous + my coffee tastes foul (that's a Very Serious Matter for a coffee junkie Grin). So, I'll probably be in for a huge disappointment Sunday morning, oh well...

liquid Hope the statistics course went well. I work with statistics everyday, in fact currently trying to write a paper on statistical methods and I CANNOT concentrate at all. TTC seriously doesn't mix with statistics!

MrsLadyL · 20/09/2013 14:08

Thank you keepthecarrunning X

getagoldtoof · 21/09/2013 13:19

threepiece great news about gp doing tests. Hope all goes well and you get some answers.

liquid did you manage to dtd? Hope so! I couldn't concentrate on statistics for all the tea in China - I take my hat off to you!

mrsL I had that last month, we went off the boil before late ov. So annoying, but you are still in with a chance!

I am poas tomorrow. As you may know I've allowed myself to get completely ahead of myself, and stupidly believed I am, so I will be sad when I see bfn tomorrow. Who is up for a mass poas tomorrow then?

onelittlepiglet · 21/09/2013 13:47

Geta - good luck for testing tomorrow I really hope you get a BFP. I honestly didn't think I would when I tested so you just don't know.

I'm feeling distinctly not pregnant. Don't really have any symptoms at all. I had some cramps when AF was due but they seem to have gone now. Trying not too freak out too much but I just can't remember what this stage was like the first time.

Hope everyone else is ok!

misshoohaa · 21/09/2013 15:40

Sounds promising Geta, fingers crossed for another positive.

Piglet - I think I only had slight twinges up until week 6 when the morning sickness started. I'm planning on keeping a diary this time so I can remember all of the stages in more detail!

In the end of AF stage. Not looking forward to DTD at all if I'm honest Hmm how bad is that! Might be because I'm feeling knackered today - was up till midnight trying to build a website which I've never done before and then DS woke at 5am. Zzzzz

KeepTheCarRunning · 21/09/2013 16:23

with you geta! POAS tomorrow, nauseous and tired today...

MrsLadyL · 21/09/2013 22:30

Sorry but what does POAS mean? Still learning all this
