It will be my third. DC2 is about to start school. TTC was quite fraught after a miscarriage when we were trying for DC2 so I'm trying to keep things chilled but I can feel the nervous shiver and butterflies starting. 7 days until I can test. Who wants to come along for the ride?

We can do it!

Oooh! I'm ttc no.1, 2nd cycle. Veering between impatience and terror! Was on depo jab for 7 yrs and it took 7 months after last one wore off for AF to return, and i'm 35. So torturing myself with thoughts that i've left it too late.......keep thinking that there must be something wrong with me. So was pleased to get 1st af last month, followed by 2nd this month only 25 days later. Hope that means its all working properly.....fingers crossed!! I'm coming into my fertile period in the next couple of days and DH returns from 3 nights away, let the sha**ing commence!! Good luck with your test!

TotallyPaninied · 11/08/2013 20:47

All sounds positive and I think you assume something's going to be wrong no matter what age or circumstance so don't panic, we're all as nutty as each other on that one.

Thanks, good luck to you too... For the sha**ing Grin

Hehehe ....i think having 'gone without' for the weekend should result in dtd aplenty. Or at least a few times!

nataaaaliee · 11/08/2013 23:35

TotallyPaninied · 12/08/2013 14:33

Welcome Nat, sorry to hear you've been through a MC but it's lovely that your excited. I seem to switch between excitement and panic a good 50 times per day and I think DH is worse than me :)

Hiya, I'll join in for the ride! We've been ttc for a week now and I'm using opks every day to chart my cycle, after coming off the pill a few weeks ago. Good luck everyone.

TotallyPaninied · 12/08/2013 18:03

Is this baby number 1 for you jones?

Hi good luck to you all on your exiting journey. I've been ttc since April. I only get to make love twice a week though. Although it can be a few times in the one session. I'm fertile from 15-20 according to the mumsnet ovulation chart. I'm seeing him this Friday so there'll be lots of love making that night. Maybe I'm out of touch but I don't think sh**ing is a very nice word for something which can create a new life, that's just me opinion and thoughts though. I'm hoping he'll stay over and we can also make love on the Saturday morning as well. xx

internationallove985 · 12/08/2013 18:19

Sorry me opinion should have said my opinion. That's twice I've made a mistake on here today. x

EmJay9 · 12/08/2013 18:24

Hi all I'm ttc#1 and also 35 so have worried I've left it too late. I came off the pill in April and my cycle seems to have got back on track. I'm currently half way through the dreaded 2ww with af due next Tuesday so fingers crossed she doesn't show her ugly face! Good luck to you all

VJONES1985 · 12/08/2013 19:45

Yes,it'll be baby #1 for me. Am not expecting to ovulate this month because it's my first one off the pill but will see how it goes!

Sbj86 · 12/08/2013 21:13

Ttc number 1....scared, excited, nervous....just wish af would show up after 8 weeks!!

VJONES1985 · 12/08/2013 21:14

8 weeks? Have you just come off the pill?

Sbj86 · 12/08/2013 21:19

No, had nexplanon removed end of April. One af beginning of June....and nothing since. Except quite a few negative tests!!

VJONES1985 · 12/08/2013 21:27

That's a shame, I feel for you. I'm anxious that I could end up in the same boat as I came off the pill last month. Am on cd11 now and just praying I get a positive on my opk this month!

Sbj86 · 12/08/2013 21:33

I've read some horror stories about nexplanon. Couldn't fault it whilst I had it (no af for 18 months-woop!), but now massively concerned it'll take so long to get out my system, especially since I was on every pill for 8 years before!
Trying not to get down about it but sometimes I just think ahhhhhh!
Sure you'll be fine, positive thoughts :) x

Sbj86 · 12/08/2013 21:36

Anyone who could give me a positive post-nexplanon story........?

VJONES1985 · 12/08/2013 21:38

Thank you, same to you. Wish I could hell but I know nothing about it, I'm afraid.

TotallyPaninied · 12/08/2013 22:03

Oooo lots of first timers. So exciting. Hoping we start a lucky thread and get lots of BFPs.

Here's hoping :-) I'm off to a priory near my house tomorrow and will light a candle for us all

newforest · 12/08/2013 22:18

Can I join? Trying for first baby in September!

VJONES1985 · 12/08/2013 22:27

Yes, hello and good luck! How old are you? :-)

emdottyjackson · 13/08/2013 07:29

I'm trying for #1, stopped pill end of May, had withdrawal bleed, then short AF in July, now it's been 6 weeks & no AF but lots of bfn's, we have just gone through a traumatic event in the family so perhaps that's the problem anyway I'm 30, DH is 32 & we really want a bundle of joy...good luck everyone x

newforest · 13/08/2013 07:33

I'm 31(though only just!!) and my other (he would say better) half is 33. I feel like I've left it really late because my five sisters all had their babies in their 20's. I know 31 is nowhere near past it, but I only ever seem to see teenage mums everywhere. That makes me feel old.
