The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Kitty I had a lovely facial. Was meant to have a massage too but we were so long in the wedding dress place that we arrived late and missed our appointment! Still it was worth it to get the dress sorted.

Thinking of you Pip.

Gillster · 29/08/2013 22:11

Pleased you got the dress sorted Happy, I'm sure that's a load off your mind and you can't beat a spa treatment every now and then. Do you have many more things to organise?

Bunnygirlie · 29/08/2013 22:44

Damn it! I've been busy all day and now there's LOADS of posts! When I'm around it always seems to be dead quiet

barkingtreefrog · 30/08/2013 06:31

Reality has just hit me Boodle. I've got the whole day in the classroom today and after going in at the start of the holidays I knew what I needed to get done and felt organised but I'm already doing that 'oh I need to do that as well' thing that makes the original, seemingly manageable, job list spiral very much out of control....Shock

sid that's an amazing jump forward on the appointments! You'll have a clear plan of action so soon! Grin

barkingtreefrog · 30/08/2013 07:48

Been awake since 5am so thought I might as well get to school early, then started reading this thread and now I'm not early anymore. .

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 08:30

Ah the teachers are going back to work at last mwa ha ha ha

Joins Bunny with the witch like cackling!

Gillster · 30/08/2013 09:19

So just had phone call with the GP to discuss my day 21 progesterone test. It was 31 and anything over 20 is a sign of ovulation apparently. Yay - a small victory! Grin He also confirmed my suspicions about not starting clomid today given that they'll be doing day 5 bloods on Monday and given the positive progesterone results it probably wouldn't make much difference anyway. I'm going to make sure I ask about poly-cistic ovaries during dildocam as nothing was mentioned previously.

happylass · 30/08/2013 13:25

Just rang FC clinic for appointment. She tried to get me to ring back once all tests are complete (they'll be done in a week anyway) but I managed to talk her in to giving us appointment now so we're going on Sept 20th yey!

No going back to school talk please - I'm in denial!!

Gillster · 30/08/2013 14:26

Good negotiation skills Happy, should come in handy for organising your wedding. Smile

Pipbin · 30/08/2013 15:56

Happy me too.
I just texted my head of key stage and asked her how much she had done already. She said that her school bag was still in the hall where she had left it in July! So it mine!

Boodle9 · 30/08/2013 16:09

I'm sorry to have mentioned school, Barking, Happy and Pip! I've had to go in quite a few times already as I'm moving year groups and I have accumulated a ridiculous amount of teaching junk. Need to spend this weekend setting up seating plans and deciding what to do with them on that fuzzy first day!

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 17:50

Oh wise Berries, if I usually get a +opk on days 13/14 but this month it was days 17/18 will AF be 3/4 days late?!?

OP posts:
Pipbin · 30/08/2013 17:56

Yes Bunny.
OV is a movable feast, like pancake day and AF will always follow 10-14 days after. Like Easter is always 40 days after pancake day. So if you OV late then AF will be late.

I think there should be more TTC analogies to do with pancakes and chocolate.

Boodle9 · 30/08/2013 18:00

Perhaps we could change the jizz omelette to a jizz pancake by adding flour and milk?

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 18:32

Lol at jizz pancake

I wonder why ov so late this month, I have had regular-ish cycles for a while now. At least I am no longer due on our wedding anniversary Confused

OP posts:
happylass · 30/08/2013 18:53

Bunny on the few occasions I've OVd late (3 days late) AF turned up on time or just 1 day late. Maybe I'm just weird Hmm

CatsCantFlyFast · 30/08/2013 18:53

Bunny it's a good example of why continuing to use OPKs or temps (even after a while an having regular cycles) makes sense, I'm sure there are lots of people shagging away on the wrong days because they've given up validating their O. And I'm my annoyingly positive frame of mind I'm sure your late O indicates this will be your month so we will get the rope ladder to the chopper ready in anticipation
Ps the sound of the jizz pancake made me heave a little! However thought the pancake day/Easter analogy was genius!

BlindKitty · 30/08/2013 18:58

Ah the good old sperm omelette! We haven't heard from the vomming cat in a while either!! FYI she is here on my lap if anyone needs me to send her round to any inconsiderate people that upset you!

barking lovely thread. It always amazes me that people actually talk about stuff other than periods, shagging and cm!

bunny that happens to me occasionally, it's very annoying!

gillster my fc prefers prog to be over 30 (mine isn't) so that's great!

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 18:58

Yep merk I do wonder if in previous months we've given up too soon!

FX for a bonus shag tonight when DH gets back if not deffo in the morning! Poor thing thought his duty was over lol

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 19:00

I know what you mean kitty Surely there are no other threads other than ours Wink

OP posts:
Boodle9 · 30/08/2013 19:07

Bunny, in the last 12 months my ovulation has ranged from cd14 to cd22! However, my luteal phase (excepting last month's clomid cycle) stayed more constant so when ovulation was later than expected, so too was the arrival of AF. Obviously, Happy's testimony shows that this isn't a hard and fast rule. However, to err on the side of caution and not get your hopes up, I would be anticipating AF to be as delayed as your ov was. Not that this matters because clearly this will be our month and we'll all be on board the chopper.

My temperatures have been confusing over the last few days. Think I ovulated between CD13 and 14 and temp started to climb. I overslept and took it an hour later yesterday but it was up at 36.75. Today it was back down at 36.43 and only just over the cover line. Humph.

BlindKitty · 30/08/2013 20:33

bunny that's coz we've got the best thread - FACT!!!

boodle my temps confuse the hell out of me every month! I should just give up!

Bunnygirlie · 30/08/2013 20:39

I have found another thread to time waste read during a spare 5 mins, I already have the teacher thread open along with the wedding story one, now this one! I will never get any chores done ever again!
