The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Pip, what amazing news! Go, your Piplets!

Haycorn, what a lovely story. It may have made me tear up a little too...

Sorry to hear AF got you & in such a shit way Boodle. Hope you had a good wallow. And onwards & upwards, eh?

rumisyum · 16/08/2013 12:38

Boom, I'd love to think so, but spotting's been an issue for me & the couple times I did get BFPs (all those ages & ages ago) they were months noticeable for the absence of spotting. So... I suppose there's always still a chance, but I went ahead & booked all our next step fertility clinic appointments just in case anyway!

I nearly forget so only narrowly escaped booking my husband in to go jizz in a pot on his birthday. What a spectacular birthday surprise that would have made! ShockConfused

Aquarius1 · 16/08/2013 14:25

Wow huge congrats all the bfp's and eggs and the surprise engagement!!!!! Wonderful news.

Can any of you tell me on what days you dtd'd and how near to ov'g it was? I dtd'd up to and the day after getting a positive opk but didn't manage it at all after that til 5 days later (ie last night). 4 days til af due and nil symptoms.

Who's left hanging around with me? Just had a 12 wk scan shoved in my face by an ex colleague and need to know I'm not literally the only woman left in Yorkshire if not the world who hasn't yet got diffed Hmm

Aquarius1 · 16/08/2013 16:57

Sorry.. Have no caught up on some more of the thread... charming I think I am joining you on the CLOL.
Is there a glum version of the CLOL with chocolate stains on it from those of us who get pre AF sugar cravings?

boodle sorry about AF arriving late and being painful- that sucks. Does it mean your LP is longer though (not sure if that was a concern for you before?)

RevoltingPeasant · 16/08/2013 17:12

rum that certainly would have been a birthday to remember... Grin

Thanks all for advice. I think I will drink one night, at least.

I had a colleague announce her pg today - am really happy for her but she said they hadn't really been trying, just decided they'd see what happened, and then the first month, what a lovely surprise!

Grrr.

Aquarius1 · 16/08/2013 17:18

Grrr indeed RP Hmm

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 17:34

Aquarius, yes LP is usually 9 days so I'm going to take that as a positive sign and not entertain the thought that perhaps I'm completely misreading my chart and ov was later than I thought and LP was still 9 days

RP - I've hardened my heart to people who 'instadiff' and weren't really trying' ... I'm not happy for them - just jealous.
I'm a miserable, barren old biddy!

RevoltingPeasant · 16/08/2013 17:57

Boodle yes sorry, I just have a slight rage on now. Not against DiffyColleague, who is genuinely a lovely person and was actually worried about telling people at work (she is newish) in case it put them out finding maternity cover etc.

But off the back of that, was talking to another colleague who sort of guessed DH and I were trying and breezily said something about 'just relaxing' and 'DTD every couple of days, it'll happen'.

NO, we cannot DTD every couple of days because he has to take a PILL for us to do this and it gives him a massive headache and there is also no guarantee it will work. It is really not that simple Angry

Sorry. It is our wedding anniversary today and cannot discuss this stuff with DH as it will obviously make him sad and feel that he is somehow failing.

It is weird how for men it is such a badge of masculinity. When another colleague got upduffed last year, our boss said 'congrats' to her and then put his head round the door of her DP's office, winked and said 'well done mate'.

I feel sad for DH with other men perhaps judging him for not 'performing', or him thinking that's what everyone else thinks.

Someone smack me, hard!!

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 18:12

Urgh. I HATE it when people say 'well done' to the bloke and even worse when instadiffers refer to their 'super sperm' - it gives me rage! No, it's just normal sperm doing its normal job, you bleedin' muppet!

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 18:13

Oh, and happy wedding anniversary...! Blush

BlindKitty · 16/08/2013 18:34

peasant even I'm annoyed at your colleague lol!

boodle feeling your pain bud. I'll be on my 25th cycle too next month assuming this iui doesn't work I swear its our effing turn next!

haycorn that brought a tear to my eye too. I dream of the day I can tell Dh

So mfp friends I'm now weighing 4kg lighter than 5 weeks ago! Woop woop! This healthy eating/no alcohol/regular exercise thing is working! best not mention the dominos and stick of rock I've just eaten

Bunnygirlie · 16/08/2013 19:55

I don't really have much to say (for once) so I'll just say hello, hows everyone's Friday?

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 16/08/2013 20:15

Just a usual Friday. How are you now?

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 20:37

Hello Blind and Bunny - hope you're both feeling ok! Blind, yes please to it being our turn - I'm dreading my number of cycles TTC reaching and surpassing my age. (And if clomid doesn't work for me, my last month on it will be that month. Meh.)

So, Friday night...considering a glass of wine but my head is telling me that's stupid and I should be trying for über-healthy at all times.

Bunnygirlie · 16/08/2013 20:46

Hello lovely ladies!

I have wanged myself out of my mood, have decided that not being diffed is a good thing as have a big do to go to in 2 weeks!

boodle one glass isn't gonna hurt you, I am tempted myself, might help my achey back! Cheers Wine

OP posts:
Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 21:50

Yeah...the wine got me! Only a little glass or two though! Grin

BlindKitty · 16/08/2013 21:52

Man I could murder a glass of pino but I doing well on the wagon this time so I should stay on! I'm not convinced its actually helping but I'm pulling out all the stops now. Have my first session of fertility accupuncture tomorrow. Have been once before but she didn't know much about fertility. Normally super skeptical about this sort of stuff mind!

CharmingCats · 16/08/2013 21:55

blind well done on the weight! That's a great achievement and definitely warrants a treat.
Yes, the CLoL does have chocolate stains. Had a snuggle with a 3 week old today. She's lovely. Didn't make me sad, oddly.

CharmingCats · 16/08/2013 21:56

Cake for boodle

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 22:08

Well done Blindkitty - staying on the wagon, i mean! good for you!

Mmm...cake. How are you, Charming?

Bunnygirlie · 16/08/2013 22:24

Ooh where did the Cake come from?!? Nom nom nom

Bunnygirlie · 16/08/2013 22:37

CharmingCats · 16/08/2013 23:34

I'm ok, boodle thanks. Just waiting things out ignoring the weird cramps I've been having since pos opk sorry clomid wasn't the answer this cycle. Be kind to yourself.

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 23:41

Charming, I used a few opks in the run up to AF this month. The one I did the day before AF was rather dark. Not positive but not far off either. I'm not saying this to dampen your spirits, but I know Pip has mentioned it too. FX for you though! Smile

Boodle9 · 16/08/2013 23:43

Bunny, well done for refraining. I hope your back feels better soon!
