Ah, I haven't opked since the pos at ov time. I've been having cramps since ov. I thought it was ov pain, but have had twinges every day since. It's probably wind thanks to the metformin!

boodle I'm doing surprisingly well actually. Tonight will be a big test. We've been invited to a dinner party. Out of the 4 couples: 2 are pregnant, I has a baby and 1 is having fertility treatment (us). I don't think the hosts realise hardly anyone will be drinking! Although this will prob be a time when I'll want to drink the most!

Good luck with your acu, I never really decided if it helped me or not but it certainly made me feel happier/more relaxed (and relaxing is good, as we all know !) Awesome work on the weight loss!

charming hmm, cramping is interesting... I did actually carry on pimping with the OPKs after I got the bfp (purely scientific, obviously) and I didn't get a fully positive one until about four days after. The line was always there but very faint all the way up to and including bfp, which was the main reason I was convinced I wasn't diffed. So I'm not sure what the OPKs tell us one way or another tbh!

Only have 1 ic and 1 Boots own in stock though so don't want to waste them. Been getting quite a lot of AF cramps for the last 2 days so I know it's pointless but I'll probably do it anyway!!

Oh the poor lady. I'm waiting for that to be me. Is she managing to do stuff later in the day? She might appreciate the offer of a friend at this point, I know I'd love my neighbour to offer to help (she probably will if I need her actually).

Tally I don't actually know her, they really keep themselves to themselves and she's not right next door, she's several doors down. I'm not sure she actually speaks English, the couple of times I've said hello she's just smiled and nodded. I haven't seen her leave the house since the barfing started. Would happily go and ask her if she's ok but I don't want to step over the line - she's probably still pretty early on and I'd be mortified if I thought everyone on the estate had heard me throwing up! Anyway fingers firmly crossed that it won't be you this time!

Congratulations to all the berries with BFPs and commiserations to the rest of us!
Pre-IVF CD 22 and finally got a peak on the CBFM so will DTD later and not on the flight to Malta tonight as DH suggested!
I haven't found the CBFM very useful in the last few months, it's supposed to give a high result on the days prior to the peak but I've gone straight from low to peak. If I wasn't doing IVF I'd be ditching the CBFM and sticking with the IC OPKs.

Gah BFN. I wanted a ride in the helicopter . Literally DTD over 10 times whilst we were away, if that hasn't worked then I don't think it ever will! That's me out for the next 6 months then. Actually feel ok but haven't told DP yet. Can deal with my own disappointment (even though I'm filling up typing this!) but not his too. Sorry to start the day on a negative, have a good weekend all!

Hello, think I've confused you all by talking of OPKs. I've only used them to get positives for ov and am not contemplating using them as hpt much . The odd thing is that sore boobs, nausea and cramps all started straight after ov and are still v much present at 6 dpo. I usually get sore boobs in the lead up to af, but not so close to ov and the same with the cramps. Not going to get my hopes up, though, as it's probably af. Based on last cycle, the spotting will start on Wednesday 10 dpo.

Still going ahead with FC appointment (when I eventually get all the bloody tests done!) so hopefully by the time we start TTC again we will have made some progress

So in my news, I've turned into a human pin cushion! Continuing to inject myself daily, had a needle stick injury, have had electro-acupuncture today and still have a couple of stress relieving needles in my ears!

The acupuncturist was really knowledgable and knew all about iui/ivf. Felt very comfortable talking to her and she seemed very sensible (despite my preconceived thoughts that she'd chat a load of bollocks). She's actually a trained radiographer so makes me trust her a bit more. Going again on Monday

That sounds awful sid, I'll keep my puker thanks all the same! Mind you, Mr Boom and I had an awful screaming row the other morning (doesn't happen very often, but when it does it's epic) and I think the neighbours must have been thinking some pretty hideous things about us..

Charming when is AF due for you? I'm symptom spotting right along with you. Had period type cramps from 3dpo forward (7dpo now), smelling things that nobody else can, can't stop crying if the mood strikes, and am unreasonably tired. Used OPKs a few days ago and got faint lines, then used one and got a fainter line, so decided to just stop and do an early test midweek next week. Really sick of the constant second guessing, disappointment and then feeling like a fool afterwards, but can't seem to separate myself from the hope that this cycle is 'the one'.

Lady I lost faith in my cbfm also; for 3 months running it gave me nothing but high readings, so I reset it and them this month it went straight from low to peak. Not sure what it was on about bc the IC OPKs I was doing 3x a day around the same time all gradually got darker as the days went on. Will probably use it til I run out of sticks, and then let that be it.

Any fun plans for anyone today? I'm at the science museum in London surrounded by tantrumming children while DH & SKs are on some sort of sciencey sick-making flight simulator.

sid based on last month, which was the only 'normal' length cycle I've had in over a year, af should arrive proper on Wednesday with an advance party of spotting from Wednesday. Heading off to Portugal tomorrow and between the nausea and the aching boobs, the beach is the last thing I want.
I too am fed up of the second guessing. I can explain away all of my symptoms, but it would be great if they turn out to be a bfp. Considering that I'm starting a new job in 2 weeks time, it wouldn't be great timing.
The science museum is great, but I only ever go to these places on class trips or during the holidays when they are rammed. I can't stand the noise. I'm so grumpy on class trips, its actually quite funny!
We're packing today as we have an early start tomorrow. DH has set up an IP camera so that we can log on and look at the cats while we're away. Not obesessed at all!

Wow charming how do you set up a camera like that? I'd love to be able to check on the dogs while I'm out! Hope all your and sid's symptoms turn out to be BFP advance guard. I know what you mean about awkward timing, I'm feeling a bit awful about going to this job interview on Tuesday and lying through my teeth not that awful though really
