Just wishing I came off the pill a few months ago to get my cycle back to normal before ttc! I went to the gp before my hols in june and said I'd be ttc end july/beg of august and should I come off the pill now to get it out of my system. She said no, go and enjoy your holiday as you could get pregnant from skipping one pill or straight away when u come off it!! I know its still early days but if I'd the opportunity again I'd come off it well before ttc as it was pretty nasty coming off it anyway let alone waiting for a normal cycle to return!!! Just a thought! But if u know anyone thinking of ttc in nxt few months tell them "get off the pill now!!!! (And just be careful for few months)" I know I'm being totally impatient tho!!! Never realised ttc would be so obsessive (my first was a lovely surprise so never actually ttc before) its all very technical!!! Hey ho! That's my rant over ladies!!!

So many people around are pregnant, or just popped. Except for me and my friend who are actually trying!

It's impossible not to be happy for every one of them though. I can't wait to meet the little lady that comes out in September (the dress I bought her is her going home outfit proud friend)

So I am ttc#1 Cycle 1 bfp 14th September

Well..we weren't really trying but we did do it sans rubber about four times (yeah I know..four whole times) last month and then I got my period last night. And a proper 28 day cycle at that. Never in my life has that happened before. I am usually 30-35 days. Surprisingly, disappointed a bit. For fourteen years I tried to avoid getting preggers thinking the moment I have unprotected sex I'll be slammed with a baby. Apparently it doesn't work that way!!

So properly ttc from this month. Husband overjoyed at the idea of endless sex.

Apologies if I spoke too much. Very nervous/excited. Slapping myself for obsessing.

Awh coffee I so know the feeling! I've been avoiding it for 12 years (my first is 12 yrs old) but my husband has no children of his own and we are finally ttc!!! He is also overjoyed at the idea of endless sex and has me hounded day and night whether I am ovulating or not!!! Lol but we are also very excited and its hard not to get obsessed with it all! Which is why I am on here trying to get it all out of my system with like minded ladies!! Good luck to u keep me posted with ur progress!!

I'm just coming up to ovulation (prob start of next week) but we have only DTD once! I think I need to formally invite hubby to have sex, perhaps I should post a card.

Planning to buy my first ovulation kit tomorrow-ish. Any recommendations? Fairly expensive stuff!! Who knew?!
