Ooh disney, they both sound like symptoms to me! Are you testing this weekend? Really hope you get your bfp!

mama how are we going to wait another 10 days to test?!!!

snoozysleeper · 29/08/2013 09:32

purple it's good to hear you've had some positive news today, fingers crossed for rest of tests Flowers

SuzB83 · 29/08/2013 09:39

Good work onelife! I don't have any tests in the house so that I couldn't give into the temptation. Did have to stop myself running out to Asda at 11pm last night though Wink. One more day, we can do it!

englishteacher78 · 29/08/2013 09:42

Not going to test until AF is late this month (if it is), too much unnecessary stress/excitement otherwise!

mama31 · 29/08/2013 09:48

Mrsmummytobe I know! This is killing me but I know its far too early to test soon!!! Defo need to wait it out!! Such a long old wait tho... :(

PurpleGeekyGirl · 29/08/2013 09:49

thanks snoozy Smile

DisneyDiva87 · 29/08/2013 09:51

I'm testing this weekend (you're prob all sick of my symptom spotting) is anyone else?

OP posts:
mama31 · 29/08/2013 09:56

Yay disney! Do it!!! So exciting!! Unfortunately I have to wait it out til nxt wkend :( if I can....

mrsmummytobe · 29/08/2013 09:59

englishteacher when is your bfp due?

Eek so excited for you disney!! Fx :)

GinandStripes · 29/08/2013 10:09

Good Luck Disney Smile

So after starting my cycle so positive, now that the "window" is over and I'm into the 2ww I have lost all my positivity.

I've got massively sore boobs, but those have come early ever since we started ttc. There are niggly crampy pains happening but I've decided they are to do with something I ate.

Feeling a little deflated, we dtd every other day but I'm worried we missed vital days.

Ah well, it least it means I can celebrate my birthday without guilt that I'm pickling my insides.

Writerwannabe83 · 29/08/2013 10:23

Oh Gina, please try and stay positive. DTD every other day is very impressive!! I understand though how positivity can turn to frustration at thinking you didn't do enough, I did exactly the same! Me and hubby only DTD 3 times and although i felt fine about that at the time, once the fertile window had passed I felt so angry at myself.

I hope the 2ww passes quickly for you, just remind yourself that nothing can be changed now and all you can do is keep your fingers crossed that you'll get the best outcome from it x x

englishteacher78 · 29/08/2013 10:34

I'm due on the 11th September. Got a lot going on between now and then though. Back to school on the 2nd September. Assault course race on the 1st September (hoping that's not too bad), and then 10km race on the 8th September.
I'm training for a half marathon in November so I'm trying to focus on that.

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 10:37

Gin I feel exactly the same, we dtd all the time and I got a bfn but I know we dtd over the fertile period, like you, so there's nothing more than can be done - it's down to luck :( Stay positive!

Choccywoccydodah · 29/08/2013 10:37

Ooooo Disney, exciting stuff!!

Well done on the massive weightloss girls Smile

Gina, me and dh used to only dtd every other day when we were trying for our ds, and all was good. As long as the little swimmers are there waiting, you've got a chance, keep you chin up Smile

Well, ds being looked after today and night by my parents, my god it's quiet! As lovely as it is, I don't half miss him!
Lovely to have a day with dh to ourselves though Smile. Going out for a meal later, he thinks I'm a cheap date now I'm not drinking lol.

Just had a lovely blackberry (hand picked, they're early this year) and watermelon (because we had one) smoothie. Few too many blackberry pips though!

mrsmummytobe · 29/08/2013 10:49

Wow, good luck with the 10km race englishteacher. I am back to school on 2nd as well but I am hoping that will make next week go much quicker & take my mind off the whole 2ww a bit!

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 10:52

Mummytobe I think it will. I was at work yesterday sorting out my new classroom and it made the day whizz by. Didn't obsess over ttc and i had other stuff to focus on!

mrsmummytobe · 29/08/2013 10:56

That's really good VJ. I am looking forward to going back! There are a couple of other teachers at school though who I know have been ttc so I wonder if we'll have any 'announcements' - I will be really happy for them if they are but I will not be able to help thinking 'when is my turn?!'

VJONES1985 · 29/08/2013 11:00

I think we all know that feeling :(

Choccywoccydodah · 29/08/2013 11:27

My god, we're going to need a new thread soon lol!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 29/08/2013 12:12

Hugs gina I feel the same each cycle... and as the days tick by with no AF pains, I start to get excited. It will happen when it's ready to, and all we can do is dtd at the right time and stay cool about it all (repeat with me until we start to believe it!). Flowers

DisneyDiva87 · 29/08/2013 12:34

Parcel was a knitted superman coat for our dog from my mum and not my early testing strips Hmm

The dog is gonna look awesome though

onelifeonechance · 29/08/2013 12:54

mrsmtobe I'm just planning on using an old Sainsburys test that I already have in the bathroom cabinet from the days when I was on the pill and used to check that I wasn't pregnant oh the irony I will certainly be wishing for a different result this time round!

Hoping I actually get to use it before af arrives as she beat me to it last cycle. But as much as early testing is sooooo tempting i'm with English on this one-for me waiting til AF is due/late cuts out on unnecessary stress wondering about potential false negatives and if AF does show it gives me my answer anyhow.

mama31 · 29/08/2013 12:58

Haha! Disney! Well at least your dog will look cute!

Are you going to test soon as they arrive? Or hold of til the wkend?

mama31 · 29/08/2013 13:07

Onelife you are very sensible! Can't wait to hear some good news!! :)

I'm feeling very hungry today (like pmt hungry) :/

lucyfluff · 29/08/2013 13:15

Weirdest dream EVER last night, dreamt I was married to Simon Cowell...wtf...strange brain I have?! We were on a very nice yacht though ;)

I'm going to test this wkend, I bought some cheap tests today to see as I'm not sure when AF is actually due to arrive. Hubbie is moaning to wait a week. They know nothing lol x
