Good luck Becky: fingers crossed for you.

I'm due on Wednesday (normally have 27 day cycle) but I occasionally run to 30 days.

We'll see.

Are you BDing again yet SOL? (V. personal question).

Sexonlegs · 26/06/2006 15:25

Hi HC, not started bd'ing again yet. AF nearly gone, so we can crack on with it! DH chomping at the bit, bless him!

wannaBe1974 · 26/06/2006 18:28

hiya all

Just a quick hello really.

HC will keep fingers crossed for you this month. No simptoms doesn't mean no pregnancy - I had no simptoms with ds hence why I didn't find out till I was 6 weeks gone.

Well am on cd9, dh had apt at gp today. Just gave him a pot etc so dh will do that at some point and then hopefully we'll have an answer there as well.

Hope everyone else is ok?

Hopecat · 26/06/2006 18:48

Hi wannabe - nice to hear from you. . Glad to hear your DH has decided to have his swimmers tested. Weight off your mind?

I know my posts sound (?) calm, but in fact I'm swinging wildly between being convinced I'm PG, and equally convinced that it's never going to happen.

Bi-polar? Moi?

SOL - we BDed from CD6 this time round - even though I still had some spotting. Was determined to cover all bases this time.

Becky - are you going to be angelic and wait to test?

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 18:52

hey HC

angelic, no chance but the gp made me do it.

dh got stressy about veins.. looked it up and saw link with deep vein thrombosis.. i had a small one about 6 yrs ago. ANYWAY, went to docs who refused to do blood test, said 'most people buy tests you know' (i made out i was fairly new to that scene). anyway, little enocuragement needed.

went and bought a sodding unichem one.. doesnt even state its sensitivity i now realise, and BFFN (guess what the other f is for). bloody gp and he ketp touching my knee.

so i will be angelic from now. with a lot of fffing. :-)

hw r u doing HC?

Hopecat · 26/06/2006 18:57

I'm alright. Dodgy tummy just set in, obviously taking my hope to absurd new levels.

Your BFN may well be a false negative you know - early to test. If you started on June 2nd, you're on CD25, and if your cycles are around 30 days then Saturday is when you get your '99% accuracy' claimed on the packets (yeah, right).

Doc friend of mine waited 2 weeks to test both times. How? How? How?

Had a bit of nipple pain this afternoon, but I appear to be getting that every month.

Sigh.

Not long 'til Wednesday. I am an adult. Delayed gratification and all that.

Sigh.

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 19:07

dodgy tum? bad luck, sip some lemonade

i know re nips, i coudlnt drive over road bumps last month and had never had that

jut complicated by not having had a cycle without pill or iud in years for me, and not sure of this month length. or ovulation date, or if i ovulated even.

just totally confused.

coggy · 26/06/2006 19:07

I'm not even going to admit what I did today!!

.............CD10......self control......

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 19:08

hey coggy

sounds intriguing

do tell

coggy · 26/06/2006 19:15

Let's just say......I can't leave things in cupboards without thinking about them obsessively!!

It could be chocolate biscuits, peanuts or pregnacy tests!!!!!

I can't be the only mad one surely??!!

Sexonlegs · 26/06/2006 19:34

Hey all, sorry about the dodgy tum HC - not related to the awfully late in the evening BBQ I hope!? Hang on in there!
Becky, I agree with the others, that it is pretty early to test, so don't get too down about it all.
Coggy, what have you been up to????

bobblehead · 26/06/2006 20:10

Coggy I keep a pack of cheap opks in the bathroom so when I have a manic desire to pee on a stick I use them- seems I just need something that'll give me a line even if neg!

Choc bisc aren't safe either.

Hopecat · 26/06/2006 20:16

I was like that a couple of months ago coggy (after the aforementioned 'pregnancy with period' thread).

You're not barmy - you just want this a lot.

I'm very sternly telling myself to wait until at least Wednesday until I test. I should be telling myself to wait at least a week, but frankly that's about as pointless as making new years resolutions.

My boobs are significantly bigger this afternoon. Bra-bulging in fact. This has happened before, but now my aureoles have got bigger too. This is new.

Another new symptom to taunt me? We shall see.

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 20:19

no definitely not just you coggy anything half finished in cupboard, or unused, food or the bloody tests, sort of beam signals to me 'eat me' 'pee on me' they cry..

Hopecat · 26/06/2006 20:28

I hope you mean 'the food' 'the hpt's' in that order Becky...

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 20:36

scratching head trying to think of correct answer to that one lol/

Sexonlegs · 26/06/2006 20:38

Oh God, the thought of eating a hpt!
Exciting news about your aureoles (sp?)HC.
How is everyone else?
I believe I am on CD 7 today so should probably get on with it - dh asked me if we were getting it on tonight - God how romantic!

coggy · 26/06/2006 20:45

yes...it's that urge to pee on things........

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 20:46

oh god i read quickly and thought you said which order would i go for them in, ie food or hpt's

to clarify, no i'm not keen on peeing on anything other than sticks :-)

coggy · 26/06/2006 20:46

LOL - When in real life would you EVER admit to having that problem!!!!!

decafgirl · 26/06/2006 20:53

Hi guys, hope you're all well. I've been to the doctors tonight and although she could sympathise, she still felt it was too early for any proper investigations, regardless of the fact I'm on CD50 now. She said long cycles could be due to a number of things and are just the norm for some people. She also said they don't necessarily mean I'm not ovulating, which is good news.

However, she has said I can go back for a blood test when AF finally shows up so they can measure my FSH levels and check to make sure I don't have PCOS. I feel like I'm moving in the right direction but she did warn me that they won't do anything else until we've been trying for over a year (more like 18 months due to my cycles) so I guess its just a case of wait and see now.

I've been a bit lax lately with the old decaf, fruit and folic acid tablets etc because I just thought it wasn't happening but I'm going to give myself a kick up the bum and get back on track! I've just read the lovely story on the other thread about conceiving on day 6 so this month (once AF has been and gone) I'm just going to relax and have some fun!

Good luck to everyone else ttc, my fingers are always crossed for you xxxxxxxxxxx

Beccy1974 · 26/06/2006 20:56

coggy on a parallell website somewhere right now, someone is prob doing just that.

good luck decaf girl .. u r being v patient. i feel like a total plank for being ratty about testing early. I hope you get some good news v v soon
*

decafgirl · 26/06/2006 21:21

Don't be daft! I can never wait to test, in fact we should try to invent a pg test that's 100% accurate from the moment DP/DH is asleep - we'd be millionaires! I can see it now; we'd be on Richard and Judy, Phil and Fern and it would have all sprung from our craziness!

I tested again this morning even though I knew deep down it would be a BFN but I just can't leave them in the cupboard!
