Morning all and hope everyone is well.
The hen night was a laugh, but I am way too old for clubbing - it was soooo noisy, soooo hot and full of ugly men!
Anyway, it's time to say goodbye to the positive July thread, as af arrived this morning- what a b*tch, so I will be hopping to August and keeping my fingers crossed for all of you here.
Hopefuly won't see any of you on the August thread (in the nicest possible way!).
Have a good Sunday. xx

wright4845 · 16/07/2006 11:06

Morning!
lol at hen night story. Couldn't agree more was in trendy bar last night breathing in trying to look marginally good next to waif like 17 year olds and just wanted to go home and put my pj's and big knickers on.
Thanks for advice natty. That's exactly what I'm gonna do. Never expected ttc to be so hard. Going to a wedding next week and fully expected to be pregnant at it. How Niave. have a good sunday everyone. xx

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 14:52

So how many of us left on here now? I have to wait for another 2 weeks until I can test (thats if I hold out until af is late)

SOL definately af? I was sure it'd happen to you this month....

Wrighty that is so frustrating, I really hope af comes for you soon, or you get pg of course!!!

wannabump2006 · 16/07/2006 16:56

Well ladies,am surprisingly calm but.....got my BFP this morning!!!!!!!....can not believe it,but it seems that DH knows my body better than i do!,and the dischargy stuff i had is completely normal apparently(and dh swore i have had it b4 when preg).x
I know i haven't been here long, but i really do wish everyone lots of luck for either the rest of this month or for august!!!(i truely mean that),i know that for many of you it is a long and frustrating road to getting pregnant, but i know that you will all get there in the end......
I hoping that this will be a healthy and successful pregnancy and that i wil finally get to have the baby i've longed for after my loses.x

So to all you lovely girlies i send you all my love and luck for the months to come(i will keep checking to see if anyone else gets their bfp!).......(soz!am really crap at babydust!!)...

Natty1806 · 16/07/2006 17:15

Excellent news

Big congrats and hope all goes well.

Best wishes x

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 17:26

Congrats Wannabump! (you'll need a name change soon).

You obviously didn't see my attempt at babydust further down- now that was crap!

Sexonlegs · 16/07/2006 17:27

Oh Wannabump, that is wonderful news - I amreally pleased for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Hi Bobblehead, how is Canada? I think it is af. TMI alert.....
had some blood this am - proper red, but nothing since. Don't have any cramps or anything, but tbh not actually due until Wednesday or Thursday.
Pretty sure though there will be no bfp for me this month. So frustrating after hours of bdíng!!
I think what makes it worse though is the fact that dd was conceived in month 1, and assumed it would happen second time around sooo easily.
Hey ho.
Fingers crossed for everyone else. xx

pendulum · 16/07/2006 17:33

Congratulation Wannabump, isn't it such a magical moment when you get that line!

I still have almost 2weeks to go before can test. Am not expecting much because I haven't noticed any signs of ov this month- but fingers crossed!

Beccy1974 · 16/07/2006 18:06

loads of congrats Wannabump - v chuffed for you :-)

I wouldn't give up hope yet SOL sounds fairly promising to me, unless this is your usual af pattern that is...

Canada is very hot right now, we're 30+ most days, but have great aircon so not a prob. I've also discovered these great "wading" pools for the kids run by the city, so they are free but have a lifeguard on duty at all times. The water is only knee deep so great for dd and great for me to cool off!

Funny how when you're young the only thing that puts you off sex is getting pregnant, then as you get older its the only reason you want to have it!

decafgirl · 16/07/2006 19:32

Congratulations wannabump - you'll have to be gottabump now!

I'm so pleased for you, well done!

pinkranger · 16/07/2006 20:39

congratulations Wannabebump !!!

Good luck to the rest of you!! xxxxx
Im am still lurking wishing for you all xx

Bobblehead, lol re comment about sex. Where in Canada are you?
Hi Pinkranger, how is it all going?

Nicki10 · 16/07/2006 21:02

Congratulations Wannabump.

Does anyone know is burping a sign of pregnancy? Just looking for signs really but I'm never windy and recently I haven't been able to stop burping! Also need the loo all the time and have a sore throat and cold which I have heard is often a sign!

bobblehead · 16/07/2006 23:32

Hi Nicki I burped alot at the start of my pregnancy with dd! However I'm burping a lot just now as well but way too early to be a symptom (not even sure I'm ovulating) so in my case it must just be wind

Also found I spat on people when I talked to them last time so there's another symptom to look out for!

I am in Winnipeg SOL, great summers (mosquitoes iside) but terrible winters!

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 08:27

Does anyone know what is the first CD day you can do a pregnancy test and it will read ok? I'm normally a 28 day cycle.

pinkranger · 17/07/2006 09:44

Hi SOL , all is well , im 6 weeks today - 1/2 way through the worst bit!!!!! Have no morning sickness which is great but am very tierd all the time!! How about you - what Cd are you on ?

OP posts:
Piffle · 17/07/2006 10:40

nicki I have a 31 day cycle and got my bfp 8 days past ovulation on cd 26 clearblue test (faintline thought it was evaporation line) then darker bfp on a very early test I got off ebay brand was Acon
what cd are you on?

Piffle · 17/07/2006 10:41

pink ranger I got my m/s at 7w+1 day came as total shock. Hopefully you avoid it though

Nicki10 · 17/07/2006 11:03

I'm on CD19 and I OV'd on CD13 I shouldn't really test but just desperate too, I think most of my symptons are more to do with a cold than anything but you know what it's like you look for them don't you!

Sexonlegs · 17/07/2006 12:45

Morning all, pmsl Bobblehead about you spitting on people when pg! Hilarious!!! Me and dh lived in Montreal for 18 months, so know all about the dreadful winters!!
I am on CD28 today, or is it CD1??? Thought af was starting yesterday morning as had proper blood - sorry tmi, but then nothing all day yesterday or today. Crampy feeling though, and early detection pg test showed bfn. So, pretty sure af on her way, and I have jumped ship to the August thread.
Good luck to all.

Booboobedoo · 17/07/2006 13:05

Sorry about af SOL (if that's what it is) and congratulations to wannabump!

Everyone else ok today?

Any news coggy or Natty?

Natty1806 · 17/07/2006 13:34

Coggy's AF arrived over the weekend i think, no new from me. x

bobblehead · 17/07/2006 14:08

SOL I think it would take a couple days after implantation for a pregnancy test to show positive so maybe try again if that was what bleed was?
