Desperate2bmum - I pressume you mean 7th July??!!
If so, yes, CD3 for you...if, however you did mean 7th April....then I would need a CD calculator!!!

Yes, Natty, that sounds fine - are you going to give it another try next month tho'? I am quite happy to wait a month for it.
I thought they worked okay with clomid - the regular CB opk's say they're okay.....but, anyway, I've only got one more course of clomid allowed ......hope it works eh?!

CD24 for me so LOADS of us up at the same time this month - woohooo!!!

muminamini · 10/07/2006 06:47

Morning all!

I am up very early as I just could not sleep - woke at 5 am just thinking...I wonder if...
It's driving me demented, I wish I coudl just stop blinkin thinking about it!

DH and DS are snoring away upstairs bless them.

SOL - sorry to hear you are full of a cold still - major bummer, I found steam inhalations helped for me when trying to avoid using paracetamol etc. Why do you always seem to get these things when your not wanting to take anything.

I have allergic rhinitis and not taking my antihystamenes etc has been horrendous.

Coggy - you and I are very similar in cycle times...CD26 for me today (officially in the up to 4 days before your period is due First Response window!!!but I WILL RESIST!!!!)

Hope you all have a good day, looks like it's going to be a nice one (if only didn't have to work)

Much love and babydust and welcome to anyone new

x

coggy · 10/07/2006 07:25

Yes, CD25 for me but I am NOT getting excited as DH was away over the 'best' times and we haven't really bothered this month at all.
But fingers seriously crossed for everyone else here.
X

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 07:44

morning all

cd23 here - going away for a week on Saturday so will have af while I'm away - grr.

Coggie do they only allow a certain amount of cycles of chlomid for medical reasons? or financial reasons?

Sexonlegs · 10/07/2006 08:11

Morning all.
Sory going to rant again - turning in to the female equivalent of Victor Meldrew!
Fort he past few months, in fact since ttc, I have ov'd (according to the sticks and the pain), and then about 1 to 2 days later I start bleeding. It has happened again this morning and I am so peed off and quite concerned there is something wrong. TMI WARNING...
It isn't even brown discharge, it looks like proper af.
Do you think a trip to the GP??
Rant over, fingers crossed for everyone out there and have a lovely Monday. xx

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 08:16

sol def worth a trip to the gp. try not to worry, bleeding can happen for a number of reasons, and not all of them are serious, but go and see your gp to put your mind at rest

Natty1806 · 10/07/2006 08:26

SOL - that does seem strange, no advice to give sorry, hopefully someone else on here can help.

Coggy - e-mail on [email protected] and i can give you my address and we can arrange for me to send you the CBFM.

Am on CD26 feel sticky this morning and have a few cramps which is a sign AF is due to arrive which will be early than expected (don't know why i use the word expected, i don't have regular cycles) CBFM has gone back to low fertility so no chance i did it this month - not effort + no ov = no baby

Good luck to everyone else - looks like there might be a few testing in a day or so.

desperate2bmum · 10/07/2006 09:24

lol i meant july...dont know why i put april (probably lager gone to my head)

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 09:30

Morning all.

I'm on CD19 today (of a 27 day cycle). I've had a rotten weekend. I had food poisoning Friday and Saturday (at least I presume it was, I won't go into it, TMI and all that) and now I have an incredibly sore throat, swollen glands and ulcers ON MY TONGUE. What the heck has happened to me? I never get ill. I haven't had a cold for about four years. Although, I did spend yesterday with lots of children aged 11 weeks-7years. Cute and lovely, but I think one of the little so-and-sos has infected me with something.

Anyway, I hope everybody is well. I was fairly despondent to see the positive August thread already. Please make it so that at least a couple of us don't have to join it!!

Hope everybody is well out there...

Piffle · 10/07/2006 10:09

i'm checking in and saying hello, hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I'm 6dpo... loving the wait as usual [deeply sarcastic emoticon]
Nothing at all to report! Am temping have had temp jump today but we'll see...
How is everyone, any cycle buddies on today?

Nicki10 · 10/07/2006 10:12

Hi Showofhands

Really hoping this isn't what you have got but I had all those symptons with really sore ulcers all over my tongue and it turned out to be foot and mouth that I had picked up from one of my friends children. Here's hoping it's just a cold!.

I know and some one on the August thread has already had their BFP so maybe thats the secret if we should join both

tryingtohard · 10/07/2006 11:24

anyone got any symtoms this month??

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 11:37

I don't do simptoms any mnore, because I've been through 13 months of having simptoms every month and them turning out to be the arrival of af. pg/af simptoms are actually so similar that imo it's not a good idea to look for them. having said that I opened a bottle of orange squash today and the smell of it made me feel sick, but not reading anything into it.

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 12:05

Hi Nicki10 and Nnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooo! I do not want foot and mouth. It is a cold. It is a cold. Repeated over and over ad nauseum. It was bad enough that at this party I went to yesterday, a little 4yr old had a nasty case of weeping impetigo. Somebody subtley suggested she shouldn't be there, and her mother said 'oh I've taken her to toddlers this week and really everybody gets it anyway.' Nice! Thought that might be the worst thing I could catch!

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2006 12:08

Or should I say 'hand, foot and mouth' before somebody thinks I'm worried about contracting a bovine disease!

Sexonlegs · 10/07/2006 12:29

Hi all, went to the GP today and asked about bleeding after ovulation, and he didn't seem concerned about it at all which was quite re-assuring. I think though if we still haven't conceived in the next few months will need to go back - I turn 36 on Wednesday, and I think they say give it 6 months don't they for us old bags!

Piffle · 10/07/2006 13:19

I do not do symptoms either anymore
I know with all 3 pregnancies incl the ectopic (which was only 2 days after af was due)
I had very sharp burning sensations in my
(.)(.) but I notice I get quite noticeable niggles during 2ww so who knows!

bobblehead · 10/07/2006 14:02

Don't think I've even ov yet, so I'm way behind most of you. Have a 35 day cycle (the last one was anyway) so won't even be thinking about testing for ages! Hope someone gets a bfp soon

desperate2bmum · 10/07/2006 14:09

can anyone tell me roughly what day should i ov? i am on cd4..usually 28 day cycles but this is my first a/f since m/c.
i have brought in a bulk buy of ov sticks just to make sure...im hoping i dont obsess over this but i think its turning that way

muminamini · 10/07/2006 14:26

Desperate to be mum - I have read that youov is between day 10 and 14 in general but I have to say that is not a hard and fast rule - everyone is different (thats what I have learned from being on here.

SOL - glad you got sorted and talked to your gp. Show of Hands I agree entirely with Nikki that it sounds alot like hand foot and mouth (we have had loads of people come into surgery with it at the mo!). It is contagius but there is not alot you can take - it just has to pass it's course. Take Paracetamol for the pain love and sending you best wishes.

Coggy - I bet this will be your month - they say it happens when you least expect it!

I just know I'm going to end up buying a first response test today - I've thought about nothing else all day, I know its early (day 26) but I'm obsessed and I don't mind admitting it. At least if it's a BFN it will stop me getting all optimistic over the next three days and then being even more gutted when af comes. I hate this!!!!!

Sorry - rant proramme terminating....

desperate2bmum · 10/07/2006 15:14

thanks muminamini i have brought some ov sticks anyway just to double check www.babymad.co.uk is a great site i have found

Piffle · 10/07/2006 15:14

muminamini
If you must test early buy the cheap internet ones form ebay
Then you can use loads and it only costs a fiver

tryingtohard · 10/07/2006 15:55

sorry forgot to say had changed my name!

Piffle, what happened to the doc says no temping?

wannbe, i am hope full for you!

Sexonlegs glad you went to gp

muminamini, wait to test

wannaBe1974 · 10/07/2006 17:03

hiya all well looks like I'll be heading off to the august thread. Went to loo (tmi) and discovered small amount of blood so looks like af on her way. Hmmm maybe I didn't ovulate after all then as only on cd23 and always have af 14 days after ov. Was sure I had ov'ed... ah well, another month another af, 14 months of trying and counting ...

coggy · 10/07/2006 18:43

WannaBe - any more blood yet?
Implantation??!! I had that on CD24 with ds.
They only let you have 6 months of clomid where I live. I think you should only have up to 12 months (although I have read someone on here had 13 and fell pg!) because of a higher risk of cancer. I guess they only like to give us 6 months incase we go onto IUI etc. which uses it again.

MIAM - I do hope your right but I really am doubtful.

Natty - I will email you directly!

Piffle - I love your boobs!! Not something I thought I would ever say to anyone I have to admit!!! They made me LOL!
