Evening ladies. How are we all? Hot enough for you? I am so tired from the heat and really need to get down to bdíng, but isn't it hard work when it is so hot!

A quick question. According to the charts, I should be ovíng today CD15, but having peed on a stick, nothing doing. Last month, it suggested I was going to ov on CD19 or 20. Do ov dates vary like this?

I am sure there has been stuff about this before on threads, but I am too lazy to look! Sorry!!

muminamini · 05/07/2006 08:59

Hi SOL

I read on the net last night that sometimes we don't OV every month and you can ov at differing times.

I know what you mean about the heat - it is exhausting...I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. I'm feeling a bit low to be honest and very emotional, I've cried lots over silly things over the past 4 or 5 days.

I am on CD 21 today (I miscalculated the other day!!) have had very sore boobs indeed for the past 2 days. They have been throbbing and I'm actually worried that if I am not PG this month there must be something wrong with me as they are agony and I have never had that before (didn't get it when pg with DS).

I am a hormonal emotional wreck, had a terrible day with DS yesterday. I just had no patience at all, I found it exhausting and that is just not like me...I started panicking about what I would do if I felt like this with one why am I going for 2...

Hope everyone else is feeling ok, anyone got any other interesting symptoms??

Sexonlegs · 05/07/2006 10:38

Hi MIAM, that all sounds interesting - the sore boobs thing and the emotions running riot. Sorry to hear they are v painful though.
I have had no symptoms at all, but tbh if I don't ov until CD19 or 20 (on CD16 today) then won't have any. Feeling snappy though, but I think that is through heat and tiredeness. Dd keeps waking up early (well only 6.30), but that is early for her and us!
I too sometimes think, can I deal with 2. Dd is 3 now, and things are getting better, and by the time we conceive she could be 10 the rate we are going!!!
Anyway, keep your chin up, and come and rant whenever you like. Thank God it is cooler today eh!
Did manage to bd last night even though it was so hot!! Got to keep at it.
Spk later x

Awfully sorry girls I think this is all going to be TMI but just want to check.

About two days before my AF comes every month I get the sticky blobby discharge which I always thought was the egg actually coming through and out but through looking into it more I have just read this is a sign that you are OVing.

Isn't this a bit late to OV as it is always a sign that AF is imminent?. DOes this mean it will be impossible to concieve?

coggy · 05/07/2006 13:35

If you are ov it wouldn't be sticky blobby stuff...it would be stretchy see-through stuff.

Lots of peole have sticky cloudy stuff a few days before AF but it's the clear - egg-white mucus which indictes ovulation (EWCM).
HTH

wannaBe1974 · 05/07/2006 13:45

hiya all

Nicki10 how long is your cycle usually? ewcm (eggwhite cervical mucous) can be produced at any time of the month but doesn't always mean ovulation. Also it's not uncommon to have a discharge before af as generally there is a lot of mucous discharge during af as well - it's just the lining of the uterous coming away. Try not to worry .

Well we've had another setback to finding out where the problem lies. DH was going to take his sample up to the hospital on friday afternoon as he finishs work early on Friday and gp had told him that the lab is open till 5:30. Perfect opportunity to go and do sample. dh works in London so commutes from here so takes him 1.5 hours to get to work and same back again so going up to hospital in morning not an option. I've just rung the hospital to double check the timing and she said that all samples have to be dropped off between 8:30 and 11:30 AM. honestly am totally fed up with it all now. First I didn't have a period for two months and gp told me I was pregnant, then did blood test to confirm as all tests were bfn, hospital don't do blood pregnancy tests so was tol to do another urine test which was bfn, then dh went to gp and got a sample pot and now this. Believe in fate? well I think that maybe I'm just not meant to know if/what the problem is. DH said he'll take a day off sick to go to the hospital but that's hardly doable is it. Think the gods are just trying to tell me something, lol.

Sorry for rant

Trace have you had your ov test results back yet? and have you ov'ed this month?

Peachy know you're lurking so how's things with you? sorry to hear about the cp vax you have to have, hope morning sickness isn't too bad

coggy · 05/07/2006 13:51

WannBe
Sometimes it does feel that everythings against you doesn't it?
Sorry to hear you're still having loads of hasstle.

wannaBe1974 · 05/07/2006 14:00

I've been saying for so long now that I think it's just not meant to be and I need to let it go, but there's always this thing at the back of my mind that says we should at least find out why I've not been able to fall pg. But maybe the powers that be really are just telling me that it's time I just let it go. after all what we don't know can't hurt right? I've been feeling guilty about wanting dh to be tested as am afraid he'll feel guilty if he has a problem and I really don't want him to think it's his fault. Just wish I could let it go and accept that I'm not going to have another baby, but I guess I just need someone with knowledge to tell me I'm not going to have another baby so that I can put it behind me.

Natty1806 · 05/07/2006 14:03

Hi Wannabe

We had trouble when DP had to do his test as well, like you on the form it says they are open to 5.30 but when we rang them, all test have to be in by 10 and you have to get it there within the hour. So DP and i had a day off in the end and he did his test then we drove to the hospital and i waited outside while he ran in, parking was a nightmare and if he had gone alone it wouldn't have been within the hour.

Hope you get round to doing it soon and then that will be one thing off your mind.

Some days i think of giving up all together and really do wounder if i will ever get there.

peachygirl · 05/07/2006 14:54

Hi wannabe What a pain for you and DH, alas I think it's probably how they do things nowadays with set times for things like this. I'm fine, not feeling too queasy at all this week. I had my jab earlier and so just have a very sore bum. I had it all in one go in one bum cheek!
I'm also -ve for toxoplasmosis so have to be careful with the cat but Dh has taken over the litter tray (which she is not using very much in theis weather anyway)
I also have some of that antibac hand stuff which I bought for my classes trip to the farm so will liberally uses that!hopefully I'll catch you and trace soon -love to coggy too!

Nicki10 · 05/07/2006 17:45

Thanks for your information I will keep going with the BDing then!

Sorry to hear that Wannabe must be V frustrating

trace2 · 05/07/2006 17:57

Piffle · 05/07/2006 18:08

Hi all
Had my fertility clinic appt tpday and have been put on low dose Clomid in order to kick start things, even though consultant says he thinks I am ovulating.
Am on cd 20 so obv have to wait until next cycle
Also told me to chuck away thermometer

coggy · 05/07/2006 19:12

Nice to hear from you Peachy
Glad you are doing well now.

Trace - I bet your dh was excited to have exceptional sperm!! LOL I think all men would love that!
My DH was rather upset the first test because he was told that they were swimming in circles and with no real purpose!!!
Shame!!!!

Better the next time tho....so he perked up!! (literally!!!LOL)

bobblehead · 05/07/2006 19:13

Can I just ask a TMI CM question? I have quite alot of almost ew like mucus, but I think it is still abit thick. It is a little cloudy and does stretch a few inches, but then rmains stuck to one finger!( I did say tmi!!!!). Is this fertile or not quite there yet? I'm sure it was less "sticky" last time I was ttc but that was a while ago now!

coggy · 05/07/2006 19:16

LOL at the thought of us lot all examining our knickers and stretching that mucus!!!!!!!!

peachygirl · 05/07/2006 19:16

not quite there yet. it needs to really stretch and be slippy. Go look at the site I keep posting go to indicators there are pictures!

coggy · 05/07/2006 19:17

Sorry Bobblehead...not much help...too busy PMSL!!!!

(not at you)

coggy · 05/07/2006 19:19

Peachy - LOL at those pictures...not looked on that site before so I've saved it to my favourites under 'Peachy's Page' for further viewing.

Bit taken aback by the multiple rabbits!!!!!

trace2 · 05/07/2006 19:20

coggy, yes he was jumping up and down, until i reminded him how i felt about not ovulating

peachygirl · 05/07/2006 19:21

hmmm yes, not really sure what thats all about

trace2 · 05/07/2006 19:22

coggy · 05/07/2006 19:24

Shame for you Trace - they take it as such a sign of 'man-ness' don't they??!!

Peachy - just been on the rabbit bit - VERY interesting. I've got Zita Jone's book which is very good but those coloured diagrams on that site are really clear and easy. Well done!! Another successful Peachy link!!
