LOL at the doggy - leg slipping over thing.

Think some of us might end up in A& E with all this leg wiggling business - i tried it yesterday.

How long do you lie there, i managed 10 mins, is this enough????/

Beccy1974 · 03/07/2006 20:55

sos 2 kp posting stuff twice btw - dodgy pc

peachygirl · 03/07/2006 20:56

Hopecat · 03/07/2006 21:53

LOL Gelfling.

I flipped and wiggled.

Sexonlegs · 03/07/2006 21:53

Beccy, I kind of think I might tempt fate by starting the August thread, and have my af show up this month! It is my bday this month, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get the bday present of a bfp!! Haven't had any more trips in to the woods since last week. The mozzy bites have finally stopped itching though!!
Natty, good question. How long should you lie there!?

ruthlouise · 03/07/2006 21:58

Hi all,

Congratulations pinkranger. Well jealous What's your due date?

Can I pick your collective brains please?
I have a 24 day cycle and am using OV sticks. How common is a short cycle? Does it indicate any problems? I had been testing from day 11 but am now going to start from day 6-7 I think. does anyone else use OV sticks and get a positive that early? I've never had a dark second line but think that's cos I've probably been testing too late and catching the tail end and last 2 months haven't had a positive at all.

thanks

muminamini · 03/07/2006 22:07

Hi SOL

I thought I read somewhere that you can only conceive in approx a 4 day window? and approx day 10 - 14 (I'm on day 22) I best keep trying then just in case!
thanks

muminamini · 03/07/2006 22:10

Oh Pinkranger - fantastic!!!!
Delighted for you love
xxx

Sexonlegs · 03/07/2006 22:25

Hi MIAM, I am pretty sure there was another thread somewhere and people were saying they conceived on all manner of days - some really early and some really late on in their cycle. So, happy b'ding!!!

coggy · 03/07/2006 23:20

Ruthlouise - it's probably worth testing earlier. I read in fertilitly books that some ladies with difficulties in ttc were seen by Zita West and she helped them to identify that they were actually ov on about CD5 (or so).
Their EWCM was mixed in with AF so they didn't think they were ov at all. One fell pg very quickly after that apparently.

It's definitely worth testing earlier to get an idea. I had the opposite and tested later and found I ov around CD18 or 19!!!

bobblehead · 04/07/2006 02:05

CONGRATULATIONS PINKRANGER!!!!{grin]

I was second to post on this thread, does that mean I'm next?

SOL maybe we'll be able to have a joint b'day/bfp celebration!

Natty1806 · 04/07/2006 07:44

Morning All

Having a down day today (i know it is only 7.30 am ish) have been doing temps but really can't see that i have or will ovulate.

Have also been using CBFM and have had high fertility sign since Sunday, was hoping to have a peak fertility sign today. And to top it off DP was not in the mood last night as it was too hot.

I was due to look around a private hospital today but cancelled as DP said we should wait for the nhs appointment.

Think i might spend today looking at holidays and try and get one booked (maybe first week of Oct in Mexico)I mean if we are not going private surely i can have a holiday? Or a new t.v?

Anyway is anyone due in the next few days? We need some more BFP's.

Bye

trace2 · 04/07/2006 08:32

morning everyone,
natty, sorry you are feeling that way, my gp said the same dont go private until you need to! and it would defentily be a holiday for my choice, go for it, you never know it might be your last for a while.

Beccy1974, thank you, but i have been to know to try anything, lol ive tried angus catus, epo, vit b, legs and every potion you could name but thanks for your help

peachy hows you ? ive so missed you, hows your little bump?

ruthlouise i have a 24 cd to 26, and i was told you can ovulate very early or late, it could be you do on your af as this could be a late ovulate, hope that makes sence.

Natty1806 · 04/07/2006 08:35

Hi Ruthlouise.

My friend has a 24 day cycle (and is PG with her 2nd). She thinks she OVs between CD8 & CD10.

Earlier the better as far as BDing is concerned.

wannaBe1974 · 04/07/2006 11:59

hiya all

cd17, dh is going to deposit his sample at the hospital on Friday so hopefully only a couple of weeks till we can rule him out of the not being able to get pg equasion iyswim?

How's you trace, haven't sen you for ages - I miss peachy too, although I do check the antinatal threads to see how she is.

Pincranger congrats on your bfp .

Well I weighed myself this morning and weigh far too much so it's a serious dieting regime for me now ... wish me luck, lol

ruthlouise · 04/07/2006 17:15

Hi all, lovely day here (South East coast), sunny with a gentle breeze - just fab .

Thanks Coggy, Trace2 and Hopecat for your comments re short cycles. Hopefully i don't fall into the category that OV's during AF . Obsessively counting my OV sticks to make sure I have enough! Shall start testing etc on day 6 I think....

wright4845 · 04/07/2006 17:33

hi all!
well done Pink Ranger... so pleased for you! i had a vivid dream about two pink lines last night! It's taking over my life.
On CD 50 today and still no af. not
Dr rung today with cancelled appt so i went and told her my woes and she looked at me like i was stupid. She insisted on urine sample to be sent to the lab to test if i am pg (like the middle ages)and a urine sample to test for any other 'undesirable infections'. Which of course got me worried. Then told me to come back in January if i still haven't had af by then. My god that's like ages off. I'll have exploded by then.

Natty1806 · 04/07/2006 17:41

Wright

How long you been off the pill or injection?

I was told when i came off my pill to go and see Dr if no period after 6 months, i did but they were really irregular and so he gave me blood tests.

have you done a home preg test?

trace2 · 04/07/2006 18:48

wannbe missed you too, i have asked about you on an other thread! looks like you not seen it

peachygirl · 04/07/2006 19:52

I keep lurking wannabe but haven't seen you about. I'm off having a jab for chicken pox immunity tomorrow so maybe I'll see you and trace on here or the chat thread??
Many congratulations pinkranger!!
