THIS MORNING. ANOTHER BFN. WILL HAVE TO TAKE OUT SMALL LOAN TO PAY MORTGAGE THIS YEAR AS HAVE SPENT SO MUCH ON HPT'S LOL!

Sexonlegs · 28/06/2006 20:18

Oh Wrighty, you made me laugh! Taking out a loan to pay the mortgage! I tell you, the hpt business will never fail will it, with all of us lot keeping them going.
With dd I did about 10 even after I had had the line to say was pg! Couldn't quite believe it was real as didn't feel pg! DH went mad!!
Doggy style it is then. I don't really like doggy - it seems rather porn movie-esque!!

Beccy1974 · 28/06/2006 20:25

i did 2 tests y/day. how embarrassing. one when i got in from work... the 2nd from a unichem two pack, then i went to waitrose and saw 'predictor'. both clearly to be done on day of period or after, and i think that is sat earliest for me. but i went ahead anyway. BFN BFN

v v frustrated with (imaginary?) symptoms and no sign of AF (or at least no usual run-up).

hats off to everyone at this for more than my 2 months. I think i'm going to go gaga by lunchtime 2morrow, let alone after a few more months

wright4845 · 28/06/2006 20:55

I THINK HPT COMPANIES HAVE GOT IT SORTED PUTTING 2 IN EACH BOX. HOW CAN YOU DO ONE WITH THE OTHER ONE LOOKING AT YOU? THERE MUST HAVE BEEN 12 IN MY WHEELIE BIN THIS WEEK. NIGHTMARE

Sexonlegs · 28/06/2006 21:05

How hilarious Becky! Well, not so, as I know how shitty it is when it is a bfn, but you and Wrighty are making me laugh out loud!

muminamini · 28/06/2006 21:56

Oh Wrighty - I really feel for you and I'm sorry for you got a BFN...but you had me in stitches with the line about the loan to pay for all the HPT's!

The nurse in the surgery I work at knows I am ttc and so throws a couple of tests in my direction each month but I STILL end up the days leading up to AF doing a Mercy dash to Tesco and buying more. I have even been known to do them in the loo at Tesco cos i can't wait till i get home so I totally know where you are coming from Becky.

I had to do a PG test for a patient today and i still get excited doing them even when it's not for me...I think I need help lol.

Day 15 today so in a few more days I'll start to imagine all the pregnancy symptoms...last month I swear I was nauseous in the mornings the week before AF and I was so tired..I was so convinced and SO WRONG when AF came a day early...I have a good feeling about this month but thats just because it's early days and as the month goes on I find thats when the doubt sets in.

So doggy style works does it? DH will be delighted....

I am in depression as I am just back from Slimming World and have put 2 and a half pounds on. I suppose it's not too bad as I am just back from my hols but why is it so slow to comeoff and so quick to go on?? I knew I shouldn't have had the Galaxy bar last night!

Is anyone else trying to lose weight to help their chances?

Beccy1974 · 28/06/2006 22:40

what they should do is give away a free HPT with every box of tampax. or collect the tokens from tampax, (if you want) & send off for a free preg test. that way we could all build up a supply. And if a free one in the box, if you get to end of month and you dont need your tampax, you use your test instead. bargain

yes am going to bed now, v tired, will dream of HPT's no doubt :-)

nite all

pinkranger · 29/06/2006 11:06

i am also shamed to say that i did HPT yestersay and it was BFN - i still have 6 more days until AF due

Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 11:11

am sitting at desk fighting urge to go tesco/boots for test. surely can wait till after work. nightmare hey pinkranger

sicky feeling, rumbly tummy but lower niggly crmaps. however also funny gloopy (TMI TMI) cf not had before at this time of month, and a tiny bit of brown spot. tiny tiny on close inspection if you know what i mean. am thinking first response test but i find them quite unfriendly. isn't it just true about the clearblue digital message. its very 'cold' (i'm humanising the things now)

Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 11:13

how about you pinkranger.. any symptoms or on a more positive note it would seem, none?

DebbsyandBibby · 29/06/2006 12:59

conratulations hopecat what wonderful news

pinkranger · 29/06/2006 13:27

Hi becky ,
No spotting or change of cm but have had cramps in stomach for 4 days, was bad at begining of week but have died done now, lower back pain, dont know if i am imagining them or not
DH aid i looked "different" last night????? but because of my bfn yesterday it will make me a little less sad when AF does rear her ugly head on tuesday!!
Waht Cd are you on ??

OP posts:
Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 13:34

CD 28 or 29. of a 31 cycle i think. last was 31.

the achy back / cramp thing is the most difficult i think. had dull aches in back for a lot of time on / off since ovulation.

fingers crossed for you pinkranger

pinkranger · 29/06/2006 13:50

and good luck to you x
both have same symptoms x x

muminamini · 29/06/2006 13:52

Got fingers and toes crossed for you Beccy and Pink Ranger.

It's horrible how your mind emphasises all these symptoms and things at this time and you have the horrible - am I or am I not dilemma - not at all cleared up by HPT unless a BFP as if a BFN you may have tested too early!

I am feeling fed up today, it was antenatal clinic at work this morning. I just feel so when I see them coming in.

I couldn't get DH to do any Bd'ing last night as he was 'tired' so I was a bit cheesed off. Day 17 today so probably too late anyhow....It's awful how you wish your month away to the end of your cycle...

I have a very strange urge to eat Marmite this past few days....can't say I like the stuff normally but just had a fancying for it on crumpets...just had some for lunch. I was exactly the same with Twiglets before I found out I was PG with DS so here's hoping...but probably just conincidence and desperation....

Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 13:56

tks pinkranger

muminamini that sounds good - the marmite thing

muminamini · 29/06/2006 14:07

It was yummy - I've just had another!

Must try and have a good week this week eating wise as I put on with being on holiday. Why is it such a constant struggle!

It's really hard to be motivated cos I keep thinking well there isn't much point dieting if you are going to get pregnant. But I think I will carry on doing Slimming World even if I do eventually get pregnant because I don't want to end up like a house end like last time and have to lose 3 stone!!!

I did feel nauseous this morning too but I convinced myself of that last month too and also my Mum said she felt sick when she dropped my DS off before so we probably just have a virus.

Do you think you will test tonight then Beccy?
Have to say you and Pinkranger sound like somethings going on, wish AF symptoms weren't so similar to BFP symptoms!

Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 14:12

no i;ll just get af in a day or so am sure.

haven't been able to get to gym all week lol as being so lame sitting waiting for some sign from above lol

trainer woman will kill me she's on hols this week and i'm supposed to get to gym 3 x. had same prob last month, although then i did try going but couldnt run as boobs ached so much. this month they are not sore in that way. last month even going over road humps hurt but not like that this month.

my mum reckons she didn't get ms until 3 months in. i do wonder if there is much of a link

must be v dif for you in your job. mind you at least you can research on pretense is for works benefit. i'm on mumsnet and girl behind me must be able to see everything

pinkranger · 29/06/2006 14:20

dont give up muminamini, i dont ov until 16-17 this month so there is still hope for you!!

OP posts:
muminamini · 29/06/2006 14:24

Oh really - thanks pinkranger....I'll keep trying lol

It is good having access to the nurses, doctors and midwives etc, will be useful if ever do get PG - didn't work their when last PG.

We'll have to accumulate a weekly list of 'things to ask' lol
Oh best go DS has just woke up and is v upset that he fell asleep at grandma's and has woken up back here with boring old mum!

bobblehead · 29/06/2006 15:16

Its a good thing I've just had af or I would be testing too! ( I think its catching, as soon as I hear someone else has done one I want to too!)I also felt sick this morning and had bleeding gums when cleaned my teeth, which just shows you can find symptoms anytime of month! Think I will do a opt too keep myself happy

Marmite cravings sound hope

Good luck to Pinkranger and Becky her's hoping symptoms are real and no af for you!

coggy · 29/06/2006 17:54

Muminamini - join out 'twiglet thread'.
It's not actually for people who love them (even though you sound pretty much that way!!) but for a few of us who are trying to lose a bit of weight whilst ttc.

Called the twiglet thread coz that's what we wanted to look like!!
Thin, brown and with a nice little baby bump!!!

See you there!

Sexonlegs · 29/06/2006 18:46

Evening all. How is everyone? Fingers crossed for Pinkranger and Becky.
Wrighty, how are you? Alright Coggy?
Well, CD 10 today I believe, although tbh can't be arsed counting the days now. Me and dh were very wicked and went to the woods for a bd! Felt like a naughty schoolgirl! Dd at pre-school at the time, so thought why not!? Did lots of leg wiggling after as per Hopecat suggested - dh wondered what on earth was going on!

Beccy1974 · 29/06/2006 18:52

hey SOL

cool woods trip.. go girl!

nothing for me, neg test, i'm just being silly :-)

but still crossed for pinkranger

wright4845 · 29/06/2006 21:54
