Choco happy anniversary! What your acupuncturist said about the pulses sounds promising. At the least it sounds like your body is in great shape Smile

Fab you've been hypnotised to not have chocolate?! faints in shock

Nobeer I'm well jealous, I love going to my inlaws. My MIL is a bit crazy but she is very kind hearted and always makes us lots of lovely homemade food.

I'm feeling lazy and guilty. I've not even managed to get to the shops as have been sat on my bum all day. DH has worked late and I've now sent him out to get food bad wife

Wow, re the hypnotism fab, do you never actually even crave chocolate now then

We've just had sausage pasta, which was yum, apart from ,TMI , the constant excessive saliva in my mouth which I will not see as a possible symptom

Thanks for the reality check re the acupuncture, I know what I want to think, but I just don't know. Will someone PLEASE, PLEASE slap me! Blush

Is it EC for you tomorrow cups, or have I got that completely wrong?

Report
Fabuluce · 29/07/2013 19:45

Yes - I truly did get hypnotised - I was going through a rough patch and got a bit overly obsessed with choc and eating way too much so I had one session with a hypnotist and that was that. For the first few years just thinking about choc made me my mouth water in that 'I'm just about to vomit' way (nods to chocs...Smile). Now I just don't feel anything about it. Once a year or so I fancy something random like a cream egg or a bounty (not chocs I was ever that fussed about before!) but other than that no I don't crave it at all. I promised myself that if I fancy it when (positive thinking here!) I get preggers then I'll try some...

Sausages - yum! Pork and apple are my favourite ones but we just about never have them as they're not good for my cholesterol bound DH. It seems mad as he's a skinny minny naturally (damn him) but his cholesterol was tested at 14 (!!!!) so he decided to change it through diet and now he's got a level of 5.7. It's still a little high but the doc is pleased with it given the rest of him is perfectly fine. Gosh...how's that for a side track??

Cups - what time is ec tomorrow?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 29/07/2013 20:26

Don't feel guilty Cups! You've a big day tomorrow!! Eh regards as to what to eat after ET, my clinic told me to eat normally and drink lots of water. No more protein loading Grin

Happy anniversary Chocco sounds like a lovely lunch.

That's impressive Fab!

Hello you the rest of you lovely lot x

Yep EC is tomorrow. They didn't give me a time. My trigger was at 21:30 so I'm assuming ill one of the first ones. We have to be at the hospital for 07:30.

Fab I love sausages. Pork and Apple are lush. I really like sweet chilli ones and caramalised onion ones too drools
Well done MrFab on getting his cholesterol down so much. It's not an easy thing to do.

Thanks Maybe, I'm relieved I can back off on the milk a bit. I really really hate milk! How are you doing lovely? How's ernie? Any symptoms yet? X

I too am a fan of sausage Wink. Especially chorizo. Ooh, and wild boar ones!!

I'm ok thanks lovely Cups. Very bloated and tired and nausea that comes and goes. And massive, massive boobs. MrM has me down for nuts Grin. Just spend most of the day panicking it's going wrong. But I'm not complaining x

First of all we need to think about a new thread before I get lost in the never ending corridors of wishwash IVF loneliness that is only ever cured by my lovely MN ladies

Good luck for tomorrow cups go round them up!

choco this while acupuncture thing does make me wonder! I've never had it.

Twinks I need info on FET too. I know about the protocol etc but do I need to follow usual IVF protein diets etc?

I'm feeling terribly guilty. I have plans for the next three Saturdays that's involve a fair amount of alcohol and as I edge closer to my FET i feel it's a bad thing to do. Another part of me is screaming at me to no put my life on hold again until FET is actually here because last time it took over my life.

On that note AF was due today but there's no sign of her at all, just watery CM (tmi). I've reading stories of people having a 40+ day cycle after a BFN. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi to everyone! Sorry if I missed a personal, I'm trying to read back on my very cracked phone screen x

Wish - I've been googling. It seems a healthy diet is the main thing. I'm going to continue with the no drinking as I've not missed it, although I am on hols with friends next week and we all are big drinkers (well, I used to be) so not sure if I'll succumb to a few fruity ciders. Apparently white wine is a no no for ivfers which is a shame as its my fave.

twinks and wish I'll be doing FET fairly soon, but I haven't been given any specific information. I'm eating healthily, taking folic acid and have been for last 2 years and I'm trying to drink lots of non alcoholic fluids too. I also thought it was probably sensible to do some exercise to get the circulation going. If I find any more info I'll share it on here. I must admit I have had the odd glass of wine here or there but am stopping again now, even on holiday next week. And yes, damn shame about the white wine!

Good luck cups!

I know nothing about FET but how fabulous that 3 of you will be doing the same thing together - we can all learn from you guys Smile Zita west reckons the odd glass of something nice on occasion won't ruin you so maybe a cheeky one or two during prep time is ok? I'd say concentrate on healthy eating - lots of colourful veg etc but you don't need to protein load this time I wouldn't have thought as you've done all that work already Smile Emma cannon's quite good in diet.

I love acupuncture, especially if I've been super stressed/struggling sleeping as pretty much as soon as I get the needles in me I zonk out - brilliant! It's all so interesting and amazing too - well done to the Chinese I say!

Could do with some today if I'm honest as bad sleep plus back ache and front ache are probably going to make me a grumpy girl today - not great timing for looking after my 3.5yr old nephew for the morning in hindsight. Still, he's given me his itinerary already - a ride in the Audi (he likes my car!), breakfast and trapdoor on DVD and then we're off to feed the goats at the bucks goat centre - oh ok then!! And then after I've dropped him off at pre-school maybe a nap for auntie fab :)

Good luck for today cups, can't wait to hear how you get on Smile

twinks no advice, sorry, but nice to have you back

wim glad you had a nice day chilling, have you got time off work?

fab day with nephew sounds fun, but exhausting! I'm going to be catching up with my 12 and 13 year old nephews in a few days, so looking forward to that.

wish sorry to hear your body's messing you around, no ideas though sorry. Don't give yourself a hard time over the lifestyle thing, you've got to do what's right for you.

Grin at prammy bleurgh at the sausage and curry sauce. I so want to believe she can tell though!

I resisted testing today, phew!

Wish might be old news by now but my first cycle after BFN was 49 days. The wait is a killer. Waiting to see if all is sorted out this cycle; should know by next week.
