That sounds like a lovely day fab and brilliant news on the follies and possible EC on Wednesday. Re problem with DH, mine did it at home once and drove it to the hospital with it tucked down my top (that was for a sample though) helpful

Well, I'm still mentalling like a goodun, still 5 days until OTD, aaaargh! I wish I could stop imagining 'symptoms' but I guess that's par for the course. Am going out for a nice mooch with DH today to Bath as it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow, so looking forward to that.

Choco not much longer to wait, I'm excited for you

Thanks for the replies, I've continued to spot overnight. It's pink/red so it seems to be fresh bleeding. I also feel a bit like AF is coming. I can no longer feel pressure/bloating but I've have got back ache. I've also got sore boobs. I'm quite worried still, I really hope it's just from the dildo cam on Friday. I've got an appointment at the clinic anyway at 11:00.

Cups - I totally feel like AF is on the way but i believe it's normal - the follies are growing madly, remember normally you'd only be producing one but at the mo you've got got heaps in there growing and grooving - mine seem to take it in turns to make themselves known - sometimes the left side aches, sometimes the right, sometimes together! Back ache, headache and my boobs are now starting to begin to ache. From memory this is exactly the same as last time which is comforting. Hope that helps?

cups I can't remember if I had any spotting before EC but I really felt some aches and pains in both sides, sore and itchy boobs, and really bloated. Let us know what the clinic say. They'll probably do a blood test to make sure the hormone levels are what they should be.

Hi I've had my scan. The scan technician said the dildo cam should not have caused any bleeding. I have 6 follies ranging from 19 mm to 16mm and some smaller ones. My lining though has reduced from 18mm to 14mm. The nurses says spotting shouldn't happen at this stage and didn't really know why. She said if the doctors happy we will trigger tonight and have EC Tuesday. I feel so stressed, I don't feel things are going well. Is that a normal number of follicles? I thought I would have more than that.

Hey cup. The situations with no answers are always the worst! I'm sorry to hear your body is mucking you about! The only thing I can say is that 18mm is a very thick lining and 14mm is still very good! I have my fingers crossed that it stays where it is for you. Another positive (although it may not feel it now) is that once they have your eggs, if your linin still isn't behaving then they can freeze them until your body is ready

I also had around 7 follies with lots of little ones but they got 13 mature eggs from me so don't worry too much! They will do everything they can for you xxx

Thanks Wish, I feel better now. I've just been googling. I didn't realise that 18mm was that thick. I was so focused on the fact it had decreased. I need to try to relax. I find it so hard though as I feel the clinic staff offer no reassurance. I just hope they will let us go to egg collection as I've read that sometimes with unexplained bleeding they will cancel the cycle x

Surely they would collect the eggs first? They may cancel the rest of the cycle and ask you to go for a FET but that's just a guess considering the scan shows that your lining has decreased so it isn't coming from your ovaries.

cups lovely you poor thing. Don't worry about the number of follies, it doesn't correlate to the number of eggs. As for your lining, it's amazingly thick!! Think mine was12mm at transfer, and was told that was thick!! Your embie is going to be so comfy in there

That's very frustrating for you cups. Are they ringing you back later to tell you whether to go ahead or not with triggering? I'm no expert but what wish says certainly makes sense, it would be a waste not to collect the eggs in my non experty opinion. Ask for clarification if they ring back later. My fingers are crossed too.

Hi cups your lining sounds good from what I know. My clinic look for anything above 8mm. As others have said, you may get more eggs so don't worry too much about the follie count-they concentrate on the largest ones when measuring but a few of the smaller ones can easily catch up by EC. You have to trust your clinic -they want the same outcome as you. It's just so annoying when they don't know the answers either! The uncertainty is the hardest thing to deal with. Hope you're able to trigger tonight. x

That's exciting news, cups!

I'm fine, but think DP is starting to worry about post FET and whether I'll be able to travel etc. I made a light hearted comment about no alcohol, fags or drugs and he looked very serious . I think the enormity of it all has just hit him, whereas it's something which although I have been trying not to obssess about it, it has been at the back of my mind for the last year or so a while. Bless him!
