Come and join us elderly TTCers on the Sofa of Pity (SoP), Rug of Rage (RoR), the Pouffe of Possibility (PoP) or the Chaise Lounge of Limbo (CLoL) whilst trying to avoid the BubbleBath of Gloom(BoG)!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Good effort bunny!

Thunder I do have a professional face believe it or not but my voice cracks really easily when I'm emotional, it can be a bit embarrassing really because I can't control it and it's fairly obvious. I've had to fake a coughing fit before to cover it...

boom I really don't know how you cope with TTC and dealing with bumps every day! Think it would drive me loopy (well more so)

Oh pip how exciting! I am so chuffed for you and keeping everything crossed (well not EVERYTHING) for you!

pip that sermon is just fecking genius!!!!

Guess what, got drunk and had sex for fun?!?!?!? What a waste of sperm Wink

Sid I'm currently using 2 sites to track my cycles because I'm slightly obsessed and they've given me crosshairs 2 days apart despite me inputting exactly the same data. When do you think you OVd? I'm pretty sure that FF is the correct one for me though as this is when I had the EWCM and OV pain.

Hello. Many apologies for my absence. Love the new thread, will try to catch up on the end of the last one.
Congrats on the IVF, pip and thanks for the creation story again. It still rings as true..
foody sorry you've been so down. It must take time to come to terms with it.
Re clomid/metformin combo, I think they work best together for pcos. Read good things about metformin on its own, especially for those who are ovulating, just sporadically. I'm hoping that's me. Have been taking it for 3 weeks now, so will keep you posted, if you like.
Cd8 here. Realised that during my last 72 day cycle there were 3 pg announcements. My SIL, my bridesmaid who I didn't even know was trying (last time we spoke about it was years ago admittedly) and now a male colleague's wife is expecting their first. That announcement came on cd1, so was feeling particularly vicious.
This batch of births has started too, with royal baby soon. Baby fever! Fucking hate it.
Bloody teacher driving me mad. He wanted to do a science experiment last Friday pm, but didn't get round to it as he was waffling at them for an hour and a half and I stopped him from starting it fifteen minutes before home time. He then tried again today. Still waffling at 3 pm, so it's taken him a totl of 3 hours teaching time to not do an experiment. Last time, he managed to grt the cress seeds set out in different conditions, but never returned to them for monitoring, so the children did not record results or make conclusions. Ffs. Am dreading having to collate his end of year reports....

Bunny you're making me chuckle! Purely recreational shaggage eh? What's that then?! Confused

Nice to have you back with us charming Grin and thanks for the info on the drugs. As usual, Dr Google has several opposing opinions on the subject! I'm definitely going to ask about it at the appointment but I do like to know what I'm talking about...

Your teacher sounds like such a plank. I'm itching to slap him round the face with a wet fish and I've never even met him!

That teacher sounds like an idiot. I'm not a teacher but even to me it sounds like he has no bloomin idea. Poor kids. Bet they just want to crack on with stuff.

boom good work with the strategic coughing fit. Not easy to cope with all the same. Hope you've got a nice weekend planned?

Sounds like you had a good night bunny!

Morning berries!

Have awoken on the wrong side of the bed, but am trying to rekindle the positivity by eating Haagen Dazs creme brulee icecream for breakfast

Good news on the dog front - the dogwalker took her out yesterday on the long lead and she didn't snap at any other dogs, despite meeting several 'strange' dogs as well as the two she was walking with. Progress is perhaps being made! It's definitely got me thinking that we neeeed another pup in the house (cue mad scanning of all rescue sites..again)

Not much exciting this weekend thunder, I'm working this afternoon at the pub and then tomorrow will be more diss! It's due on the 17th though, so the end MUST be in sight!! How about you, fun and frolics abounding? Or just more yellow brick jenga? Smile

thunder I'm not a teacher either, we can hang out together!

Ooooh boom another pooch! I really want a dog but we have said we will wait till we have kiddiwinks (we could be waiting a bloody long time)

Bit of a fuzzy head this morn, I only had 2 glasses, ok they were large, but I just don't drink much anymore, trying to be good and all that!

BBQ today and christening tomorrow Confused

How's the head now bunny?

The pooch is a pipe dream, we can't afford another at the moment and the house is too small really. Hopefully when I get a job after this flipping course is over we'll be able to move somewhere bigger and get another! unless of course I get diffed in which case I'll be on minimum maternity pay and we'll be flat broke

Ok good pooch news boom! Do you think the class helped too? Not so good about so much work on the weekend. I am glad my data of that are over at the moment- I've done my time! Make sure you get some rest too?

bunny get a pooch! Sod's law means you'll get diffed (but still have time to settle it in) and in the meantime you've got a wonderful distraction!

thunder and bunny I'm not a teacher either nor do I have a dog not that I have anything against teachers or dogs like

foody so sorry about what you're going through and do hope you manage to speak with your sis. i have sisters & know what you meant about not getting a word in edgeways.

both my sisters have little ones so i'm finding it increasingly hard to talk to them about ttc the longer time goes on. thank goodness for the elderberries.

goosey i think you asked me about whether i'd made up with dh - we sort of made up but then i went a bit crazy and irrational about something (can't even remember what) and then our in laws came to stay (do love them but not the best timing) and he's gone out to work so hoping to properly make up later. i suspect it's v much pms grouchiness (Cd 24 here) poor dh having to put up with it Sad

Urghh . This pre mid life crisis better be over soon or I won't have a liver left!

pip totally forgot about the story! You have actually managed to cheer be up though!! I've actually forwarded it to my friend, who's yet to be convinced of mn but could really do with the support.

bunny and thunder I'm not a teacher either! Think we should make our own special group and not let the teachers join

foody really think you need to tell your sister. Know she's being a bit selfish atm but she'll be gutted that you've struggled to tell her, once she finds out. Especially as your other sister knows x

Another non teacher with no dog! Was trying to conceal it but seeing as a couple of others have come clean...

That does sound like rubbish timing Aquarius - on the in law and af front, pmt does have a lot to answer for in the strained relationships department!

This is my last day of pub work for a while thunder, I've told them I can't cope with it while I'm doing all these essays. So we will be extra poor - I know it only brings in a couple of hundred a month, but it's a very welcome addition!

Sadly even once I graduate I'll still be working nights and weekends. On the bright side, long shifts means I only have to work 3 days a week to be on full-time hours...!

Hi Boom, do you have another job and pub was extra or are you full time student? What are you studying by the way?
