Come and join us elderly TTCers on the Sofa of Pity (SoP), Rug of Rage (RoR), the Pouffe of Possibility (PoP) or the Chaise Lounge of Limbo (CLoL) whilst trying to avoid the BubbleBath of Gloom(BoG)!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Think you can make a FB group hidden (ie would not come up in any search) and invite only (ie the person that sets it up has to add members) would be up for it in that situation as I'm very nosey it would be nice to put names to faces but, like Boodle, I have a very distinctive name and we haven't yet told any RL people that we are TTC so wouldn't want to be outed

Thanks for the thoughts about cat. She is fine today, so will keep an eye for the next couple of days and see if she does it again. There was a lot of grass on Friday night, but not last night. Hmmm. Wormed her a few weeks ago. She may just be hot.

Right, I've done some high-tech investigating. I think whoever starts the group has to be friends with people to invite them, but then can unfriend again so we're all just in the group together.

Happy to set one up if people want to PM me their real names and description of their profile pictures (for elimination purposes if loads of people have your name!) and I'll try and find them and add them..? Does that work?

Well I started my injections and if any of you ever get to the IVF stage of things then don't be frightened of the injections they are really easy and painless. Next Thursday I go to be monitored so they can see what it going on. Anyway, enough of that........

The brookers have a hidden group that you can't find by doing a search. Someone had to add me to invite me to the group but I haven't had to add everyone in the group. I quite like the idea of it but I'm worried that I'll mess it up if I start the club (and then you'll all hate me haha)

Just signed up to 'my fitness pal' to try to lose some post holiday weight! Dh and I are going to have a competition to see who can lose 5kg first. Bet he'll win, when he's bad he's very bad but when he's good he's very good!

Hello berries, would it be OK if I joined? I have been lurking for a while but I'm quite shy! I meet the criteria: 34, husband 30. TTC #1 since we got married in Jan 2012. Temping and using CBFM/cheapie OPKs. We've had investigations; initially I wasn't ovulating and DH had sperm issues, now they seem to be OK and I possibly have a blocked tube.
I'm losing weight for IVF currently but we only get one cycle on the NHS here so going private for the first cycle. We've got a private appointment in 2 weeks to plan this and get results of AMH test and sperm swim up test (which decides if we need ICSI).
Currently CD 20 and had a peak on CBFM today.
Friends all around me are having babies, one in particular hit me hard last week when she gave birth because they got married after us.
I would definitely be interested in a FB group, it would give me something on my news feed since I've blocked all pregnant/likely to announce a pregnancy friends and friends who post pictures of children/grandchildren!

Ha, yes, hopefully room for another one! It stems from a nickname DH gave me, although we also have 2 real rabbits. Would love a dog but we're both out of the house for 12 hours each day.

Merk, FC wanted to do a lap and dye to check tubes properly (HSG was inconclusive) followed by IUI (which he said has a 15% success rate in their unit) but I decided that the whole process would take too much time, for a procedure that I don't have a lot of faith in from stories online and the NICE fertility guidelines.

I share your pain re the friend who got pg after you...my friend and I talked about ttc at MY wedding and without even properly discussing it with her dp, they pulled over in a layby on the way home...and yup you guessed it...lovely ds!!! To add insult to injury, she asked me to be god mother!!!!
