I'm due on 11th, if this is a short cycle or 13th if my phone App is to be believed. I was feeling positive last week as we managed to DTD a few times during shag week; but today my cervix is low which from all experience so far means AF on her way. Sigh.... another week of the waiting game.

thank you everyone. I've been really subdued today, and I'm not sure if its to do with being a bit apprehensive. I'm sure its only going to be a chatty appt rather than any looking but my brain won't let me be relaxed at the moment.
I was going to go on my own as dh can't get time off, but I'm having second thoughts, maybe I'll ask MIL, but I'm not entirely sure about that either. gah!

merk Just called the hospital. Basically didn't tell me anything. If I'd known we'd have been waiting this long I'd have had a few private goes by now. As far as they're concerned I didn't go on the waiting list until march (because the fc didn't write to them for a month) so we've only been waiting 5 months

Grr BlindKitty ALWAYS with the delays in sending / receiving correspondence it seems.

bunny that's how I felt when some guy twat nicked my phone last year! Wasn't issuing ff then either so it was all just in my phone! As annoying as it is, I can safely say you won't care so much in a few months (but do feel to have a good cry in the meantime)

thunder they don't see it like that. Basically with the nhs you're just totally at their mercy. The letter was probably just sat in a secretary's 'to do' tray for a few weeks because that's what generally happens in my office with my letters

aww sorry I didn't come in and say something earlier. I did take mil and she was very helpful, asked a question I should have asked and offered to take me to the hospital for the procedure on the 24th. And they finally told me the name of the procedure. it's a hysteroscopy. Anyone else had one?

bunny don't b nervous, just be strong and assertive ..and if all else fails ..just cry. My dh has convinced me to see my gp about everything as he thinks she will have nagic powers in speeding things up!

I emailed a few mates earlier asking if they wanted to join me in a race later in the year. Got an email back from one saying she'd love to, but was trying to get pregnant so would have to let me know nearer the time. It hadn't even occurred to me that I might be pregnant in October and not be able to take part (it's a run with obstacles, I suppose throwing yourself over walls and crawling under nets wouldn't be advisable).
I can't decide whether I'm more depressed at her blind optimism that they're trying therefore it will happen (and it could) or my total loss of optimism, given I'll have had two or three cycles of clomid by then....

Sorry for the delays blind that's so frustrating.

tally I think they are doing hysteroscopy to remove my polyp on 17th so I can tell you all about it!
