I'm relaxing this month though- no OPKS, no ridiculous suppliments and vitamins and God knows what and no symptom spotting. I am just going to have lots of sex and stay calm.

Nice to see you Dizzy - have some cake! In the time it took me to write that you managed to post 3 messages! Good luck with your new approach, I will try to join you in the staying calm - I have learnt so much about pregnanacy symptoms over the past couple of months I've done so much spotting and internet searching.

Last month was an especially hysterical one for me- I am so much worse in the 2ww if it falls in a school holiday (I am a teacher) and last week I just had my head in my pants the whole time checking and rechecking etc. It didn't help that I started on Vitamin B Complex to lengthen my cycle (before I had around 5-7 days of spotting before period) and it worked so I managed to convince myself a bit that I was preggers, eventhough in my heart I knew it was just the B Complex.

In the four months since I had my coil out I have used PreSeed and variously been taking Raspberry Leaf capsules, Agnus Castus, Black Kosh, Cinnamon, B Complex, Evening Primrose Oil, Vitamin E.... Holland and Barratt is like my new home from home. I have also been using OPKS despite being absolutely right that I knew when I was ovuilating just from my body. But no more! I am going to stick with the B Complex and keep up the Folic Acid but otherwise I am going cold turkey and just go with theflow and try and get back to enjoying sex and enjoying life and just see what happens.

I have written in my diary at the top of the month "You are 27, you are healthy, this will happen, just be PATIENT!" and I am trying to believe it

Ive found the threads really helpful and its good to have somewhere to vent and talk to about lady things without annoying DH!

It is good - I was trying to convince myself that I wouldn't think about it too much and therefore not join in threads, but after 3 months I'm bored of that plan!

Im finding it impossible not to think about it obsess over it so i find it sort of comforting that there's others here in the same boat as me. Im thinking of trying the temping this month, as long as i can remember!

The month I started temping and using a fertillity monitor was the month I conceived DC2 - I was ovulating a day later than I thought, which isn't much, but did at least mean we maximised chances by not giving up too early, iykwim.

We normally dtd every 2-3 days anyway so it works out quite well. I used the opk's aswell to see when i ov. I found them really easy, but lots of people on here have found them with the lines quite tricky to work out. Which makes me think im doing something wrong! Lol

This is my last month with the opk's for a while anyway
I mainly used them to check everything was working fine after having the coil removed and see how things were working in there.

Hello newbies!

Glad we have a range of methods from trying to relax and see how it goes to temping and OPKS.... hopefully it will give us a viewpoint on which idea works best!

As I said I am trying to be relaxed this month but that probably won't last. At least the sunshine is out and we are finally getting some summer. Let's hope the Vitamin D makes a difference!
