AYBESAAH? DYHIDWAP? DBDMYV? CYLTEPPC? DYLG? TTITFFY!

Anyone who can correctly translate the above messages wins a baybee.

(Or at the very least, the respect of the BESH).

Draf - sorry about the tube and glad they got rid of the cyst, but hopefully now the diagnosis will mean you can move forward and get IVF. I imagine it must be a lot to take in, but you sound very stoic. Have some Brew and my cushion to add to your pile.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 29/05/2013 17:52

Glad you are home Draf, sorry about the tube but hurrah for a diagnosis. A speedy appointment as well, that's pretty impressive.

CatsCantFlyFast · 29/05/2013 18:24

Draf, sounds like your consultant is going to get things moving and knows what he's on about so thumbs up. Have some baby penguins to make up for your tube and to speed your recovery

evilgiraffe · 29/05/2013 18:32

I'm not too worried about the tube - if it was so damaged then it's better off out than in anyway. Stoicism is pretty much our modus operandi, to be honest, so it's all alright, really :) Hopefully a baybee (miracle or otherwise) is slightly more within reach now... And it is nice having an explanation, though I don't really know what it means yet

Lovely story, jeff! Fingers crossed the BESH can replicate it!

Northey · 29/05/2013 18:44

Glad you are home safe and sound, spottyone. And who needs two tubes anyway? How many ivf-ers are here now? Me and euro. raspberryripple. Were drizz and bugs in the pipeline? We are truly the barrenest BESH ever.

SinkyMalinks · 29/05/2013 19:01

Count me in. If I ever pluck up the courage...

That's me, the barren and pathetic BESH in the corner...

CaptainMoll · 29/05/2013 19:02

Welcome home Draff, glad you've got some clarity about it all. I know nothing about endometriosis so I eagerly await your PowerPoint presentation..

Alright Merks? sounds like you are having no fun. I hope you get better instantly.

Hest - lovely ceiling. I really like that detail round the thing over there.

My belly-button wound from lap&dye just will not heal . Bastard consultant made it so far in I can't keep it clean. There's a lovely dinner time post for you all. Grin

OP posts:
SinkyMalinks · 29/05/2013 19:09

Moll, my belly-button was never the same after the lap and dye. Sigh. I never thought i'd miss my belly button... It used to be all lovely and neat. And, yes, easy to clean.

I discovered I had a skin fold there a little while ago. With fluff.

Boak.

Betcha all really glad I came back.

And well done on ridding yourself of the manky tube Draf And the v stoical attitude

Bearfacedchic · 29/05/2013 19:10

I think I'll eventually end up on the IVF train too. Toot toot. Unless they decide to treat DH's varicocele first which I'm certain is the source of all our problems

Moll - I'm scared of having a lap and dye. I know that makes me a big girl's blouse but I hate the thought of anything going through the belly button. Caesarean I could handle with anaesthetic and drucks, I think, but it's the thought of my old tum being pierced that makes me cringe.

HesterShaw · 29/05/2013 19:10

Wecome back draf. Good to have an explanation at least

Merks that doesn't sound fun AT ALL :(

Moll, ouch!

Northey · 29/05/2013 20:24

My surprisingly hippy surgeon told me to keep all my cuts topped up with lavender oil - you could try reclining and filling your belly button? I know how you like to lie back and think of a Woods of Windsor shop :)

HadALittleFaithBaby · 29/05/2013 20:30

Well done brave draf. My friend had bad endo. Had IVF and won twin boys. hard work but! very cute.

merk hope you feel better soon.

Luffly ceiling hest

HesterShaw · 29/05/2013 20:40

Why did I say ?????
Surely I meant "".

EuroShaggleton · 29/05/2013 20:50

Draf you're back! You sound pretty chipper.

Did you have any symptoms of endo or did this come completely out of the blue?

My friend who I mention here lots with 3 IVF kids has endo. Although she'd had it lasered away during ttc and they had IVF due to severe male factor ishoos.

sink I'm the same - my belly button looks like it was sewn up by the surgeon's 3 year old. I'm too old to consider baring it now anyway. bear the belly button thing made me queasy too. Just don't think about it.

hest are you planning on spending a lot of time on the bathroom floor looking at that ceiling, hmmm?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 29/05/2013 21:08

Right Hags, I missed loads. Sorry about the tube and the endo draf. Hope you recover quickly and IVF will bring you a win!

Welcome here bearface, I'll be shocking and agree that cumberbatch is fairly shameful

The news here is that I have managed the first half of my root canal. Next week I am either starting IVF or diffed... I guess it's IVF.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 29/05/2013 21:08

Nice ceiling btw. And have some cake, draf.

HesterShaw · 29/05/2013 21:16

Cuntysnatch is a minger

I am very, very sleepy, am I diffed? Or just recovering from the root canal?

RaspberrySnowCone · 29/05/2013 21:33

I'm feeling more barren by the day to be honest so yep, I'm also up for some stabbing hopefully this year. Sent all the paperwork back yesterday so that should get the ball rolling.

Glad you're home safe Evil, sorry about the tube but as you say, it may be better out than in and your consultant sounds like he has a plan. I have a touch of endo that makes periods and pooping while on a period rather painful. They got rid of most of it last April but apparently its sort of come back and they had to leave some at the base of one of my tubes in case they ruptured the tube. The surgeon was never quite clear with me though as to whether that meant the tube was completely blocked or whatever.

Bear I had a lap and dye, it was fine, I have three teeny scars, one in my belly button which you can hardly see but the thought actually freaks me out a bit even now, over a year ago.

Well done on the root canal drizz fingers cross for a FUFC diffage

Bearfacedchic · 29/05/2013 21:34

Hi Bugger and Lemon. Pleezed to meet you both too.

I actually genuinely think the Cumbersomesnatch is a bit minging but I quite like him too. Hence him bring my choice for inappropriate crush

EuroShaggleton · 29/05/2013 21:35

Are you being looked after and fed ice cream drizz?

RaspberrySnowCone · 29/05/2013 21:42

Urrggghhh Spartacus has just got way to minging for me. Think I'm done with it now. Is Game of Thrones very violent?

CaptainMoll · 29/05/2013 21:46

Gosh but the BESH are rather beset by surgical procedures at the moment.. Hope you're feeling ok Drizz.

I have just noticed that we haven't introduced ourselves to the newbie properly! Manners, ladies, manners! Someone pass the scones round, quick.

I'm the Cap'n. TTC for nearly 2 years now. Just had lap & dye to investigate tubes and also Englebert Lumperdinck, a largish fibroid growing just behind my my left ovary. He's harmless so I'm currently officially unexplained, though I strongly suspect my overweightness is behind my barrenness. At least, that's what I'm telling myself since its good motivation to get fit, and is also something I can actually take some action on. Hubby is BE for Bald Eagle.
