C25k=couch to 5k, a running programme for beginners. There is an NHS version and various others out there on the interweb. Many have an audio file you can download for when you are out.

I'm another C25K-er. I'm back doing week 3 at the moment as I had 10 days off while we went to New York and my feet recovered from all the walking! My legs ache today!

loving the Fred mol. I have been hiding due to cystitis turning into kidney issues and all nasties surviving 2 rounds of antibiotics. 2 weeks and 2 days since first symptoms, now on 3rd round of antibiotics. And shag week starts tofuckingday grrrr

This is my first scan of the cycle Merks, they want to check that I have no issues before starting the stabbing. They check that the endometrium is nice and thin and that any cysts are too small to interfere.

After the scan they'll tell me how much I need to stab each day and see me again next week to check folly growth.

Hester I had to drop in to say I dreamed last night that you were diffed and had a broken ankle. I'm sure there is a bad joke in there somewhere about crutches but I am post all my exams and have a melty brain.

Hey BESHes, thanks for the good wishes :) I am now home, propped up with cushions and wrapped in a blanket. Cyst is gone, as is the tube from the same side. Tube was apparently in a terrible state. In other news, it seems that I have endometriosis - not something that has been mentioned before, but the consultant is an endo specialist so I imagine he's right! Cyst was an endometrial cyst, not a dermoid, so that's interesting. So, all this boils down to endo being the cause of our infertility - no longer unexplained, hurrah! He wants to see us ASAP in clinic next week, to get us started on IVF ASAP too (I think - will know more after appointment). Which means we can't go to stay with my parents on Saturday :( With any luck the appt will fall early in the week, though, so we might be able to go down before the weekend.

Ooooh Draf I hope you are recovering with some nice tea. In "stories I know about endo".... one of my friends has it very badly, she had a miracle baby 7 years ago & has been trying for number 2 ever since. A couple of months ago she went for some further scanning to review a cyst - she was 4 months pregnant!!! She had no idea, her periods had always been totally irregular. Do you feel better about having an 'explanation'?
