I have been going a bit bonkers for the past few weeks (had terrible headaches for a few days a couple of weeks ago and was having a bit of a hard time with that - that's how the MC started before so I got myself not a bit of a state). hey noks I found it very odd when I didn't have to get my nix off to have a scan done. Although ironically the 8 week scan I had was a clear picture than the 12 week scan cos the fanny-cam avoided all my belly fat!

I found the hsg ok but uncomfortable when they injected the dye. It was like an intense cramp but went off quite quickly.

My HSG was more uncomfortable than hurty. It felt a bit like nasty period cramps but only lasted a few minutes.

My HSG was fine. Nice to get the old knicks off for something different. And it was certainly no more than a few seconds of period cramp, with a small amount of residual faint aching for the next hour or so. I think there was some nice blue leakage over the next couple of days, which is, you know, a change.

I dreaded my HSG twink but it was fine. Just like a smear with an audience. :) I think it only hurts if there is some sort of blockage in the toobs that is forced out by the liquid. In which case, it is probably increasing diffage chances.

norf is right - they usually try to do it pre-ov. if not, you have to abstain that cycle. But if you have it pre-ov, you can get straight back on it. I didn't get any blue drippage. Did I miss out?

norf that is very odd. Although my nipples sometimes get a little tingly in the 2ww since my mc. They never did before. I think a few weeks of diffage changed them.

My nipples/boobs were astoundingly painful last week, norf, and then droid turned up at the end of the week. I dunno if that has been exacerbated by the downregging, but generally sore boobs is a sign of droid within the week for me.

Twink, when I had my HSG I found the procedure itself pretty much painless, but felt quite wobbly and rather sick afterwards. Though that was perhaps down to the mental effect as much as the physical? No blue dye for me either, it was yellow/brown (iodine innit) so no comedy knob-colours :(

Re HSG, I say it smarted. Depends how Barrie your cervix is for one thing. Since they pop shove a tube in there.

I actually know someone who went for a HSG and discovered soon after she was diffed. Baybee was ok though.

Right. After extensive and not at all menkul googling about sore nipples, today is a day of Extensive Nipple Moisturisation. They didn't seem dry, but apparently that can be a cause, so I have slathered them in coconut oil and will see what that does, other than make my bra oily.
