AYBESAAH? DYHIDWAP? DBDMYV? CYLTEPPC? DYLG? TTITFFY!

Anyone who can correctly translate the above messages wins a baybee.

(Or at the very least, the respect of the BESH).

bear here, have the BESH dragonglass knife. It freezes and shatters instadiffers if you stab them in the neck with it. The more efficient the instadiffers, the more satisfactory the kill. Grin

RaspberrySnowCone · 05/06/2013 19:53

See we are actually thinking of moving to France so I'm definitely up for a France Fred. Similarly we are big TA fans in the Tipps household. I am prone to bursting into song......'America......Fuck YEAH......' Dooby dooby doop doop

Bearfacedchic · 05/06/2013 20:15

Thanks, Nokks - feels like it'll do the job. I may have to hang onto it for some time though as practically everyone I know in some kind of relationship seems to be getting diffed. Wouldn't be surprised if GS's grandparents announced a bump at this rate, and they're over 90. (Ewwww.)

Do you speak French Rasp? Does anyone on the fred? I bet you all do, you intelligent bunch. I totally don't, but thinking of doing a GCSE in it this coming year so that I have at least some language skill.

Bearfacedchic · 05/06/2013 20:16

Have found myself watching TeenMom2 on MTV. Strangely addictive.

Do you suffer from IBS bugs? How much have you been eating?

RaspberrySnowCone · 05/06/2013 20:32

Nope don't speak French bear. MATV can understand a bit but then can't speak back cos he gets all tongue tied :)

Bearfacedchic · 05/06/2013 20:43

Ooo would you learn on the job or learn before you go Rasp?

TWinklyLittleStar · 05/06/2013 20:45

Gallstones maybe bugs? Any bloating etc? GP trip in order.

I speak a bit of French, I did an AS level a few years ago, and did an improvers course last year. HWCA's French is beyond terrible though.

HadALittleFaithBaby · 05/06/2013 21:02

Where specifically is the pain bugs? To one side? Centre? Any reflux?

JethroTull · 05/06/2013 21:36

If you had gall stones Bugs chances are you would be being sick. Losing weight really quickly could may be a parasite - SSG had similar thing after we'd been to Egypt. You could just be eating loads less though. I'm in no way qualified to give any advice!!

CaptainMoll · 05/06/2013 21:37

Bugs, my ibs is more like bloaty, belchy, refluxy discomfort and piles so that kind of pain is not my experience of it. I second the gp vote. If you're pooping a lot it may be a mild tummy bug/food poisoning though?

RaspberrySnowCone · 05/06/2013 21:52

Mmmmm, curious bugs, curious. have you been eating anything new? I'd second seeing a Dr but then ill go for anything.

Re french I'd learn ish before we went I think bear although to be honest it's probably better just to throw myself in.

EuroShaggleton · 05/06/2013 22:01

Sorry about the UTI, bear. Hope you feel better soon.

And sorry about the announcements too. My lovely instadiffer friend have told me she is about to ttc #3. She started ttc #2 a month after we started trying... She actually offered to hold off for a couple of months (she knows all about the mc and the upcoming IVF). I've told her I can handle it.

I speak French, although a lot less well than I used to. I spent a year at university in France and then a year and a half in Brussels, working for a French firm. I was fluent by the end of that (although my grammar was always shit). Less so now, but I can still read a newspaper/understand most people. The speaking and writing are pretty rusty though.

rasp I'd love to move back to France. I applied for some jobs there when I last moved firms but got offered my current role in England first and took it.

My IBS is similar to moll's, bugs. I don't know what the pain could be. Maybe a trip to the GP is in order.

CaptainMoll · 05/06/2013 22:08

I had a french boyfriend for a while so I'm excellent at french swearing and general crudeness, but can only converse (badly) in the present tense.

So many poorly BESH Sad Hope everyone feels better soon.

I got an A in my GCSES French, but I've barely spoken a word since Blush I can muddle along reading French, but writing is definitely out the window!

Off to clinic shortly, will keep you all informed.

Northey · 06/06/2013 08:26

I did French A level and a spell as an au pair (to an uber fertile cow) but am now rusty comme un old bucket. We did actually do a franglais fred a while back, now I come to think of it.

bugs, off to the quack please. I wouldn't normally bother, but bearing in mind some of the things that cause weight loss are also things that affect fertility (thyroidy stuff, I think), it's worth tackling.

I am oozing with what looks like pre-droidal gunk. If this cycle is like last one, I have about 4 days to decide whether I want to do a frozen cycle now. I have no idea.

Good luck with today's prodding, frank.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/06/2013 09:39

Back from clinic, two 13mm follicles plus a slack handful of under 10mm. They said to keep going with the drucks and come back on Monday, hopefully they will have grown enough to take the trigger by then.

Norf, what are your reasons for/against? It might help you to put them down "on paper" as it were.

EuroShaggleton · 06/06/2013 10:20

Nice growing frank.

norf I second frank's suggestion. Let the wisdom of the BESH come to bear...

HesterShaw · 06/06/2013 10:37

Write down A List, Norf - pros and cons.

I just had to take a call in German. It just confused us both and we ended up reverting to English . Problem is, German isn't a language you can just muddle along in - it all needs to be correct, whereas you can murder English and still make yourself understood. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/06/2013 11:16

Last week at work I couldn't make myself understood in English Blush I gave up and had my cockney colleague 'translate' what I was trying to say. I was speaking to an elderly Carribbean Londoner and I suppose my accent was just too much, even though I don't have that much of one.

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/06/2013 11:19

Norf last week you seemed dead set against doing a frosty cycle. You seem to be coming round to the idea a bit. How do you think you would feel if they phoned up and told you it couldn't be done this time? Upset or relieved?

Northey · 06/06/2013 11:33

Dunno, twink. Not that bothered, I guess. I feel a lot calmer than last week, hence less dead set against it, so now wondering if I should just crack on before I get even more crone-like. Will have a think about reasons and present them for judgement later.

Gorgeous day here. I am being very inefficient.

evilgiraffe · 06/06/2013 15:29

Four and a half hours after leaving the house, we have returned! LONG wait and then a million things to do at the hosp (including lunch). Still, official IVF forms are filled in and being sent off next week after today's bloods go through. Had nice talk with specialist nurse, and consultant showed me photos of my mega-tube which got removed. Should be 2-3 weeks to hear from IVF clinic now, and approx 3 months before we start stabbing. We are IN THE MACHINE, hurrah! And nothing to do next week, so we are going to Wales tomorrow, almost a week late, but we are actually going to get there :)

Making lists is a Good Plan, Norf.
