Thanks all. Funeral was sad, just 8 of us there. I cry at everything so was trying very hard to blow my nose quietly.

HWHNN's grandmother was a bit of a girl in her time - joined the WAAF during the war and, from what we understand, got about a bit! She ended up pregnant at 20 and promptly married HWHNN's blood-grandfather, who was sadly killed 2 years later.

Anyway, we're off out for dinner with HWHNN's mum and brother tonight, so off to repair my make up and get ready.

HesterShaw · 03/06/2013 16:23

Oh Frank, there's nothing worse than a very old person's funeral who has no friends left to attend :( :( :(. I remember when my Uncle John in Cleethorpes died and it was only us there. A bit sad.

HadALittleFaithBaby · 03/06/2013 16:28

Aw Frank Thanks :(

JethroTull · 03/06/2013 20:04

Ah Frank. Funerals are horrid.

My down reg drugs were ok, no issues, no headaches, no dramas. Probably because I don't have any of my own hormones to down reg but every cloud hey! Grin

SinkyMalinks · 03/06/2013 20:19

Sorry Frank. GHJ laughs at me because i get sad when I see old famous people on TV - Jim Broadbent, David Attenborough..

Sorry about the sad day, frank.

Oh fuck bugs. Did I post on here that my pregnancy app updated itself and switched back on alerts last week, to remind me that I was now 19 weeks pregnant... I deleted the mofo.

Want to hear something ironic BESH? I had to chase a response from the complaints dept about my missing paperwork. The woman forwarding on the complaint ( who lost the first lot of papers) copied me into an email to the complaints people asking them to contact me within the two days that their policy dictates. 10 days later I've heard nothing so I chase and guess what. Complaints never received the emails! What a ducking bag of laughs. I'm beyond cross.

RaspberrySnowCone · 03/06/2013 21:32

Ducking.??? I will not be fucking censored!!!! Fucking, I meant FUCKING. Bastards :)

evilgiraffe · 03/06/2013 21:33

How the fuck did Cow&Gate know, Bugs? I can understand euro's app, but company emails? How weird. Hugs to you both :(

Jeff - good to hear an encouraging downregging story! I shall attempt to emulate you :)

I get scared about David Attenborough dying. Like as if he's my grandad or something. Though I tend to cope much better at the funerals of elderly people than young people. The most distressing funerals I've been to have been so heavily attended that they were standing room only, crowds overflowing out of the churches and into (and out of) anterooms. Both of those were for younger people who died very suddenly (aged 36 and 20). I'm very grateful I've not had to attend a funeral for a child, though, I can't even imagine how difficult that must be to deal with.

evilgiraffe · 03/06/2013 21:35

Oh god, rasp, it's not funny, it's really not, but I couldn't help but laugh at the sheer absurdity. Fucking useless knobheads.

HesterShaw · 03/06/2013 22:04

Could not say that any more eloquently than draf. Simply unbelievable Angry

SinkyMalinks · 03/06/2013 22:25

Cow and Fucking Gate Tossers.

Like bus wankers, but more cunty.

evilgiraffe · 03/06/2013 22:33

Is cow and fucking gate tossing like caber tossing? Grin

RaspberrySnowCone · 03/06/2013 22:37

Oh and my pee has gone pink. I'm putting this down to strawberry fruit tea increase on my first no caffeine/no dairy day as had red grapefruit for breakfast with berries instead of yoghurt! Will be back tomorrow to arch up proper. I'm too ranty tonight to be any use to anyone. ----

RaspberrySnowCone · 03/06/2013 22:56

Oh, but on a positive note, I had to tell my boss today about impending procedures an what not, apparently we have a policy on IVF treatment so I fessed up that we would hopefully start soon. I'm sure she must've been on a forum and checked out perfect responses. She said that I wasn't to worry about work, they'd be completely flexible with special leave/toil or whatever I needed and if I didn't feel I could bring up appointments I could just email at short notice and let her know if its stressful having to raise it, she said she had everything crossed for us and will wait to be told and won't ask. Awesome boss or what.

Sorry about funeral frank, I always cry bucket loads at funerals. It's the finality of it I can't cope with, I don't just cry for the dead person, I cry for everything else too.

bugs that's shit and as awful as euros reminder. These bloody apps/sites never forget anything. Bastards.

CaptainMoll · 03/06/2013 23:21

Sorry to hear about your Gran-in-law Frank. Thanks

Cow and gate wankers.
FC admin wankers.

My gynae wants to induce a mini menopause to try and shrink my fibroid, so I might be joining you in the downregging hormone madness, Draff.

C25K week 2 kicked off this morning. Does anyone else feel like they're living in a montage whilst running?

rasp that's unbelievable. I can't believe how rubbish they are being. But I'm pleased that your boss is being great about the IVF.

moll thanks for that. I now have the Team America "Montage" music going through my head....

bugs I'm here. How are you doing?

evilgiraffe · 04/06/2013 10:14

I'm on the sofa all day again, bugs HOTB has gone to work so I feel very liberated! I've been to the nurse this morning and now have my zoladex implant. It's a big old subcutaneous thing into the belly - a bit ouchy especially as I'm still rather tender down there, but not too bad. And as the nurse pointed out, it's the first of many stabbings, so I might as well get used to it!

What with it being an implant, though, I feel like I'm someone's pet who's just been microchipped Grin

evilgiraffe · 04/06/2013 10:16

Euro me too! Even Rocky had a montage...
