AYBESAAH? DYHIDWAP? DBDMYV? CYLTEPPC? DYLG? TTITFFY!

Anyone who can correctly translate the above messages wins a baybee.

(Or at the very least, the respect of the BESH).

Saw you!!! I remembered seeing the clip from the other place now too! A famous BESH, how exciting!

EuroShaggleton · 02/06/2013 17:39

Hello hags!

I've had a lovely day - a wander in the sun around Knole Park, deer spotting (without a gun - the only shooting I did was with my camera) and then a visit to my (somewhat stressed) parentals. I took cake, so I think they are a bit better now.

rasp I am lactose intolerant. I had awful IBS in my 20s and after a lot of suffering discovered dairy to be the main (but not the only) trigger food. I was a bit worried about IVF because some clinics tell you to drink loads of milk during stimming! I'm a lot better now and can manage small quantities of dairy products, but that filled me with horror. My clinic didn't mention it, fortunately.

TWinklyLittleStar · 02/06/2013 17:40

'lo hags, how's it going? Weather in France is gorgeous but they've neglected to inform us that the whole of Provence is closed on a Sunday, oh dear.

HesterShaw · 02/06/2013 17:44

I'm loving the BESH adoption of "" whenever we mention anything which could be considered TMI Grin.

Remember Hags, no I is TM with the possible exception of spaff on silk shoes

HesterShaw · 02/06/2013 17:45

Provence you say, Winks? Oh how I love Provence Envy

TWinklyLittleStar · 02/06/2013 17:48

It's closed, hest, all of it. Had to have lunch in mcfuckingdonalds. Droid came on second day of holiday too, not a sniff of a shag, and it's doing its best to ruin my white shorts. Thank heavens for the mooncup.

RaspberrySnowCone · 02/06/2013 17:54

The whole of France pretty much stops on a Sunday. That's one of the reasons I love it :) actually France stops quite a lot of the time ie Sundays and most afternoons.....

Droid attacked me on hols too :( bitch. I had horrendous cramps the hr before we left and I cried in the bathroom at my parents. Dad thought I didn't want to go on hols!

HesterShaw · 02/06/2013 19:55

Oh my good God, I just started stabbing and the needles this time are mahoosive. I just nearly vomited it hurt so much. Waaaaah :(

RaspberrySnowCone · 02/06/2013 20:03

oh Hest :( basttard needles. Can you ice yourself uo for next stabbing so it's numb (no idea if that actually works but don't feel it's right to suggest alcohol to numb the pain) xx

HesterShaw · 02/06/2013 20:11

Bless you Rasp, I didn't need any ice last time, but maybe I will this time. I feel extremely sorry for people on dialysis suddenly. And junkies.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 02/06/2013 20:36

Ice is definitely the way to go Hest, I always use it.

EuroShaggleton · 02/06/2013 20:41

Sorry the stabbing is horrid hest (but have a gold star for remembering to do it Wink).

twink most of France is like that, not just Provence. Your only hope is finding a market really. The village where the IL's place is has a Sunday market, which means the shops and cafes around the square open, so you have those as well as the market stalls.

Ugh. FBPAK.
(Facebook pregnancy announcement klaxon)

Sorry to hear about all the poorly tums. I switched to almond milk a year ago and my slight ibs has calmed right down. I found quitting caffeine really helped though.

Hest, that sound brutal. Is this giant scary stabbing going long?

Had a lovelyish sort of day at a golden wedding party, v posh, much polite chatting to the elderly, but lovely countryside and food which I will now have to run off next week
Didn't have any time for the Big Chat with BE though and have now out him back on a train north, won't see him for another 10 days. *sigh

What are the drucks for this round, hest? I remember one particularly massive needle from ivf which definitely left me a bit wobbly. It was almost like trying to puncture my skin with a blunt pencil. Much bravado needed.

Piss on the keyboard, bugs! Not because the internet can tell you, but because never let it be said that the BESH shy away from kink.

CaptainMoll · 02/06/2013 21:51

Bugs - DEFINITELY. (Diffinitely?)

Northey · 02/06/2013 21:53

Gorgeous day for a garden party, moll. Though Angry at the Facebook twats.

HesterShaw · 02/06/2013 22:08

Same drucks as last time, but they just sent bigger needles Confused. I have some littler ones left from last time though (unused Grin ) so will find them.

EuroShaggleton · 02/06/2013 22:39

bugs if you are, I am. CD 22 here - womble feels odd, nips feel strange. Much as I would love a pre-IVF ironidiff, I just know I'm not going to be that lucky.

I have loads of unused needles from my NHS round hest. Happy to send supplies if that would help.

evilgiraffe · 02/06/2013 22:52

I reckon Norks has had the BESH ironidiff quota for this year. I did laugh when I was made to provide a urine sample for a pregnancy test pre-surgery, though. It seems even more insane now that I have a diagnosis of severe endo (looked up figures this afternoon - chance of someone in my situation conceiving naturally is

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 03/06/2013 10:12

Yes yes to sharp needles. The blunt ones are very ouchy! Of course they are blunted by my own fair hand when getting too carried away stabbing the bottle to draw up the drucks Blush

I'm off work today: HWHNN's grandmother died while we were in New York and today is the funeral. She was 90 and it wasn't unexpected, she'd been in a home with severe dementia for at least 6 or 7 years, so in many ways it is a blessed relief. His grandfather won't be there, he was in the home too but he forgot that she had died within a few hours of it happening and they've decided it's not fair to upset him all over again to go to the funeral only for him to forget again Sad

evilgiraffe · 03/06/2013 10:51

Oh, Frank, that is so sad for everyone concerned. Love to you and yours.

I have appointment dates! GP tomorrow for zoladex injection (I reread my discharge notes; they actually say "for down regulation prior to IVF therapy", so I guess this is the beginning!?), and consultant on Thursday. Then travel to ILs on Thurs afternoon and my parents on Friday morning, almost a week late. Still, a plan! Grin

EuroShaggleton · 03/06/2013 11:19

Oh frank that's really sad.

Draf there's someone called something like ThatWayMadnessLies on the 10+ers fred who has severe endo. She had it removed and then was basically put on downregging drugs for a couple of months prior to IVF, so her hormones were well and truly shut down before IVF. Maybe this is the same thing?

evilgiraffe · 03/06/2013 11:24

I guess so, Euro. Google suggests it basically induces menopause, hurrah... Hmm

EuroShaggleton · 03/06/2013 12:09

All downregging drugs do. Based on my experience, I have suggested KFZK runs away before the real one happens...
