Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Wotcha - another noob asking to join you lovely viroids (gotta love autocorrect).

We're doing the whole trying to get upduffed thing with no sciencey stuff (otherwise known as me not having a clue what my body is doing). Started sort of in April - life has kind of got in the way a bit but things have calmed down now. ERTD is due in about 10 days, and I'm going to call next cycle us properly starting.

Be prepared for lots of very stupid questions. I'm rubbish at being a girl.

Yeah, normally regular bear. 26-28 days. Think I'm out now though, which is a little disappointing. Why 6 days late?! There is no reason for it to happen.

Cookie do you have any idea when you ovulate? If you are using sneaky contraband have a google of the Sperm Meets Egg Plan - me and DH did that this month and got BFP so definitely worked for me! If not, keep going with every other day until way after you think you need to, just in case you ovulate late :)

Who was allowing themselves a week before testing? AF is due in 6 days for me but I'm going to attempt to bolster some willpower if she doesn't show on time.

bear hope the banging stopped. I can sympathise - the building at the end of our garden is being knocked down e v e r s o s l o w l y by men with sledgehammers (it now feels weird when everything stops vibrating). They do things a bit differently here.

Dulcet, you said you OV'd late. That will have extended your cycle. How long is your luteal phase normally? The length of this won't change. So, if you OV 5 days late your period will arrive 5 days later than normal, as your luteal phase length won't change.

Oh congrats MrsBri! God, can't believe she is here already! What a short 9mnths, for me anyway! Lol. You might not agree.

I think my LP is about 10 days, that would have made it 11 from my estimates so maybe makes sense. Not that any of it makes sense to me any more!

cd9 here, been a bit slow getting the cape back on cos we've both been sooo overworked this week so far, but hoping to get back on it tonight. We're at the outlaws this weekend but last itme DH seduced me and we shagged anyway even though it was a teensy bit weird, so he reckons this time there is no reason not to take the cape. I still think its gross, but I'm not letting them get in the way of our efforts! At least 92 old Gma won't be staying too this time!! That would just be taking it too far!

I am currently in the 2ww with 1 week to go, no chance this month really, we just are not having enough sex! I am a bad js'er really. . Think I might need to give up this ttc for a while and sort the rest of my life out first!

Hi quark, good to see you. The pity pool is always open for business, as we never know when someone will need it! I spend most on my time sitting on the side with my legs in just in case I need a dip!

Know what you mean though, I keep thinking I need to cram as much in now before bfp, but in reality I think I'm doing so much its probably going some way to preventing bfp from actually happening.

May have to try SMEP if no luck in next couple of cycles but afraid that will feel like a science experiment.

I might try SMEP this month, I read a tiny bit about it yesterday but will research it later and see. Obviously requires DP to actually manage it though!

Debating a trip to the docs too... not sure what to say though. I don't really go to the doctors and I'm not a big fan of mine. Any of you been to drs yet just to see what they say?

What is SMEP?

I was at docs recently about an unrelated subject and mentioned we had been ttc for 7 months. She said to talk to them about it in a year if nothing has changed. She wasn't very worried about it at all..
