Oooh beedle 12!!! That's amazing!!! Brooking like crazy that they get jiggy with MrB's swimmers. Hope you don't feel sore for too long, and are able to get a bit of rest and put your feet up while you can.
I had a bit of a shock in the scan - my right ovary has gone a bit mental! They measured 13 on there, but counted 21 - just on the one ovary! The left still has 5 and they don't appear to have grown since yesterday's scan.
Righty has finally dropped with the weight of all those golden eggs, and the nurses both said that it looked like they can now access it for egg retrieval
Unfortunately, my body's responded so well that they decided it was a good idea to check my estradiol levels, and I've just had the call back to confirm that these are at 22,900. They won't do EC until they have dropped to at least 16,000, so I'm back to playing a waiting game. I have to stop the stims completely, and just keep up with the cetrotide to prevent early ovulation. I need a scan and blood test tomorrow morning, and they have warned me they are expecting to see my E2 levels rise even though I won't be taking any more stims. They should then plateau, and finally drop. I will need daily blood tests to monitor my levels.
So on that basis, I have absolutely no idea when EC will be - but I'm reasonably confident that we will now get eggs! As a rough guide, every 1000 units of E2 represent one egg so I've got potentially 23 of the blighters floating round! Not sure what happens when the E2 levels drop - will the eggs die off? No idea. But they've said it's no reason to cancel the cycle, we just need to coast for a bit until the E2 is more reasonable.
Sorry for the seriously mememe post.
Love and brooking to all, and thank you for the brooking vibes sent in my direction - they are obviously working overtime!!!
