Phew, I'm home, finally! Traffic was horrendous and we ended up just over half an hour late to our appointment

Righty is still hovering somewhere over the top of my womble, and now has 6 decent sized follicles (about 15 x 18, I can't remember all of the measurements they called out) and a couple of smaller ones.

Lefty has actually grown three follicles! There are also a couple of smaller ones there too.

Womble lining is nice and plump, and the polyp didn't even get a mention today, until I asked if it was causing a problem and they said no. The fibroid's still being a bugger though.

They want me back for another scan on Sunday morning (I didn't even know they did weekend scans for NHS patients!) with the expectation of EC on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday next week.

Excellent news geek So glad that lefty has joined the party. I don't think its so strange that you can have a scan at the weekend, I think it would be a pretty poor clinic that was completely shut at the weekend. Mine say they try not to do EC at the weekend (but they will if they really need to) but they do other stuff.
So its all go for both of us next week, we're going to fill up this thread between us with all the time we'll have for stressing :o

I did my final old lady's wee injection last night so its trigger shot tonight, fairly early at 20:15 which is a bit of a pain as we're going to a bbq this evening. So we'll either have to come home early or do the shot in their bathroom eek!

Does it need to be kept cold beedle or is that only if its 38...? Is mrB doing them for you? Yay for being at trigger, and double yay for no drugs tomorrow.

I went to the dentist last week, and one of the questions was 'have you had any drugs in the last six months, if so what'...... I just put 'ivf' not old ladies wee rather than a complete book list.

So pleased the scan was good geek. I too would be more surprised if they didn't do stuff at the weekend.

I have been doing nothing today, was meant to bake this afternoon but I have just realised I ate the last of the eggs this morning! Contemplating whether I should nip out to the shops now! How's everyone else's day going?

Trigger shot done without any problems last night. The weather has been really nice so I was wearing shorts, and then at the right time I decided I was getting a bit chilly and went to change into the jeans I had with me. Giving me an excuse to spend a longer time in the bathroom with a bag. I kept it cool with an ice pack.

geek hope the scan goes well and they can tell you when to trigger.

Just getting ready to go for my scan now, really hoping some of the smaller ones have joined the party. Feeling pretty heavy down there at the moment, so keeping everything crossed!

sparks you don't know the half of it, these sexy follies are keeping me up half the night with their antics :)

I've now got 9 on the right and 5 on the left. One is at the right size but they would like for a couple of the others to catch up, so I have another scan booked for 9.30 tomorrow morning with EC probably taking place on Wednesday, depending on the scan.

I knew there was an issue with accessing the right ovary, but it looks like there might now be an issue with accessing the left, too. They've not been able to find either ovary with the dildocam for two scan appointments now, and they've had to use a tummy scan to measure the follies. Apparently this means they may not be able to collect eggs from either. Won't know til they try though.

Lovely folly news, I'm sure they wouldn't put you through the effort of trying to collect if they didn't think they could get there??!

Thank you boo and sparks I really hope so. Also found out this weekend MrG's job is a bit in the balance (as in he may not have it for more than another three months) so having lots of wobbles at the moment.

solars my left ovary has gone on a bit of a wander since they started, and heads further away between each scan, so it seems! Hopefully they can manipulate while I'm under GA otherwise I don't know what my options would be.
