Brillint news solars!!! Breaks out into divide embies divide dance

Not too good at todays scan. Nothing worth writing home about on the left ovary ( the one the could def retrieve from) and just 4 on the right with no guarantee of retrival from it. My uterine polyp has regrown and if it grows much more, or in the wrong firection the may not be able to return the embies ( if we get that far). Got to start on cetrotide tonight and continue with same level of stims til friday. EC def won'y be before next friday now so the schedule I gave dink yesterday needs to go back by two days.

geek there's a long way to go, I'm brooking the left wakes up! Don't worry about putting the embys back. If it does grow they could always freeze them till the polyp reduces enough. Argh, though, I'm sorry it wasn't better news.

Geek you've still a way to go for follies to grow and as Keep pointed out there are still options for you if the polyp causes a nuisance. I'm brooking like crazy all will still be ok. When is the next scan?

Keep so far it's 200% better than our last cycle!

Cups I have also got lost even with the sat nav Hmm

Beedle is it your scan tmrw?

solars that is amazing!!! I don't think we've had a 100% brooker fertilisation yet, have we? Definitely one for the brooking record book :) Are you doing IVF or ICSI? With eggs and sperm as fertile as that you can't lose Grin

beedle that is odd about MrB, maybe he felt he was in a position where it was easier to tell the truth than to not, iykwim? It is good for our chaps to be able to get things off their chest, hopefully it will help. I wouldn't worry too much about his boss and your boss swapping info, I am sure they both understand confidentiality.

maybe hope you are having a brilliant holiday and that it's a bit warmer and sunnier in Italy than it is here right now!

Thanks ladies, the next scan is Friday afternoon. They didn't have any appointments at all on Friday so have had to double-book me with another lady and will try to squeeze me in between appointments. Even the nurses were very surprised at my low numbers, given my AMH being so high. I know there is still some time to go, EC won't be until a week on Friday at the earliest, but I thought maybe they would at least increase my stim dose (I'm on 150).

Keep they did mention that if it came to it they could freeze whatever grew and put back in an unmedicated cycle, but that my cons may feel I need another op to remove the polyp in advance of doing that.

Tis early days still, anything can still happen with my embies. Geek they recommended icsi for us because of DH's 'dizzy' sperm last time, when I spoke to the embryologist yesterday, before they started the icsi, they said the sample was good and didn't elaborate any further, so who knows. It is still early days for you and I had quite a big growth spurt towards the end with 2 extra follicles joining the party.

oh god I've missed loads.
cups its always hard starting a new job but you'll be at home there in no time!
extra brooking for geek and beedle!
I've just had a scan. 6+4 which is right. I was so relieved when he said there was a heartbeat!
am completely knackered as I bearly slept last night.

That's great news cartoon I'm so happy for you. I know you'll still be anxious till you get past the 12 week scan the rest of the pregnancy or the next 18 years but hopefully you can keep hold of the relieved feeling for a few days.

solars don't worry we know its still early days. But 100% fertilization is a fab place to start.

geek it sounds like they're just being cautious with you. I just keep telling myself that I'm sure they know what they're doing. Perhaps they know you're a brooker and they've taken into account the amazing things we can achieve with our dancing :o

Hiya, so I just got the call and all embies are still dividing to schedule at this stage, however there is a little fragmentation so average quality and they want to transfer tomorrow. Not sure exactly what time it will be yet, they've asked me to come in for a blood test at 9 and told me to hang around locally.

glad they're all still dividing solars and perhaps inside you is the best place for them so good luck for tomorrow

so I had 11 follies mainly between 15-18mm with a few smaller and maybe 1 bigger (I can't remember Blush ) Doc was very pleased said i should hope to get 6-8 mature eggs out. Don't know yet if it will be Mon or Tues for EC they'll ring me tomorrow with the decision. So I think we can say its all good here :o definately starting to feel a bit bloated but otherwise I'm fine

beedle that is brilliant news!!! Did they say why they don't expect to get an egg from every follie? I thought that you'd get the same number of eggs as follies, bar maybe one or two? Will they do another scan before EC?
